Members Of The Sports Community Discussed The Development Of Ice And Snow Sports And The Construction Of A Sports Power At The Fourth Session Of The 14th CPPCC National Committee

On the afternoon of March 5, snowflakes were falling outside the window, but the scene of the Sports Committee Group Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference was warm and steaming.

"At the 25th Winter Olympics, our country's ice and snow athletes won 5 golds, 4 silvers and 6 bronzes, a total of 15 medals, setting the best record in the history of our country's participation in the Winter Olympics outside the country!" Commissioner Ji Dong, head coach of the Chinese Freestyle Skiing Aerials Team, instantly ignited the atmosphere in the audience. His notepad is densely filled with his experience in performing his duties and his feelings about the ice and snow, recording the story of the progress of Chinese sports.

"Both team members have won gold medals. Have you thought of that before?" someone asked with a smile. "Xu Mengtao's gold medal win was within my plan. Her jump was perfect, far beyond my expectations." Committee member Ji Dong responded with a smile, her words full of pride. "Wang Xindi also has the ability to win medals. The four young men in the team are all outstanding. No matter who stands on the podium, I will not be surprised."

In the venue, the committee members were talking to each other, and the atmosphere was extremely warm. "As a backbone sports institution, we must do a good job in cultivating competitive sports reserve talents, so that more good talents can stand on the international arena, win glory for the country, and strive for the nation!" Commissioner Liu Zheng, president of Shenyang Institute of Physical Education, said firmly.

"It is necessary to accelerate the transformation of sports science and technology achievements, use science and technology to empower the development of ice and snow sports, and help build a sports power." Member Zhang Hong, director of the Olympic Research Center of Harbin Institute of Technology, took over the conversation, and his views resonated widely…

During the heated discussions and suggestions, the committee members looked forward to a bright future in which ice and snow sports will flourish and a sports power will stride forward.

Dialogue With Liu Wenfeng: Discussing AI Development Trends And Its Application And Empowerment In Corporate Positions

Conversation with Liu Wenfeng.

【1】AI development trend is irreversible

Jiupai News: At the end of 2025, Feishang Technology held a seminar related to AI empowerment. As the person in charge of a technology company, what do you understand by AI?

Liu Wenfeng: At present, the AI that we ordinary people are exposed to is more generative AI, which can generate documents or videos, but in fact AI is more than that.

I think the main body of AI is to conduct in-depth analysis of data, and Feishang Technology is a natural AI participant. Because our main job is to monitor the structure, obtain a large amount of data, conduct in-depth analysis of the data, and make decisions based on the analysis.

In specific usage scenarios, such as safety assessment of structures (note: such as bridges and tunnels), obtaining monitoring data for intelligent alarming, the process of intelligent alarming is an application of AI. This is not determined by patting oneself on the head, but based on real-life data.

From a macro perspective, I think the development of AI is an irreversible trend, and there are many opportunities in different industries, so I personally respect the development of AI very much.

Jiupai News: In the actual work of corporate employees, can AI replace some positions?

Liu Wenfeng: We can’t say replacement yet, but empowerment of certain positions. For example, when it comes to writing plans, in the past, the fresh graduates we recruited, whether they had a master's degree or a doctorate, needed to work hard in the industry for many years before they had the ability to write good plans. But now, by using AI, he can basically get started as soon as he joins the job.

From about the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2025, we independently developed some systems and collected thousands of cases within the company to form a large model. New employees can learn within this system and assist them in generating their own results. In addition, there is also more professional AI in the industry, which facilitates us to obtain more data and helps us better evaluate the safety performance of test objects.

【2】Give space for the implementation of new technologies

Jiupai News: During the two sessions in previous years, you repeatedly mentioned the need to promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. What difficulties are you currently facing in the process of transformation?

Liu Wenfeng: Overall, the country's guidance is very good, and there are many positive responses, but there are still some operational paths that need to be cleared up.

My proposal this year mentioned the bidding system. Currently, in the bidding process, reviewers often focus on the historical performance of the company and how many successful cases the company has had in the past. But for new technologies, there is no performance and there are not many successful cases. Therefore, in the traditional bidding system, its competitiveness is relatively weak.

Therefore, in this case, the value of the “first unit and first set” (note: that is, domestic equipment products that have achieved major technological breakthroughs, possess intellectual property rights, and have not yet achieved significant market performance, including complete equipment, core systems, and key components, etc.) is reflected.

Jiupai News: Without historical experience, the review team will indeed have concerns.

Liu Wenfeng: That’s right. In most cases, quantifiable results will be more important. For new technologies, this must be a minus. I also have some thoughts of my own on this, and will formulate suggestions that I hope can move forward. First of all, we must respect objective laws. Mature cases can become bonus points for companies in bidding. Can we also give certain bonus points to the attributes of technology companies and give technology companies a channel for technology implementation?

This year, I will make a suggestion on accelerating the opening of application scenarios and encourage local governments to attract investment by releasing new application scenarios, such as smart cities, smart security monitoring and other smart application scenarios, so that new technologies can be implemented in such new scenarios.

Jiupai News: What other suggestions will you bring this year?

Liu Wenfeng: There are mainly several aspects. One is about the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and the other is mainly based on suggestions on the business environment of private enterprises.

【3】Need to strengthen communication between academia and industry

Jiupai News: As the person in charge of a company, what abilities do you value in candidates?

Liu Wenfeng: First of all, we must have a sense of rules and use our personal abilities while respecting organizational management. As individuals, only by respecting the organization can we play a better role in the organization. The second is the ability to continue learning. Because the abilities or professional knowledge developed in school can only last for one or two years, continuous learning and continuous improvement of professional abilities are required to keep up with the needs of development.

Jiupai News: Will fresh graduates be at a disadvantage in recruitment?

Liu Wenfeng: I personally don’t think existing technical abilities have much value. Whether they are acquired in school or in the market, continuous learning is required in any position. The existing abilities will reach the ceiling in a short period of time, so I value the ability to continue learning more.

Jiupai News: In practice, do fresh graduates have a high degree of matching with the needs of enterprises without training?

Liu Wenfeng: At present, especially for graduate students and doctoral students, the system of cultivating talents in universities serves the scientific research system rather than the industry. So I think there is still room for discussion between industry, academia and research.

In The Coming Week, Investors Will Pay Close Attention To The Impact Of War In The Middle East And U.S. Inflation Data On The Market.

Financial News Agency, March 8 (Editor Niu Zhanlin) In the coming week, investors will pay close attention to how the war in the Middle East will spread and how much impact it will have on energy supply. They will also need to digest the latest U.S. inflation data that will be released soon.

After the United States and Israel launched attacks on Iran and the conflict spread to many countries in the Middle East, the attention of the global market will be focused on the latest developments in the situation in the Middle East.

This conflict has become a core variable in financial markets. The surge in oil prices has triggered sharp fluctuations in various assets and prompted investors to significantly lower their expectations for an interest rate cut by the Federal Reserve.

The S&P 500 index fell 2% this week, Wall Street's fear indicator VIX hit a nearly one-year high on Friday, and the weak U.S. non-farm payrolls report made U.S. stocks even worse.

Investors are currently weighing between two forces: on the one hand, historical experience shows that stock markets tend to rebound after major geopolitical shocks; on the other hand, the future direction of the situation in Iran remains highly uncertain.

Rick Meckler, a partner at Cherry Lane Investments, said: "This is a very significant event and the direction seems extremely uncertain, which to some extent makes investors reluctant to sell or buy."

One focus of market attention is the conflict-induced surge in energy prices and its impact on inflation and economic output. The fighting has paralyzed shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, which carries about a fifth of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas supplies.

Brent crude oil exceeded US$90 a barrel on Friday, a sharp surge from US$70 before the war began. Higher oil prices could weigh on the stock market outlook in a number of ways, including translating into higher gasoline prices that weaken consumer spending.

Michael Arone, chief investment strategist at State Street Investment Management, said, "In the short term, oil price trends will become an important barometer for judging the performance of risk assets." He added that oil prices exceeding $100 per barrel will be a psychological barrier and the market may become more panicked.

Dominic Pappalardo, chief multi-asset strategist at Morningstar Wealth, said that entering next week, "developments in the Middle East will really affect all financial markets."

Inflation data will also be a focus on Wall Street. The U.S. CPI for February will be released next Wednesday. The previously released January data was unexpectedly lower than market expectations. The Fed's favorite inflation measure, the PCE price index, will also be released next Friday.

If the inflation data is benign, markets may not read too much into it because the reporting period almost entirely precedes the conflict in the Middle East. But an unexpected spike in inflation could pose particularly thorny problems.

Isaac Stell, investment manager at Wealth Club, said: "The unexpected decline in employment coincides with the accumulation of inflationary pressures, leaving policymakers facing a difficult trade-off. Uncertainty still dominates the market environment, which makes it more difficult for companies to make plans and makes policymakers' outlook more unclear."

Investors have recently postponed their expectations for the next Fed rate cut due to concerns that energy prices are driving up inflation. However, weak employment data on Friday has re-raised expectations for a rate cut to a certain extent. The market currently expects a 45% probability of the Federal Reserve cutting interest rates by at least 25 basis points at its June meeting.

Pappalardo said: "If energy prices continue to rise and raise inflation concerns, it will be significantly more difficult for the Fed to implement these two interest rate cuts in 2026."

The Two Sessions Are Hotly Debated Across The Country! President Lai Yifen Focuses On The Shortage Of Talents For Rural Revitalization

During the National Two Sessions in 2026, rural revitalization and private economic transformation have become the focus of heated discussion among delegates.

Yu Ruifen, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and president of Lai Yifen, a snack food company, brought the "Proposal on Improving the Whole Chain of Rural Talent Attraction, Education and Retention with the Dual-wheel Drive of Industrial Empowerment and Talent Cultivation", focusing on the shortage of digital and intelligent talents in rural development.

Yu Ruifen said in an interview with Jiupai Finance that after rural revitalization enters the deep water area, it is difficult to form long-term momentum simply by relying on industry or a single policy. The key lies in building a collaborative mechanism of "industrial empowerment + talent cultivation".

In terms of corporate practice, Lai Yifen has been deeply involved in rural revitalization through industrial assistance, consumption assistance and other methods in recent years. Yu Ruifen found that there is an urgent need for comprehensive talents in management, technology research and development in rural areas.

"However, rural areas have prominent problems such as single channels for talent introduction, insufficient training systems, insufficient support for talent retention, and rigid talent utilization mechanisms; there is an urgent need to build a mechanism for precise talent introduction, systematic cultivation, ecological talent retention, and efficient talent utilization," Yu Ruifen said.

(Yu Ruifen, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and president of Laiyifen)

The following is part of the conversation between Jiupai Finance and Yu Ruifen.

Jiupai Finance: During this year’s Two Sessions, you focused on putting forward proposals on the construction of a talent system for rural revitalization. What are the core concerns?

Yu Ruifen: At present, rural revitalization has entered a stage of high-quality development. Agriculture is upgrading from traditional production to digital agriculture and smart agriculture. The demand for comprehensive talents is becoming increasingly obvious. However, during the survey, we found that there are still some structural problems in the rural talent system, such as inaccurate talent introduction channels, a fragmented local talent training system, and the grassroots talent retention environment that needs to be improved.

Therefore, I put forward in my proposal that I hope to promote the establishment of a full-chain mechanism for "attracting, educating and retaining" at the national level: first, to establish an accurate talent demand database through digital tools to improve the matching of talent introduction; second, to promote the upgrading of agricultural-related vocational education, such as supporting county secondary vocational colleges to cooperate with enterprises to open rural CEO training classes; third, to enable young talents to truly stay in rural areas by improving education, medical, community and other supporting facilities; fourth, to optimize the talent evaluation mechanism so that the transformation of scientific and technological achievements can better motivate talents.

Jiupai Finance: In corporate practice, how does Lai Yifen participate in rural revitalization through industrial assistance?

Yu Ruifen: The greatest value of enterprises in rural revitalization is to turn agricultural products into marketable commodities through the industrial chain. Our practice in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan is a typical example.

Lai Yifen Charity Foundation has created a local tea industry project, operating through the model of "charity foundation + farmers + cooperatives + omni-channel sales". Specifically, on the one hand, we register companies and brands locally and keep procurement, production and taxation locally as much as possible; on the other hand, we cooperate with local cooperatives, who are responsible for raw material processing, and we sell through online platforms and offline stores.

At present, this project has led more than 1,000 registered farmers to participate in the industrial chain, forming a complete chain from raw material procurement, processing to sales. For enterprises, this is not only a public welfare act, but also helps the local area form a sustainable industrial foundation.

Jiupai Finance: In the process of promoting the upgrading of rural industries, how do you view the combination of “local experts” and corporate management experience?

Yu Ruifen: Agricultural and sideline products in many places actually contain traditional craftsmanship and local experience, which are often in the hands of local “local experts” or intangible cultural inheritors. Their experience is invaluable from a product development and processing perspective.

But on the other hand, many rural industries also face the problem of insufficient brand building, marketing and corporate management capabilities. Therefore, I think it is necessary to introduce corporate mentor talents, such as talents who understand brand, supply chain and marketing.

If we combine the two and combine traditional craftsmanship with modern business systems, we can truly turn "local specialties" into branded products. This is also an important path for upgrading rural industries.

Jiupai Finance: In practice and research, have you come across some typical cases of young people returning to their hometowns to start businesses?

Yu Ruifen: There are actually many such cases. Lai Yifen currently cooperates with nearly 300 suppliers, a considerable number of whom are young people who have returned to their hometowns to start businesses after graduating from university.

For example, the founder of a company we cooperated with in Zhaotong, Yunnan, originally did business elsewhere, but found that the local agricultural product resources were very good, so he built a local factory for deep processing. Now the company's annual sales are close to 100 million yuan, and it has also boosted employment for local farmers and the procurement of raw materials.

This model is of great significance to rural areas – raw materials are local, processing is local, and employment is local. The entire industrial chain remains local, and tax revenue and employment opportunities also increase.

Jiupai Finance: From a business perspective, how to get more workers employed at home?

Yu Ruifen: During my research, I came into contact with children from families in mountainous areas who were disabled due to illness or impoverished due to accidents. Their academic performance is very good, but their family conditions are limited. Many of them have to rely on loans to study in college.

If through policy design and social forces, these students can receive clearer support during their studies, such as scholarships, employment planning and even entrepreneurship support, then they will be more willing to return to their hometowns for development after graduation.

Rural areas actually have a very good natural environment and low living costs. As long as the industrial system and employment opportunities are gradually improved, more and more people will return to their hometowns for employment.

Jiupai Finance: At the industry level, competition in the snack snack market is becoming increasingly fierce. How does Lai Yifen respond?

Yu Ruifen: The snack industry has indeed entered a stage of more competition, and the price war is also more obvious. However, Lai Yifen has always adhered to the mid-to-high-end quality route since its establishment. We also hope to form long-term competitiveness through product quality.

For example, we regularly conduct blind testing of products to compare them with similar products on the market, and continue to iterate based on consumer feedback. At present, among the company's products, the proportion of products with healthy attributes such as low sugar, low fat, and low salt has reached a high level.

In our view, although consumption upgrades will be affected by the macro-environment in stages, the health trend will exist in the long term.

Jiupai Finance: In addition to quality upgrades, does Lai Yifen have any new strategic adjustments?

Yu Ruifen: The company will form a "walking on two legs" structure in the future: on the one hand, it will continue to strengthen the positioning of Lai Yifen brand in terms of quality and healthy food; on the other hand, it will expand the cost-effective market through new brands.

For example, we acquired the community retail brand "Yanggnaji" last year. This brand is positioned as "good quality and low price". It currently has about 300 stores, mainly serving community consumption scenarios.

In addition, the company is also exploring more emotional value and IP-based brand building, hoping to increase consumer stickiness through brand content, store experience and product innovation.

Chen Xiaojing From Yongjia Source Village: Restore The Boat And Fire Tourism To Create A Zero-pollution Demonstration Village

Yuanyuan Village, Yongjia County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is the first port for thousands of years of sailing. Eight years ago, under the promotion of Chen Xiaojing, then director of the Yuanyuan Village Committee, the sailboats and waterways that had disappeared in the local area for more than 30 years were restored with this poetic feeling and became a unique local tourism project on the Nanxi River.

As a representative of the 14th National People's Congress, Chen Xiaojing has been providing advice and suggestions for the development of her hometown in recent years. She cares about the environment in her hometown and the money bags of her fellow villagers.

She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and they will make money." She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and they will make money."

This year is Chen Xiaojing’s 10th year working in Yuanyuan Village. In 2017, she was elected as the village committee director by the villagers. Under her leadership, the former dirty, chaotic and poor source village was transformed into the first "zero pollution" village in Zhejiang Province and a demonstration village for rural revitalization in the province.

_Face-to-face丨Big hands holding small hands, getting rich first and then getting rich. She said, "Let the people sit at the door of their homes and they will make money." She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and make money."

Chen Xiaojing is the daughter-in-law of Yuanyuan Village. In the early years, she and her husband had been engaged in the clothing accessories business in Guangzhou. They were agile, capable and willing to work hard, and were well-known in the village as capable people. In 2017, with the rise of the B&B economy, the couple seized the opportunity to return to their hometown, renovated their house, and opened a B&B. When it opened, Chen Xiaojing specially invited more than a hundred friends to come to the village to experience it.

Chen Xiaojing: They ate here and stayed for one night, and they were heartbroken. "Xiao Jing, there is no business in a place like yours. From the outside, it looks like Europe inside, but from the inside, it looks like Africa." It is difficult to do business in such a dirty and messy place.

Chen Xiaojing: I was thinking that my home is fine anyway and the decoration has been installed. My house doesn’t matter anymore. I can just do business if I have one. I came back because I missed myself and my husband, and I wanted to return to my roots after falling leaves. I open a B&B here, and when my guests come, the eggs and old hens in the surrounding area will be sold. What I thought at the time was that the circle was small and it might help nearby neighbors make some money.

At that time, Yongjia County was catching up with the in-depth implementation of the "Return of Rural Virtues to Promote Rural Revitalization Action". Before the general election of the two village committees in the county, the old secretary of Yuanyuan Village came to his door many times and invited Chen Xiaojing to run for village cadre.

In May 2017, Chen Xiaojing was unanimously elected as the director of the Yuanyuan Village Committee. In the source village, most of the young and middle-aged people went out to work, and the left-behind elderly people lacked a source of income and mostly raised poultry and livestock for a living. As a result, the village roads were full of feces and smelled bad. After Chen Xiaojing took office, she and her team members set a goal – if they want to develop, they must first manage the environment.

_Face to face丨Big hands and small hands, get rich first and then get rich. She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and they will make money." She said, "Let the common people sit in front of their homes and make money." Face-to-face丨Big hands holding small hands, getting rich first and then getting rich. She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and they will make money." She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and they will make money."

However, when Chen Xiaojing asked each family to raise chickens, ducks and geese in captivity, conflicts arose.

Chen Xiaojing: You don’t need to give them food when they are free-range. They eat grass and insects and they lay eggs. If you keep it in captivity, you must have a place to keep it in captivity, and you must also provide it with food. He thinks you are meddling in his business. We gave the people half a month, and the radio in our village shouted the countdown every day. In the last half month, the two committees of our village went door to door to inspect.

Face to face

After all the chickens, ducks and geese were raised in captivity, Chen Xiaojing took the lead in setting up a volunteer team of party members and cadres. The team members walked through the villages and alleys every day to clean up the garbage in front of and behind the houses.

In just three months, more than 300 trucks of garbage were cleared out in the village. However, there is a bigger problem before Chen Xiaojing: there is only one west-bound road in Yuanyuan Village, which is less than 1 meter wide at its widest point. There are latrines, cattle pens, and pig pens along the way, and the stench is overwhelming. Chen Xiaojing wants to demolish them and widen the road, but in rural areas, villagers are very resistant to the demolition.

Chen Xiaojing: I ran to the town to discuss it with the town. The secretary of the party committee of our town said, "Xiaojing, it's time for rural revitalization. There is such a model village in the province. If you really demolish the latrines and cattle pens, it costs more than 10 million yuan, and I will take over the project. Can you do it?" I said, "Secretary, don't worry." When we arrived in the county, he reported this matter to the county party committee secretary. Our town party committee secretary, mayor, and I signed the military order on the spot.

The opportunity was hard-won, and Yuanyuan Village finally successfully secured a 10 million yuan line reconstruction and stream regulation project. In one month, Chen Xiaojing convened more than 40 meetings between the two village committees. Although the words were worn out and the soles of shoes were worn out in the early stage, when the day of demolition started, the whole village still exploded.

Face to face

Chen Xiaojing: The whole village exploded, "It's over. Select this Chen Xiaojing. You see, the chickens, ducks and geese will be raised in captivity, the door will be removed, and the latrines and cattle pens will be demolished." A few days after we demolished it, a villager stopped me and cursed me. I said, "If you beat me, I will tear you down. I'm ready. Why did you choose me? You will say I'm good when the time comes. This blueprint is all in my head."

In June 2018, the 100-day battle to improve the environment in Yuanyuan Village officially kicked off. Chen Xiaojing set the first goal: to demolish all the latrines, cattle pens, and pig pens in the village in five days.

Face to face

In those days, Chen Xiaojing endured unprecedented pressure. On the third day, she accidentally fell into a ditch on the side of the road on her way home after a late-night meeting due to exhaustion from days of hard work.

Chen Xiaojing: My husband sent me to the People's Hospital, and my blood pressure was measured. The high pressure was 220 and the low pressure was 115. Do you think you won’t faint with such blood pressure? The doctor recommended that I be hospitalized. I said, "I can't live with it, and we will continue to demolish it tomorrow. You can't finish the demolition, but you demolish half and leave half, which is really scolding. My plan is not completed yet, and I must build the Source Village well."

_Face-to-face丨Big hands holding small hands, getting rich first and then getting rich. She said, "Let the people sit at the door of their homes and they will make money." She said, "Let the people sit in front of their homes and make money."

Within five days, 319 cattle pens, pig pens, huts, open pits, etc. were demolished in the village, and nearly 7,000 square meters of dirty land were cleared. Within 40 days, projects such as waterway dredging, third-line landing, facade renovation, and road "white to black" were completed, completely eradicating "blockage sources" and "odor sources." Yuanyuan Village took on a new look, with an endless stream of people coming to visit and study. The villagers' grievances gradually turned into understanding and gratitude.

Chen Xiaojing: In fact, the people in rural areas are also very simple and kind, and they are also very straightforward. If they do something wrong, they will scold them, right on the spot. After scolding you, he will understand you and come to apologize again. He will give you some food, some radishes, and some potatoes.

Demolition is only the first step. In order to lead the villagers to get rich, Chen Xiaojing and the village "two committees" decided to take the path of cultural tourism. In 2018, they petitioned the town for the Bi Mongolia Cultural Center project and decided to "resurrection" the Bi Mongolia boat built more than 1,800 years ago.

Chen Xiaojing: I searched all over Nanxi River and found three masters. The youngest one is 68 years old and makes it purely by hand. Taking advantage of the east wind of rural revitalization, we resurrected more than 30 sailing boats. Our environment has been renovated. Through the exploration of our culture and the prosperity of the tourism industry brought by the boat, we have started homestays, farmhouses, snack bars, and live broadcasts with goods.

The boat brought back not only memories, but also feelings and nostalgia. Source Village opens its doors to welcome customers and welcomes unprecedented business opportunities. Chen Xiaojing encouraged villagers to open B&Bs, snack bars, and sell agricultural and sideline products, and personally invited villagers working in other places to return to their hometowns to start businesses. Dai Caiwei, known as "Sister-in-law" in the village, is one of them.

Dai Caiwei used to rent a shop outside and worry about the rent even after a day off. Now she runs a business at home and can take care of the elderly. In the first half year of opening, the store made more than 50,000 yuan.

In 2020, Chen Xiaojing was elected as the Party branch secretary of Yuanyuan Village and concurrently serves as the director of the village committee. The burden on her shoulders is even heavier. In order to promote tourism diversification, in 2025, she built a beach forest camp covering an area of more than 20,000 square meters through fundraising and crowdfunding. Zhang Wensheng, who runs a building materials business in Chengdu, is one of the investors in the camp.

Zhang Wensheng: We are optimistic about the country’s policies. Nowadays, rural areas are revitalized to achieve mutual prosperity and win-win results. I am often in Chengdu and go out to play outdoors. I think Chengdu has a good outdoor atmosphere and environment. So our hometown has such good geographical conditions, and the country is so supportive, so our family can definitely do it.

Nowadays, more and more young people are returning to their hometowns to start businesses. The "hollow villages" are rejuvenated, and talents from other places are also joining in one after another. Chen Xiaojing also took the lead in live broadcasting to help farmers, initiated the "B&B Alliance" to achieve group development, founded the "Mother Literacy School", and formed the "Co-Prosperity Detachment of Women". Last year, the village's total tourism income was more than 2 million yuan, the village collective annual income increased by more than 200,000 yuan, and the per capita annual income of farmers increased by more than 1,000 yuan.

National People’s Congress Representative Ma Dan Suggested Supporting Wuhan In Hosting International National-level Women’s Football Events

The 2026 National Two Sessions are being held. Ma Dan, a representative of the National People's Congress and a teacher at Wuhan Tourism School, told Jiupai News that Wuhan, as the central city of the country, has a booming sports industry. Represented by the Wuhan China Chegujiang University Women's Football Club, it has won the "five consecutive championships" of the Women's Super League and the first AFC Women's Champions League championship. The main players of the national team such as Wang Shuang, Wu Haiyan, and Yao Wei have significant influence. "Women's football" has become Wuhan's shining city card.

The 2024-2025 AFC Women's Champions League attracted 26,081 spectators in a single game, demonstrating the strong market appeal and consumption-driving potential of women's football matches.

Ma Dan suggested that Wuhan be supported in hosting international and national-level women’s football events. This can transform sports advantages into development momentum and serve high-quality regional development.

Currently, Wuhan has a solid foundation and excellent capabilities to host top-level women’s football events. In terms of hardware, the city has built more than 45,000 sports venues of various types, with a total area exceeding 44 million square meters, and a per capita sports venue area of 3.32 square meters. Among them, a number of venues such as Wuhan Sports Center, Wuhuan Sports Center, and Hongshan Stadium have reached international first-class standards.

In terms of software, the successful holding of the 7th Military World Games in 2019 has accumulated valuable comprehensive operation experience for top international events for Wuhan, and created a professional and efficient event team and a "one-stop" service mechanism. As the "thorough of nine provinces", Wuhan has a three-dimensional transportation network radiating across the country and complete supporting support capabilities, which can provide solid support for large-scale events.

Wuhan has achieved remarkable economic results in developing events, and the women's football event has huge potential for transformation. Wuhan has built a city brand event system with "Han horses in spring, river crossing in summer, Wuhan tennis in autumn, and ice and snow in winter", and has innovatively promoted the integrated development of "sports, culture, tourism, business and leisure".

Data shows that the economic benefits of the Wuhan Marathon in 2025 will reach 975 million yuan, the total economic benefits of the Wuhan Tennis Open will be approximately 705 million yuan, and the total annual sports consumption is expected to reach 57 billion yuan. Compared with famous international competition cities such as Beijing and Shanghai, Wuhan urgently needs to further improve the level of competition. Incorporating women's football, which has a broad mass base and huge attention, into the high-end event system will effectively amplify the "event+" integration effect and effectively transform viewing traffic into increased consumption and industrial momentum.

Supporting Wuhan in hosting high-end women's football events has important national strategic and regional development significance. This move is a concrete action to implement the country's strategic deployment of "supporting local bids to host top international events" and promoting the rise of the central region. It is also highly consistent with the key tasks of actively developing the event economy in the "15th Five-Year Plan" of Hubei Province and Wuhan City.

By hosting international women's football events, it can not only strengthen Wuhan's function as an international exchange center, but also use the event as a link to link the city clusters in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River to deepen collaboration in the fields of industry, transportation, public services, etc., enhance the overall regional competitiveness, create an important growth pole for high-quality development across the country, and help Wuhan achieve a leap from "a national event city" to an "international event highland" and even "a rising leader in central China".

Ma Dan suggested that, first, we urge the State Sports General Administration and the Chinese Football Association to clearly list Wuhan as a key city in the layout of major international and national women's football events, and give priority guidance and policy preferences in event planning and bidding.

The second is to sincerely request support and coordination and guidance for Wuhan City’s specific bid to host the 2028 East Asian Cup Women’s Football Tournament, and actively consider settling high-level women’s football events in Wuhan such as the Olympic Qualifiers, Club World Cup, and Asian Club Cup.

The third is to implore Wuhan to be given greater policy innovation space and pilot support in terms of event approval and filing, foreign affairs procedures, and event commercial development, and to encourage the exploration of new models and new paths for the integrated development of "sports +".

Zhu Songchun’s Team Builds General Artificial Intelligence And Explores AI Transformation For Machines

Wang Ning: We’ve come to Tongtong’s town again. “Tongtong” is six years old.

"Tongtong" created by Zhu Songchun's team is not only a digital image, but also the world's first general artificial intelligence agent with value-driven and embodied growth as its core. Its mental level is equivalent to that of a five- or six-year-old child, and every time it grows, it explores the path for the transformation of the AI research paradigm.

_The latest progress in general artificial intelligence_artificial intelligence human brain

Zhu Songchun, 57 years old, is a dual-employed professor at Peking University and Tsinghua University and the director of the Beijing Institute of General Artificial Intelligence. He has been conducting academic research in the field of artificial intelligence for more than thirty years. In the past five years, the birth of "Tongtong" began with his core exploration: establishing a heart for machines. He believes that in order to achieve a qualitative change in artificial intelligence from "completing specific tasks" to "understanding the human world", it is necessary to get rid of dependence on massive data and instead build a cognitive architecture with causal reasoning and self-awareness.

Wang Ning: Most people think that as long as you give it enough data to know all life scenarios or give it enough information, it seems that it can learn.

The latest progress in general artificial intelligence_artificial intelligence human brain

Zhu Songchun: Weak physical interaction and weak social interaction can be solved through big data, but for strong interaction, such as making glutinous rice balls, what does the sensor of the robot look like? How should the hand movements be done to collect this data? This is not easy to implement by default data as before. Because the experience of our communication process is different every time, when it enters thousands of households and industries, the magnitude of this scene will be too great.

Zhu Songchun: As a general intelligent agent, we actually do not do a lot of data training, so we have taken a technical route driven by cognition and value causality.

_The latest progress in general artificial intelligence__artificial intelligence human brain

In 2010, Zhu Songchun was a professor at the University of California, Los Angeles. In 2011, during the Fukushima nuclear leakage incident, Japanese robots were unable to complete core tasks due to lack of autonomous intelligence, which inspired him to start thinking about the limitations of traditional AI research paths.

After seeing the limitations of the traditional artificial intelligence route, Zhu Songchun began to turn to general artificial intelligence research that is closer to human cognition. In 2020, he ended his overseas life and returned to China to take the lead in preparing for the establishment of the Beijing Institute of General Artificial Intelligence.

Zhu Songchun: We were thinking about whether we could build an AI baby, and later we called it “Tongtong” and regarded it as a representative of one of the roads leading to AGI.

_artificial intelligence human brain_the latest progress in general artificial intelligence

Wang Ning: What exactly is the concept of general artificial intelligence? There is a difference between artificial intelligence and general artificial intelligence.

Zhu Songchun: There are differences. First, it has to complete unlimited tasks. Second, it has autonomy and self, and it is not something you say or do. Third, it must be driven by one's own inner value, and it must have original intention and value.

_artificial intelligence human brain_the latest progress in general artificial intelligence

In order to let "Tongtong" truly grow up, Zhu Songchun and his team built a realistic 3D virtual world for it, allowing it to explore the world like a human child in a highly simulated physical and social environment, learn basic life skills and social skills, and develop cognition and mind at the same time.

Zhu Songchun: We refer to developmental psychology and children’s growth scales. From the age of 1 to 3, children basically learn embodied physical intelligence, which is to rummage through boxes, run around, and knock things over.

Zhu Songchun: After the age of 3 or 4, you start to learn social intelligence. It knows that you are unhappy and hate it. It needs to control itself and cannot yell or run around casually. This is when social intelligence begins to appear, and it knows how you see it. This training is social intelligence, which means that based on its cognitive architecture, it should map your feelings into its head, so that it can think from your perspective.

_The latest progress in general artificial intelligence_artificial intelligence human brain

Wang Ning: But as a robot, you have to cultivate it and train it to produce such instincts.

Zhu Songchun: On the surface, this is called training, but in reality, there must be a structure in its head to train it. Therefore, the first step in social intelligence is that it needs to know what you are thinking, and it will begin to recognize the value of others. Another step is our common interests. When we open a company, how will the interests be distributed? We have common interests, shares, and the construction of a common value system for the country, nation, and mankind. On this basis, we assign various levels of value to it.

Zhu Songchun: Only after assigning value, everything will have its own values. Therefore, the process of training "Tongtong" is the same as the moral education we teach children, which is to build children's values and constantly upgrade them.

_The latest progress in general artificial intelligence_artificial intelligence human brain

Now "Tongtong"'s mind has grown to the level of a six-year-old child. Its activity space has gradually expanded from a small house to a complete virtual town. In the virtual town, Tongtong will encounter some unexpected situations. At this moment, someone asks it to help find a cat feeder, and at the same time someone asks it to do other things.

Technical staff: In fact, "Tongtong" has the task management ability. When we have different tasks, it will sort according to the importance and priority of the problem and its own value to choose what it should do.

When "Tongtong" learns to say "no", it means that it is no longer just a program that passively executes instructions, but an intelligent agent with independent will and value judgment. Zhu Songchun believes that the hallmark of general artificial intelligence is the ability to complete unlimited tasks, the ability to make independent decisions, and is driven by inner values rather than passively executing instructions. "Tongtong" shows the "childhood" of general artificial intelligence.

_The latest progress in general artificial intelligence_artificial intelligence human brain

Zhu Songchun: When it comes to the safety of artificial intelligence, we hope that its value system will be safe during the shaping process of "Tongtong". So what kind of value system is safe? A very important thing – it must be kind and have a basic conscience. At the same time, it must have a so-called cognitive immune system and a value immune system. It does not accept some values or these things. In essence, I realize that it is ultimately a cultural competition.

In the global artificial intelligence competition, hardware such as computing power and electricity are important competitive factors. However, Zhu Songchun believes that it is not only these external conditions that determine the future, but also the battle to build the underlying intelligent architecture from the source with conscience and value immunity as the core. Such an intelligent architecture can prevent AI from becoming a "bottomless tool" and build an alignment of AI safety and ethics from the underlying architecture.

Zhu Songchun’s relationship with artificial intelligence began in the 1980s. At that time, he was studying as an undergraduate in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Science and Technology of China. At a time when many people did not know what AI was, he established general intelligence as the direction of his exploration.

Zhu Songchun: My entry point is mainly academic curiosity and appeal. I think this is so interesting. I have to define and think about so many problems and realize them. I can realize the world's first general artificial intelligence. Life is so short, and it is so great that this can be done.

Having worked in this field for many years, Zhu Songchun realized that general artificial intelligence has left the laboratory and is the atomic bomb of the future information space and the winner in competition with major powers. As a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, he focuses on original architecture, AI security governance, and talent cultivation. He also hopes that the growing "Tongtong" will be able to enter thousands of households and integrate into thousands of industries in the future.

_The latest progress in general artificial intelligence_artificial intelligence human brain

Zhu Songchun: "Tongtong" is actually a brain. Hubei and central and western Chongqing need it very much. We combine the advantages of Beijing's scientific and technological innovation with their advantages of industrial innovation, and promote the application of these in the real economy, which I think is another huge advantage of China, such as emergency management and medical care. We have an intelligent agent factory dedicated to building this kind of platform. During the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, we will further form a large platform to help them build such intelligent agents.

Wang Ning: In the future, we can see "Tongtong" who are emergency managers, "Tongtong" who are doctors, and "Tongtong" who are housekeepers?

Zhu Songchun: Yes, thousands of industries and households need to do this step by step.

Representatives Of The National People's Congress Suggest Promoting The AS700 Manned Airship Industry For Domestic Pilot Testing

During the National Two Sessions in 2026, Hu Weiyi, a representative of the National People's Congress and secretary of the Party branch of Lailong Village, Pailou Town, Dongbao District, Jingmen City, Hubei Province, suggested promoting the AS700 manned airship industry to be piloted in the country and accelerating the expansion of application scenarios.

In recent years, Jingmen City, Hubei Province has made every effort to promote the research and development and industrialization of the AS700, China's first large-scale civilian manned airship with completely independent intellectual property rights. At present, the project has successfully passed the acceptance of relevant scientific research projects of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and its technical maturity and reliability have been verified at the national level.

"AS700 is a major breakthrough made by my country's aviation industry in the field of aerostats. Its successful development marks that my country has reached the world's advanced level in this field." Hu Weiyi said that AS700 has significant advantages such as high safety, economical operation, flexible take-off and landing, and green environmental protection. It has broad application prospects in diversified scenarios such as low-altitude tourism, scenic spot sightseeing, emergency rescue, and aerial inspection.

He said that since the launch of AS700, its innovative design concept and wide application potential have continued to attract public attention, forming a strong brand effect and market expectations, laying a good cognitive foundation for industrialization. At the same time, due to its groundbreaking significance, the product has been intensively reported by CCTV, People's Daily and many mainstream media, showing its great potential and hot prospects as a new carrier of low-altitude economy.

However, although AS700 has received national project support and enjoys high market popularity, and orders have covered many pioneering provinces in China, its industrialization success ultimately depends on sustainable commercial applications. The most prominent contradiction currently lies in the serious mismatch between the product’s popularity and technological maturity and the actual application and promotion speed in the province.

In order to solve the problem of application scenario implementation, firmly root the national technical achievements and market popularity of AS700 in Hubei, and transform it into the first-mover advantage and practical productivity of Hubei Province's low-altitude economic development, Hu Weiyi put forward the following three suggestions.

First, it is recommended that the AS700 be included in the national low-altitude economic development and key cultural tourism project planning, and that priority be given to laying out commercial operation demonstration routes in the "Two Rivers and Two Mountains" (Yangtze River, Hanjiang, Wudang Mountains, Shennongjia) golden tourist belts and key ecological functional areas, so as to create a nationally renowned "Hubei model" for low-altitude applications.

Second, it is recommended to encourage state-owned enterprises and platform companies to take the lead in demonstrating and actively introduce and operate AS700 through procurement, leasing or cooperative operations, quickly activate the initial market, verify the business model, and play a leading role.

Third, increase publicity, promotion and market cultivation, use national platform resources to focus on promoting demonstration projects, hold high-profile industry forums or application observation activities, attract the attention of industries across the country, effectively transform "media enthusiasm" into "investment enthusiasm" and "industry enthusiasm", and promote Hubei Province to become the leader and main beneficiary of the new low-altitude economic track.

Liu Qingfeng Talks About The Two Sessions: The Key To The Success Of China's Large Model Enterprises Is To Be Independent And Controllable Across The Entire Stack

On the evening of March 6, Liu Qingfeng, deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of iFlytek, was interviewed by the media at the Anhui News Center of the 2026 National Two Sessions in Beijing.

Talking about the way for China's large-scale model companies to break through against the background of increasingly fierce global artificial intelligence competition and facing multiple challenges from technical limitations and industrial dimensions, Liu Qingfeng said that the key lies in achieving full-stack independent controllability from algorithms, data to application scenarios.

Liu Qingfeng, deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of iFlytek: It is a top priority for domestically produced large models to achieve full-stack autonomy and controllability_Liu Qingfeng, deputy to the National People's Congress and chairman of iFlytek: It is a top priority for domestic large-scale models to achieve full-stack autonomy and controllability_

He pointed out that many models are currently trained based on foreign computing power and do adaptation and inference research on domestic computing power. This model still has security risks at the autonomous and controllable level. "A truly autonomous and controllable model should be trained on one's own computing power. Only after training on one's own computing power can a more complete autonomous ecosystem be formed. I think our safe future is guaranteed."

In his view, domestic computing power training has made continuous progress in the past year. "Although Spark is still the only mainstream model for domestic computing power training today, more and more special models and model manufacturers have begun to adapt artificial intelligence to domestic computing power, and have also begun to enter the training of base models."

Based on these developments, he showed firm confidence: "China's own computing power continues to develop, algorithms continue to adapt, and we are making our own innovations. Coupled with our rich application scenarios and the advantages of software and hardware integration, China's artificial intelligence can not only achieve independent controllability during the '15th Five-Year Plan', but also has a very broad future."
