As the school anniversary bell is about to ring for the 80th anniversary of our alma mater, all members of the 41st Student Union of Jilin University of Finance and Economics, with great reverence and attachment, extend our most sincere greetings and warmest blessings to the teachers who nurtured us and guided us carefully!
Looking back on our time at the University of Finance and Economics, those figures hiding in the tree-lined avenues for morning reading, the bright lights in the library, and the collision of ideas in the teaching building have now become the most precious memories in our hearts. Guided by the school motto of "Morality and Practicality", our alma mater not only provides us with a platform to systematically learn professional knowledge, but also uses an inclusive and open campus culture to teach us to stick to our original aspirations and be brave in our mission. Every plant, tree, brick and tile here is engraved with the story of our youth, and also precipitates our attachment to "home" – no matter how long it has been since graduation, no matter where we are, the six words "Jilin University of Finance and Economics" will always be the warmest belonging in our hearts.
Looking back on the past, the 41st Student Union of Jilin University of Finance and Economics is destined to be extraordinary. The Youth League Representative Meeting was grandly held with the joint efforts of teachers and classmates; the sign-in rate for each session of the youth major study group class exceeded 98%, ranking among the top three among universities in Jilin Province; during the special period, the school student union actively used online new media to promote anti-epidemic knowledge to classmates, with a cumulative reading volume of more than 100,000 times. At the same time, many members of the school student union joined the ranks of local anti-epidemic volunteers and were reported by provincial and municipal media many times. This once again reflects the responsibility and responsibility of Jicai's young students.
We deeply miss our classmates who worked side by side in the school student union. Those nights spent together to enrich campus cultural activities, those moments of intense discussions to optimize plans, those tacit understandings of smiling at each other after the event was successfully held, and those warmth of encouraging each other when encountering difficulties, have become the most shining marks of youth. We worked hard to serve our classmates and grew up together with sweat and laughter. In those days, we were comrades-in-arms, partners, and the most precious companions in each other's youth. Nowadays, although we have gone our separate ways and pursued our dreams in different professional positions, the deep friendship we forged in the student union has never faded. Whenever I think of those times fighting side by side, my heart will still be full of warmth and strength. We know very well that it was the experience of working together that made us learn to collaborate, understand responsibility, and gain growth.
Eighty years of ups and downs, eighty years of fragrant peaches and plums. Looking back on the past, our alma mater has cultivated countless talents for the country and written brilliant chapters on the road of education; looking forward to the future, we firmly believe that under the strong leadership of the party committee with Secretary Binghui as the core, and with the joint efforts of all teachers and students, Jilin University of Finance and Economics will surely become more brilliant on the road to becoming a world-class financial school with a more high-spirited attitude!
