01 Introduction to the College
Yingyang Financial Technology College is a secondary college within Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. It is the first financial technology college in the province, jointly established by Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and Zhejiang Yingyang Asset Management Co., Ltd., rather than an independent college. Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics is located in Hangzhou, which is known as the "Paradise on Earth". It is a multi-disciplinary finance and economics university with coordinated development of economics and management disciplines as the main subjects. It is known as the "Whampoa Military Academy" for Zhejiang's finance and taxation cadres, the cradle of accountants, fertile ground for financiers, and the palace of entrepreneurs. Yingyang Asset is a securities investment fund management company engaged in asset and investment management. It has Yingyang Research Institute and Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, focusing on the innovation and development of financial technology investment research ideas. The construction and development of Yingyang Institute of Financial Technology integrates the school's first-level doctoral programs in applied economics and statistics, second-level doctoral programs in finance and big data statistical methods and applications, as well as the disciplines, majors and faculty advantages of the School of Finance, School of Information Management and Artificial Intelligence, School of Data Science, China Academy of Financial Research and other institutions where master's programs in finance, applied statistics, management science and engineering are located.
The college has two undergraduate majors: Financial Engineering (Financial Science and Technology Innovation) and Financial Mathematics (Financial Science and Technology Innovation). The Financial Engineering major is a national first-class undergraduate major construction site, the first batch of provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and an emerging provincial specialty. Financial Mathematics is a nationally-designed cross-disciplinary major. Cultivate high-quality innovative and applied financial technology talents who systematically master the basic theories of economics and finance, apply mathematical theoretical methods and computer technology, and cross-integrate new generation digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing, blockchain, etc. Implement the "dual lecturer system" small class teaching and the full-process "dual tutor system", set up college scholarships and student investment funds to encourage students to carry out professional learning, subject competitions and investment practices, etc., to achieve an organic integration of classroom teaching and innovative practice.

Financial Engineering (Financial Science and Technology Innovation)
This major is a national first-class undergraduate major construction site, one of the first batch of provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and an emerging specialty major in the province. It innovatively integrates the theoretical foundations of economics, finance, and computers, and introduces mathematical tools, engineering thinking, and programming methods into the financial field. It is committed to cultivating students' abilities in financial market asset pricing, risk management, and application of various new financial tools. It also cultivates compound financial technology talents who understand the theory and practice in the field of financial technology, are familiar with financial technology-related policies and regulations, and meet the needs of the modern financial market.
Financial Mathematics (Financial Science and Technology Innovation)
This major is a nationally-designed multidisciplinary major that focuses on cultivating students with a solid mathematical foundation and rigorous mathematical thinking, mastering the basic theories and analytical methods of financial mathematics, and being able to apply cutting-edge technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence to financial problem modeling, product design and development, and financial investment and other modern financial services. Cultivate compound financial technology talents who master the theory and practice in the field of financial technology, understand relevant policies and regulations of financial technology, and have a profound foundation in mathematics, physics and computer software.
Wenhua College
01 Introduction to the College
Founded in 2021, Wenhua College is a specialized college that cultivates interdisciplinary talents. Facing the new era, new technology, and new economic wave, the school empowers financial education with information technology and big data, achieving an organic integration of financial majors and digital technology.
Wenhua College has five innovative classes including digital finance, smart auditing, digital management, language data, and digital financial news, as well as a class for top talents in economics. Students are managed by the host college, and teaching adopts a new training plan to highlight the cross-integration of majors.
Wenhua College students are selected from all freshmen in the school (excluding Chinese-foreign cooperative education and art), focusing on students with corresponding professional learning intentions, learning abilities, and innovative awareness. Selection and admission are conducted through voluntary application and comprehensive testing. The innovation class enrolls 30 students in each class, and the new students are selected within two weeks after they enroll.
Wenhua College implements small class teaching and implements a full tutor group system. The college has established student science and technology innovation projects to encourage students to carry out interdisciplinary research-based learning, innovative practice and subject competition activities, and set up special scholarships.

At the same time, they have the potential to engage in research work and further study in professional fields such as digital economy and digital finance.
