This year, Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and Zhejiang Yingyang Asset Management Co., Ltd. jointly established the province's first financial technology college, Yingyang Financial Technology College, which is committed to cultivating high-quality innovative and applied financial technology talents who systematically master the basic theories of economics and finance, apply mathematical theoretical methods and computer technology, and cross-integrate new generation digital technologies. The college has established two undergraduate majors: Financial Engineering (Financial Science and Technology Innovation) and Financial Mathematics (Financial Science and Technology Innovation), each enrolling 50 students. Among them, the financial engineering major is a national first-class undergraduate major construction site, the provincial first-class undergraduate major construction site, and a provincial emerging specialty major. The financial mathematics major is a national cross-composite major. The major has two outstanding characteristics: practical application and cross-complexity. It is a typical combination of Internet finance and big data finance.
Candidates with high scores can be given priority to majors, and students have full rights to choose their majors.
