Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University was founded in 1993 and was approved by the Ministry of Education to be included in the national unified enrollment plan in 2002. It is a non-profit private undergraduate university and the only undergraduate-level vocational education pilot university in Shanghai.
