(referred to as "China Railway Nanning Bureau") on the 8th showed that in the first quarter of 2026, the bureau sent a total of 65,091 commercial vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 29.2%. Among them, 40,261 cars were sent from Liuzhou Luorong Automobile Logistics Base, a year-on-year increase of 109%.
Guangxi is an important "bridgehead" for China's automobile exports to the ASEAN market, and Liuzhou City gathers the vehicle production bases of the four major automobile groups. In recent years, the State Railway Nanning Bureau has vigorously launched China-Vietnam trains and the New Western Land-Sea Corridor trains, serving advantageous products such as cars and large machinery to go abroad, and continuously expanding its market share in Southeast Asian countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

Dai Bin, the person in charge of Liuzhou Luorong Automobile Logistics Base, said that thanks to the country’s continuous introduction of industry support policies such as vehicle purchase tax reduction and exemption for new energy vehicles, exemption from vehicle and vessel taxes, and no consumption tax for pure electric vehicles, automobile companies have accelerated their pace of exploring domestic and overseas markets.
At the same time, the State Railway Nanning Bureau used the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) policy to build the Liuzhou Luorong Automobile Logistics Base into an important hub of the New Land-Sea Corridor in the West. The base has launched a "one-stop" direct automobile transportation project, attracting many companies to choose railway channels to ship automobiles and spare parts products.
In response to the special requirements for the transportation of automobiles and spare parts, the Nanning Railway Logistics Center of the State Railway Nanning Bureau continues to improve its operation support capabilities. "Small cars have high unit prices and are easily damaged." Wu Pingshi, deputy foreman of the Luorong Sales Office of the center, said that in order to improve the efficiency of loading auto parts, a new loading and unloading yard integrating container filling and warehousing has been set up in the railway freight yard, and the loading and unloading operation time of a single box of spare parts has been reduced from the original 3 hours to 1.2 hours.
It is reported that Liuzhou's automobile export volume will exceed 300,000 vehicles in 2025, setting a record high. (over)
