According to Kunming Fire Brigade statistics: From 24:00 on July 19 to 06:00 on July 20, 2017, the Kunming Public Security Fire Detachment Operation Command Center received a total of 117 calls, dispatched 158 fire vehicles (times), dispatched 916 rescue officers and soldiers (times), rescued more than 250 trapped people, and evacuated more than 680 trapped people.

Flood fighting and rescue missions are mainly distributed in: Guandu District (Jinma Road Area, Guan Guan Area, Dashuying Area, Tuqiao Village Area, Liujia Area); Panlong District (along Chuanjin Road, Xiaoba Area, Dongfeng East Road Area, Jinxing Interchange Area, Qinglong Village Area); Wuhua District (Qingnian Road Economic and Trade Hotel Area, Macun Area, Hongshan Area, Beijiaochang Area, Xiyuan South Road Area).
As of 04:00 on the 20th, the entire rescue work has gradually shifted from rescuing and evacuating personnel to the danger elimination stage.
