On October 17, a special autumn job fair for 2025 agricultural college graduates in Yunnan Province and a special job fair for the 6th National Agricultural and Forestry School-Enterprise Talent Conference and Yunnan Agricultural University were held.
The job fair was hosted by the Education Working Committee of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, and the Yunnan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, and hosted by Yunnan Agricultural University. It aimed to build a platform for direct communication and two-way selection between agricultural college graduates and employers, and promote high-quality and full employment of graduates.
The job fair was crowded and the atmosphere was warm, attracting more than 220 employers from Shanghai, Shenzhen, Xiamen, Chengdu and other places. Among them, there are 9 state-owned enterprises, 11 Fortune 500 companies, 44 China Fortune 500 companies, and 14 listed companies. They provide more than 600 positions of various types and plan to recruit more than 8,000 people, covering agricultural technology, agricultural product processing, animal husbandry, breeding, landscaping and horticulture and other fields.
At the job fair, many graduates were dressed in formal attire, holding carefully prepared resumes, and shuttled between various recruitment booths. They actively communicate with employers and inquire in detail about the company's development blueprint, job requirements, salary and benefits and other details. Many graduates have expressed a strong desire to "return to their hometowns" to work and are eager to use what they have learned to serve the motherland and support their hometowns. The recruitment specialist of the employer introduced the highlights and features of the company in detail and answered every question of the graduates in detail.
"Classmate, your internship experience can be sorted out in more detail…" Teachers from the career planning and employment guidance team of Yunnan Agricultural University were busy at the consultation point guiding graduates to improve their resumes and interview skills. Volunteers from the Employment and Entrepreneurship Mutual Aid Association also shuttled back and forth within the venue to provide on-site services to employers and graduates. There is also a policy consultation area at the job fair. Staff from the Panlong District Public Employment Service Center patiently answer questions for graduates, paving the way for their career development and providing strong policy support for employers to introduce talents.
