The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council held a 2026 Spring Festival group meeting at the Great Hall of the People on February 14. General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered a speech, on behalf of the Central Committee of the Party and the State Council, to people of all ethnic groups across the country, to compatriots in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Macao Special Administrative Region, Taiwan compatriots and overseas Chinese.
