Giving technology companies a humanistic connotation – helping big companies like Baidu to present professional technologies and relatively abstract concepts to be presented on product launch days using interactive devices such as robotic arms, so that the public can quickly understand how these new technologies can be applied to real life. Equip humanistic enterprises with "technological wings" – use digital twin technology to project the latest season clothing and jewelry of fashion brands on touch screens to add highlights to brand advertising and marketing.
"I am the translator between liberal arts language and science code." Huang Sha studied computer graphics and virtual reality technology at University College London, and later went to New York to study film art. With both art and technology professional knowledge systems, he embarked on the road of super entrepreneur. In the Yuhai Digital team, everyone is like Huangsha, able to complete the design to the implementation of product content in an efficient manner by one person. In addition to a high-threshold professional background, super entrepreneurs also need to have the composite ability of "everyone can be a product manager and designer." "For example, as a front-end or back-end engineer, you need to be able to go out behind the scenes and communicate and coordinate directly with customers; some 'super designers' master both 2D and 3D design skills."
AI empowers teams
Zhong Junhao, secretary-general of the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Association, said that the birth of "super individuals" depends not only on the entrepreneurs' own resource linking capabilities, but also on the productivity changes brought about by the exponential increase in work efficiency after the massive emergence of AI application tools. The complex work that was originally completed by a team of 10 or 20 people can now be completed by a "super individual".
"In the past, super entrepreneurship always faced two big mountains, one was communication costs and the other was learning costs." Huang Sha said frankly that the team has maintained a lean number of people for a long time to complete project delivery, which means that although the quality of each project is very high, the production capacity cannot keep up, and some good projects have to be declined. Artificial intelligence can do it easily. Currently, the range of AI large models used by Yuhai Digital is very wide, ranging from general large models from domestic and foreign leaders such as Doubao, KIMI, and ChatGPT, to large models of Vincentian pictures and videos such as Midjourney and Sora2, to large programming models such as Microsoft CoPilot. The team draws on the latest technologies to empower itself. "It used to take three days to make a set of PPT, but now it takes 30 seconds to 'feed' all the materials into the template; programmers want parameters and designers want aesthetics. In the past, these two groups would 'fight', but now the AI assistant can 'set' their respective needs step by step, allowing both parties to reach a consensus."
"Give what you want"
Zhong Junhao said that after super entrepreneurs find their way and emerge, it is the government's turn to provide all-round support. The "Measures" released by Xuhui this time clearly stated that in the early stages of starting a business, super entrepreneurs will be provided with support such as "full exemption of office fees in the first year and renewal of assessment in the following year" and "full exemption of professional comprehensive services such as financial agency in the first year and renewal of assessment in the following year", and provide entrepreneurial start-up capital of up to 100,000 yuan as well as investment and financing support from the Artificial Intelligence Youth Entrepreneurship Fund, commercial banks, etc.
The person in charge of Xuhuike Venture Capital said that from the perspective of investors, it is hoped that super entrepreneurs can further strengthen their capabilities in four aspects after obtaining the support of resources and services: first, individual entrepreneurs must form a closed loop of the industrial chain of "technology-product-delivery-sales"; The influence of personal IP can stimulate users' enthusiasm for repurchase, forming a flywheel effect; third, the entrepreneur's core technology or product has its own "moat", which cannot be easily imitated by others; fourth, the entrepreneur can achieve year-by-year revenue growth without expanding the team.
After settling in Xuhui, Huang Sha was once surprised by the precise industry matching capabilities of Xuhui District New Work Office and other professional departments. "We want to create an AI+XR immersive digital experience. Xuhui found us a hardware manufacturer for VR head-mounted display equipment in the region. It also accurately helped us find a technology company that makes a localized game engine, a company that engages in 3D scanning, and a team that specializes in digital twin technology…"
Pan Yan, deputy director of the Municipal Economic and Information Technology Commission, said that Shanghai will form a collaborative ecology of "large enterprises + small individuals" around policies, scenarios, investment and financing in Beiyang Artificial Intelligence Innovation Town and other industrial carriers to create a national artificial intelligence development highland.
