The Conflict In The Middle East Affects The Energy Lifeline, And The Philippines Declares An Energy Emergency

On March 26, a research report released by JPMorgan Chase stated: "The Philippine government has declared a national energy emergency this week, saying that conflicts in the Middle East are posing an imminent danger to the country's energy supply."

On the same day, Alexander Shokhin, chairman of the Union of Russian Industrialists and Entrepreneurs in Moscow, revealed to the media that when Putin met with business people, he made it clear that he hoped that the war in the Middle East would end in the next few weeks, and reminded the Russian Ministry of Finance and related companies that they should not expect long-term "windfalls."

Since the United States and Israel launched large-scale military operations against Iran on February 28, the Strait of Hormuz, the global energy lifeline, has been almost cut off. Brent crude oil has risen by 49% this month, closing at $108.01 per barrel on Thursday.

One month's increase is equivalent to the sum of the past two years.

For Russia, which exports millions of barrels of oil every day, this is simply pie in the sky. The Russian Ministry of Finance’s budget revenue has soared, the profits of oil companies have doubled, and economic sanctions have all relied on this wave of oil price dividends to breathe a sigh of relief.

普京对中俄关系__普京政府中东战略

Putin said: "The war in the Middle East has brought excess profits to Russia, a major energy exporter, but this situation will not last long."

Analysts at JPMorgan Chase issued a report on March 26, which stated that shipping time from the Persian Gulf to Asia is about 10 to 20 days, and that cargo shipped before the conflict has been basically exhausted.

The Philippines can no longer bear it and has declared a national energy emergency. JPMorgan Chase estimates that the loss of oil demand in Southeast Asia in April will be about 300,000 barrels per day.

If each country's inventory release is limited to its own country, losses may quickly exceed 2 million barrels per day in May and approach 3 million barrels per day in June.

Africa will be under pressure in early April, and if inland inventories are low, oil demand losses in April could be as high as 250,000 barrels per day.

As for the United States, most oil cargoes are expected to stop arriving around April 15 due to longer shipping times.

However, JPMorgan Chase believes that with its huge domestic crude oil production capacity, the United States will not experience a direct shortage in the short term, and the impact will be mainly reflected in rising prices.

Therefore, if the war in the Middle East ends within a few weeks as Putin said, then the window period for Russia's windfall will only be a few weeks at most.

On the same day as Putin's statement, U.S. President Trump announced that the air strike on Iran's energy facilities would be postponed for another 10 days to April 6.

Russia has made a lot of money from this crisis, but Putin clearly understands the nature of this money. It is a "windfall" and a war dividend, not the result of economic structural transformation.

Once the war ends and oil prices fall, Russia will once again rely on energy exports for fiscal revenue, and energy exports will once again be subject to the international situation.

Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force Personnel Forced Their Way Into The Chinese Embassy In Japan, And Japanese Police Launched A Search

It revolves around the fact that members of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force forced their way into the Chinese Embassy in Japan and were arrested by the police. The Ministry of Public Security of the Japanese Metropolitan Police Department launched a search on the 29th of its affiliated unit garrison and related residences.

According to the Chinese Embassy in Japan, on the morning of the 24th, a criminal who claimed to be a "Japan Self-Defense Forces member" climbed over the wall and forced his way into the Chinese Embassy in Japan, threatening to kill Chinese diplomats. The Chinese Embassy in Japan lodged solemn representations and expressed strong protest, demanding that Japan make a responsible explanation. But so far, the Japanese government has only expressed "regret" and has not mentioned an apology or specific accountability measures.

According to previous reports, the Japanese Ministry of Defense stated that Kodai Murata, a member of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force who was handed over to prosecutors on March 26 and who forced his way into the Chinese Embassy, graduated from the Cadre Candidate School in January this year and was subsequently assigned to the Ebino garrison in Miyazaki Prefecture. He was just promoted to a third-class land lieutenant on March 15.

It is reported that Murata took leave the day before the incident, that is, March 23. He set off from his station at noon, took the highway bus and Shinkansen to Tokyo, and stayed in an Internet cafe. Murata confessed that he bought the knife at a large supermarket in Tokyo. The relevant knives were found in bushes on the grounds of the Chinese Embassy. The blade of the kitchen knife-like knife is said to be about 18 centimeters long.

Murata confessed that he planned to state his opinion to the Chinese ambassador and planned to commit suicide if he was rejected. The Japan Metropolitan Police Department is conducting a detailed investigation into this matter.

According to Murata's confession, he arrived at the scene about an hour before breaking into the Chinese Embassy and observed the surroundings. According to investigators, Murata probably broke in by climbing over a fence with barbed wire from the building next to the embassy.

The Japanese Ministry of Defense stated that on the day of the incident, March 24, he did not arrive at work at the specified time, and his unit tried to contact him.

The Situation In The Middle East Is Unclear, Japan Is On The Verge Of War In East Asia, And Is It Constantly Taking Actions Against China?

_中日高层会谈_中日高层历次互访历史

The stock market is a barometer of the economy, but high-level forums are the prelude to the situation in various countries. At a time when the situation in the Middle East has not yet become completely clear, East Asia is becoming more tense, and even violence is being used to solve problems.

And at the moment when China refuses to invite Japanese executives to participate in China's high-level forum, logically speaking, this is obviously a warning to Japan. But unexpectedly, Japan got worse. First, an active-duty officer of Japan’s Self-Defense Forces broke into the Chinese Embassy in Japan and threatened to kill Chinese diplomats in the name of God. Now more media said that Japan was going to downgrade China’s diplomacy. Is Japan going to show off?

Japanese surprise attack is coming

I thought it was to treat illnesses and save people, but unexpectedly, a so-called farmer and a snake played out. And at the moment when China is trying its best to exercise restraint, Japan is launching a counterattack against China.

中日高层历次互访历史__中日高层会谈

Just as the situation in the Middle East is intensifying and the international situation is becoming increasingly unclear, Japan, the scourge of East Asia, has begun to take action this time. Moreover, according to media reports, just after Sanae Takaichi completed his visit to the United States, the Japanese military showed signs of walking alone.

Not only did the active-duty officers of the Self-Defense Forces directly force their way into the Chinese Embassy in Japan, but they also threatened to kill Chinese diplomats. This is not a naked threat.

And our diplomats responded with what they called shocking. Because in our opinion, various extreme incidents will definitely occur in Japan, such as violent collisions and illegal murders. But unexpectedly, Japan's active-duty military officers directly began to threaten Chinese diplomats with force.

And this scene happened in the last century, when Li Hongzhang, a negotiator of the Qing Dynasty, was attacked by the Japanese. And this is what Japan calls the so-called werewolves. But now I don't even bother to change my equipment, I just go on my own. This is not walking alone.

中日高层历次互访历史_中日高层会谈_

It is obvious that the current internal situation in Japan is no longer as simple as militarism, but that Japan is rapidly developing in the direction of hating China. Now the military is acting alone and civilians are bumping into people, which will evolve into more violent attacks in the future. More importantly, Japan has a speculative mentality of taking small things to make big things happen.

Trump made this very clear during Takaichi Sanae's visit to the United States, that is, Japan knows best about surprise attacks.

This time, Japan will let us see it. And if it hadn't happened, who would have thought that such a thing would happen again today, a hundred years later.

Besides, we should be the ones taking revenge now. Why should it be Japan’s turn to take action against China? Since Japan uses the so-called gods as an excuse, isn't this a true cult? And since Japan does not have the strength to eradicate such a cult, for the sake of the safety of East Asians and China's security, China can also help eradicate it.

_中日高层会谈_中日高层历次互访历史

And in addition to this, there are reports that Japan will downgrade its diplomatic relations with China.

All we can say is that we have done our best at the moment. From regulation to attention, China's kindness has long been exhausted. Now that Japan wants to downgrade and confront China, for China, no matter how mild the method is, it will no longer work.

In this case, China should no longer be merciful. And more importantly, what you get in exchange for kindness now may not be gratitude, but repaying kindness with hatred. Japan is very good at this.

中日高层会谈__中日高层历次互访历史

Now that Japan has taken action, there is no need for us to worry. Whether it is for the past or the future, or even for the peace of East Asia, this cancer should be eradicated, and the best opportunity is now.

Wang Ou Officially Announced That He Is Single In The Live Broadcast Room, Responding To Romance Rumors And Detonating Domestic Entertainment For 48 Hours

Preface

Feng shui takes turns, no one will be spared by heaven.

From Deyun Club’s boyfriend He Jiuhua’s “three-hour secret meeting in the car” to the mysterious two-year-old girl’s “outpouring of motherly love”, to the “Light-in-the-Dark Script” scandal that shocked the entire Internet eight years ago.

Wang Ou's private life over the years has been exposed, and it turns out that Yang Mi did not lie.

The word "single" exploded domestic entertainment for 48 hours

On the evening of March 21, Wang Ou chatted with fans in the live broadcast room, and the barrage was full of messages asking about his relationship status.

Someone shouted directly, "Sister Ou, are you separated from He Jiuhua? Is the rumored baby yours?"

If it were other celebrities, they would most likely do Tai Chi, change the subject, or pretend not to see it, but Wang Ou didn't, and focused on playing straight to the end.

Her eyes were firm and calm, and she spoke clearly to the camera:

"I am also single. Being single means I am very comfortable and calm. I don't need to think about who I need to care about or worry about at home today."

There is no foreshadowing, no detours, just one sentence, directly bringing an unexpected end to the "Wang Ou and He Jiuhua romance" that has been passed down for nearly five years.

This sentence "single" is as powerful as a nuclear bomb.

The barrage in the live broadcast room was like a boiling pot, and netizens' discussions continued throughout the process.

Some people directly called "This is the most honorable exit for adults", while others questioned "Single single cannot explain the previous solid results."

What's even more amazing is that the timing of this official announcement is too subtle – the eleventh season of the variety show "Detective" in which she participated is currently airing. In the show, she plays the calm and sharp psychiatrist "Gull Psycho", which perfectly echoes the crisp single declaration in reality.

Just one month before the official announcement, on February 9, 2026, He Jiuhua was photographed driving skillfully back to Wang Ou's residence after an all-night party.

At that time, netizens were still joking, "The relationship between the two is as stable as an old dog, and good things are about to happen."

As a result, in just one month, he was severely slapped in the face by the real owner, and the speed of reversal was more exciting than riding a roller coaster.

Five years of scandals are all confirmed, the timeline remains a mystery

It was only 48 hours after Wang Ou officially announced that she was single, and the entire network went into "archaeological mode." The five-year scandal between her and He Jiuhua was uncovered. Every detail was "real". Looking back, it was a large-scale "slap in the face" scene.

Back in the fall of 2021, Wang Ou had just become famous with "Sister Lang 2" and his career had rejuvenated. He was photographed using the same "WANGO" couple mobile phone case with Deyun Club actor He Jiuhua.

Not long after, they were photographed walking back to the hotel together late at night, holding hands, and romance rumors spread.

Both parties never admitted or denied that this "silent love" directly pushed the scandal to a semi-public state.

In 2022, He Jiuhua attended Wang Ou's sister's wedding as a "family member". He sat at the main table, followed with heavy gifts, and exchanged cups with relatives and friends. Almost everyone present that day agreed that this was a "quasi-couple."

On the stage of Deyun Society, his co-stars also frequently criticized his relationship status, openly and secretly teasing "there is a situation". This relationship has long been tacitly understood in the eyes of the outside world.

In July 2023, a paparazzi report was thrown into the public opinion field like a bomb – He Jiuhua was photographed spending several hours alone with a strange woman in a car late at night. During the period, he behaved intimately, but then drove back to Wang Ou's residence.

Speculations about "cheating during pregnancy" were aroused. During those days, countless pairs of eyes were staring at Wang Ou's social account, waiting for her to speak out, but she said nothing.

At the end of 2025, Wang Ou was photographed taking a little girl about two years old to the park. She tightly held the anti-lost sling, played with the child on the swing, fed her, and behaved in an intimate manner unlike other people.

The topic "Wang Ou and He Jiuhua gave birth to a daughter in a hidden marriage" immediately became a hot search topic.

Wang Ou Studio quickly clarified, saying that the little girl was "my cousin's mixed-race daughter", but did not give more details. Netizens did not buy it at all, and the speculation intensified.

Some people joked that this was "removing the father and leaving the son", hoping that the person involved could give a clearer timeline.

Netizens also compiled a collection of the two of them in the same frame. From 2021 to 2026, there were intimate scenes of the two of them every few months, eating hot pot and visiting the vegetable market together. He Jiuhua drove into Wang Ou's community, and the security guard did not need to register, just like a "permanent resident".

What is even more confusing is that when He Jiuhua appeared on variety shows in 2024 and 2025, he made it clear twice that he was "unmarried", which caused a huge logical conflict with the cohabitation behavior that had lasted for many years, making the relationship completely confusing.

The melon-eating and teasing faction directly shouted to He Jiuhua, don't pretend to be dead, come out and say something, five years of scandal, one sentence ends with single, this melon is lonely.

Yang Mi reiterates his old words: "I believed in Kaiwei" back then, but now it has become a contrast

As the popularity of Wang Ou's official single announcement continues to grow, many netizens have uncovered the "Light-in-the-Dark Script" incident nine years ago.

Yang Mi's response back then has now become the focus of comparison on the entire Internet, and people can't help but sigh, "It turns out that Yang Mi didn't lie at the beginning."

In November 2016, "Mainland's number one paparazzi" Zhuo Wei exposed a video, which directly pushed Wang Ou to the forefront.

At that time, Wang Ou and Liu Kaiwei were filming "The Wilderness". Zhuo Wei's team photographed Liu Kaiwei entering Wang Ou's hotel room late at night for three consecutive nights. Each time, he went late at night and left at two or three in the morning.

Among them, on October 15th, the lights in the room were on when Hawick Lau entered. When he came out, the lights were turned off. Netizens gave this incident a very ironic name: "Turn off the lights and watch the luminous script."

After the incident, Liu Kaiwei responded that the two were just reviewing the script in the room. At that time, Yang Mi was in her prime. Faced with doubts from the entire Internet, she responded with a smile and said, "I believe in Hawick." Her tone was calm and firm, which instantly appeased public opinion.

But no one knew that she was sitting alone on the balcony and after reading all the leaked photos, the most painful thing was not the betrayal, but the discovery that they had been living in two worlds for a long time.

Nine years later, Wang Ou said "I am also single" in the same calm tone during the live broadcast, which formed a wonderful echo with Yang Mi's "I believe in Kaiwei" back then.

Netizens have been discussing whether Yang Mi's "trust" back then was true trust or helpless dignity?

And now that Wang Ou is "single", is he really comfortable and calm, or does he have another hidden agenda?

Some people say that both Wang Ou and Yang Mi are "sober-minded" in domestic entertainment. They face public opinion without entangled or defensive, and focus on their own lives and careers.

Wang Ou specifically mentioned her work during the live broadcast of her official single announcement. She said that she had filmed six works in the past year, including spy dramas of the Republic of China, realistic dramas, costume dramas, and historical biographical dramas. She also appeared in the eleventh season of "Detective" and founded a personal clothing brand. Her focus has long been on her career.

Some people also think that the two experiences are essentially different. Back then, Yang Mi faced a crisis of trust in her marriage, while now Wang Ou is facing the end of years of scandals. Yang Mi's "belief" hides too many unspoken grievances.

Wang Ou's "singleness" is his active definition of his life, and he does not need to explain it to anyone.

Official announcements are the battlefield, and scrapping becomes a daily routine

Wang Ou's official single announcement is not an exception, but a microcosm of the emotional topics of domestic entertainment stars. Nowadays, the traffic code of domestic entertainment has long changed – the official announcement of being single is a battlefield, and gossiping has become a daily routine.

At the beginning of 2026, the first wave of love affairs in domestic entertainment ended with a "reversal at the speed of light".

The scene of Zhou Qi and Xiang Hanzhi's cohabitation hug was still lingering, and the revelation of internet celebrity Si Xiaodi's chat records followed soon after. The overlapping timelines quickly triggered the "cheating" controversy.

Just 24 hours later, Xiang Hanzhi's agency officially announced that he was "single and working hard", pushing this love farce to a climax.

On March 5, Golden Horse actress Ma Sichun frankly admitted that she was single on Yang Tianzhen's podcast "Innocent Not Innocent" and officially ended her five-year controversial relationship with Penicillin band lead singer Zhang Zhexuan. The comment area instantly became a "New Year's Eve scene", and the screen was full of congratulations.

Netizens have discussed that Ma Sichun finally got rid of the label of "love brain" and became his own light.

These cases all have one thing in common: a star’s official announcement of being single is bound to be accompanied by the full exposure of past scandals and solid evidence. Netizens are keen to dig up timelines, analyze details, and discuss the true intentions of the parties involved. The celebrities’ silence or direct responses will further promote public opinion fermentation.

summary

Only 48 hours after Wang Ou officially announced that he was single, five years of scandals, suspicions of having a daughter from a secret marriage, and timeline conflicts were all revealed.

Yang Mi's words about some people's retribution come quickly, which also tore Wang Ou's dignity to pieces.

Today, when everyone is a detective, any attempt to cover up the truth will be magnified and interpreted.

Rather than going to great lengths to create a character, it is better to be honest with the public – after all, the audience can accept imperfect truth, but cannot forgive a perfect lie.

How will this storm end?

Is it because the capital is forced to clean up the situation, or is Wang Ou's team choosing to deal with it coldly?

Do you think Wang Ou can escape unscathed this time?

Australia Arrests Man Who Plans To Go To Myanmar To Join War, Many Countries Take Action To Severely Punish Those Who Participate In War

Myanmar's long-lasting civil war is no longer a local conflict in the region, but has become a sensitive area that global law enforcement agencies are closely watching. Recently, the Australian police took action and arrested a 33-year-old man who planned to go to Myanmar to participate in the civil war. The professional military equipment he carried with him confirmed his plan to go to Myanmar to participate in the war.

行李箱藏军用装备!澳大利亚逮捕33岁男子,欲赴缅参战!全球已严打_行李箱藏军用装备!澳大利亚逮捕33岁男子,欲赴缅参战!全球已严打_

This is not an isolated case. Many countries have taken action one after another, sending a clear signal: going to Myanmar to participate in the war is a globally recognized legal red line, and anyone who touches it will be severely punished.

You will be targeted as soon as you enter the country! Night vision goggles and other professional military products were found in the suitcase

According to Australian media reports, the arrested man was named Attilio Ivor Philippe Dalavale. The Australian police recently raided his Rockhampton residence with a search warrant and captured him on the spot.

This arrest had been foreshadowed for a long time, and clues had emerged as early as January 2026. At that time, the man returned to Australia from Thailand and aroused the high alert of the anti-terrorism department when he entered the country at Brisbane International Airport.

Customs and police opened and inspected the suitcase on the spot, and found night vision goggles and multiple pieces of professional military equipment in the suitcase. This abnormal situation immediately led the Queensland Joint Anti-Terrorism Team to list it as a key surveillance target and launch a comprehensive investigation.

After in-depth investigation, the police obtained conclusive evidence: the man attempted to enter Myanmar through illegal channels, contact the local armed forces, and directly participate in the Myanmar civil war. The Australian Broadcasting Corporation confirmed that the authorities have prosecuted him for the felony of "illegal participation in aggressive overseas military operations".

Currently, the man is still detained by the police and the case is under further investigation.

Multi-country simultaneous crackdown! Foreign war participants in Myanmar are arrested one after another

This Australian man is not the only foreigner trying to go to Myanmar to get involved in the civil war. Recently, many countries around the world have launched simultaneous crackdowns.

Just this month, India also took severe measures to arrest eight foreigners at once, including citizens of the United States, Ukraine, Slovakia and other countries. Without exception, these people were accused of illegally entering Myanmar and participating in local military conflicts.

The successive arrests clearly show that the international community's attitude towards its citizens' participation in Myanmar's civil war has changed from acquiescence to zero tolerance.

Whether driven by profit, adventure, or other purposes, transnational participation in armed conflicts within other countries has touched the bottom line of national security in many countries and has become an illegal act that law enforcement agencies in various countries focus on cracking down on.

The legal red line is clear! Participating in overseas conflicts will face severe penalties

The laws of various countries have strict prohibitions on citizens' participation in overseas military conflicts. Australia's Criminal Code clearly stipulates that its citizens are prohibited from participating in overseas hostilities and aggressive military activities. Violators will be sentenced to long-term imprisonment.

The situation in Myanmar has continued to be turbulent since 2021, with frequent conflicts between government forces and armed ethnic groups, and the fighting continues to escalate. Some foreigners were tempted by the high salaries of mercenaries, bewitched by extreme ideologies, or simply had a sense of adventure, and attempted to sneak into Myanmar to join the war.

However, this kind of behavior violates not only international law and Myanmar's own laws, but also the laws of our own country. Once investigated and punished, he will definitely face imprisonment without any exception.

Important reminder: stay away from the flames of war and do not try the law on your own

The civil war in Myanmar is by no means an "adventurer's game", nor is it an area that one can venture into at will. I hereby solemnly remind you:

Resolutely refrain from participating in any form of civil war, armed conflict and related military operations in other countries;

Strictly abide by the laws of your country and overseas countries, and do not violate criminal laws and pay the price of freedom due to impulse or adventure;

People in turbulent and conflict-prone areas such as Myanmar must increase their awareness of security and stay away from warring areas and all sensitive military activities.

From Australia's arrest of men who went to fight in Myanmar to India's severe punishment of foreign war-related personnel, the overall tightening of global law enforcement supervision is the clearest warning:

The civil war in Myanmar is not outside the law. Anyone who attempts to join the war across borders will be severely punished by the law. Respecting the law and staying away from conflicts are the most basic responsibilities to yourself and your family.

The Death Of Internet Celebrity Teacher Zhang Xuefeng Attracted Attention, The High Incidence Of Sudden Death Among Young People And The Use Of AEDs

Recently, the news of the death of "Internet celebrity teacher" Zhang Xuefeng has aroused the whole society's attention on topics related to sudden death. The high incidence of sudden death among young and middle-aged people has also attracted more people's attention. Cardiology outpatient clinics in many hospitals have seen a surge in the number of young patients seeking treatment recently. Most of the consultations are related to chest tightness, palpitations and other symptoms; some patients also seek medical advice related to exercise.

Professor Ge Junbo, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and director of the Department of Cardiology at Zhongshan Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University, recently talked in an interview about why young people are more likely to suffer from sudden cardiac death. He said: "Why are there more sudden cardiac deaths in young people? Because between the ages of 40 and 55, we call it the vulnerable period of the heart. Unlike chronic angina in the elderly, the body will establish collateral circulation after a long period of 'pre-adaptation'. If there are unstable plaques in young people, and a sudden increase in blood pressure (such as strenuous exercise, trauma, sudden mood swings, etc.), plaque rupture will induce thrombosis, which will lead to the occurrence of malignant arrhythmias."

According to data cited by Ge Junbo, approximately 540,000 people die from sudden cardiac death in China every year. "Sudden cardiac death generally refers to the heart suddenly stopping beating and pumping blood." He explained, "But sudden cardiac death also has a prelude. After a brief precordial discomfort, ventricular tachycardia (ventricular tachycardia) and subsequent ventricular fibrillation (ventricular fibrillation) occur. This is why we call for the installation of an AED (external defibrillator)."

Although AEDs are installed in many public places, the actual usage rate is not high. On the one hand, there are very few people who have received training in the use of AEDs. On the other hand, it is also because the legal and ethical mechanisms are not yet perfect, which makes people who do good deeds have concerns.

In this regard, Ge Junbo said: "At the current stage of our country's economic development, food delivery boys are everywhere, but it is difficult to find AED training community service volunteers established with a lot of money." He suggested that the power of food delivery delivery boys or Didi drivers can be mobilized to establish a broader first aid network.

"I suggest that we can use the power of these people to train them and make AED equipment flow." Ge Junbo said, "The food delivery people, couriers or drivers who receive training can get some subsidies because they contribute the driver's delivery service time, but this has greater value to the entire society and can form an emergency network in the future."

Ge Junbo's call has also received positive response. According to the relevant person in charge of the Medical Emergency Department of the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, while the government continues to promote basic configuration and secure the bottom line of public safety, it is also guiding more social forces to participate in the construction of the first aid system.

The relevant person in charge of the Shanghai Red Cross also said: "Courier boys, takeaway riders, and online ride-hailing drivers, these figures who shuttle through the city's nerve endings, are being included in the key training scope of the first aid system."

China Business News reporter learned that in December last year, the China Red Cross Foundation, Didi Charity and Shenzhen One Foundation jointly launched the "Didi Vehicle-mounted AED Volunteer Service" project, recruiting a group of online ride-hailing drivers who already hold ambulance certificates and have rescue capabilities as volunteers, and equipped their operating vehicles with vehicle-mounted AED equipment, thereby transforming the online ride-hailing volunteer service team members into mobile urban emergency rescue network nodes.

Liu Qin, a social first aid expert and director of the American Heart Association, believes that if AEDs can be "mobile", they will have great social value. Liu Qin encouraged some private cars to be equipped with AEDs: "On the one hand, vehicle-mounted AEDs will help improve the public's awareness of first aid. In addition to the car owners themselves using the equipment, it will also encourage more people to understand and learn first aid skills; on the other hand, when AEDs are temporarily unavailable in some public places, if nearby vehicles happen to be equipped with the equipment, it is possible to complete defibrillation within the golden time and improve the success rate of treatment."

Online Lending Industry Welcomes 'strongest Supervision', Low Interest Rates May Hide Traps Of High Interest Rates

"Low-interest loan, approved instantly, no mortgage required, monthly interest rate 0.8%"…

Online loan advertisements can be seen everywhere, but the temptation of low-interest online loans may actually be a high-interest trap. Some lending institutions only advertise a monthly interest rate of 0.8%, but fail to mention that borrowers also have to pay numerous channel service fees, guarantee fees, and even mandatory bundled account insurance premiums.

The good news is that regulation is cracking down on high-interest online loans. On March 15, the State Administration of Financial Supervision and the People's Bank of China announced the official release of the "Regulations on Expressed Comprehensive Financing Costs for Personal Loan Business" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"), which will come into effect on August 1, 2026. At the same time, many well-known loan assistance institutions were interviewed by the State Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau.

The online lending industry is ushering in the “strongest supervision”.

The online lending industry is ushering in institutional changes

Online loans, simply put, are borrowing money through mobile apps or websites. Compared with bank loans, online loans have lower thresholds, faster procedures and no mortgage required, but the interest rates are usually higher and the impact on credit inquiry records is more frequent.

At present, the mainstream model of online lending is a loan assistance model led by licensed financial institutions (such as consumer finance companies, online small loans) and Internet platforms – the platform uses traffic and technological advantages to be responsible for customer acquisition and risk control assistance, and licensed institutions such as banks provide funds and bear core credit risks.

However, while providing financing convenience, the online lending industry still faces high pressure from complaints due to continued chaos. The "Notice on Financial Consumption Complaints in 2025" released by the State Administration of Financial Supervision and Administration shows that the number of complaints related to online loans nationwide in 2025 will reach 1.236 million, of which complaints about collection of private numbers accounted for 68.7%, and complaints about high interest rates and cut-off interest accounted for 21.3%, becoming the two most prominent chaos.

Faced with long-standing industry problems, regulatory authorities took action.

The "Regulations" that came into effect on August 1 this year will implement a "comprehensive financing cost explicit system." The key point is that institutions must fully disclose the interest fee structure and charging standards, and uniformly disclose the annualized comprehensive costs; at the same time, it is strictly prohibited to charge any additional loan-related interest fees beyond the express items. This means that supervision has more detailed requirements for the front-end marketing and interest fee disclosure of the online lending industry.

This directly refers to the "split charging" routine of some online loans. China News Weekly searched for "decapitation interest" (interest deducted from the principal in advance) on the Black Cat complaint platform. The number of related complaints was nearly 219,000, and the total number of complaints related to "routine loans" reached 77,000.

After sorting through the complaints, China News Weekly found that the interest rate calculation systems of many online loan-related products are complex, making it difficult for ordinary users to accurately calculate the cost when borrowing, and often only notice abnormalities during the repayment process. For example, some lending institutions only advertise a monthly interest rate of 0.8%, but do not mention that in addition to this interest, borrowers also have to pay so-called channel service fees of 2% to 5%, a guarantee fee of 0.3%, and even mandatory bundled account insurance premiums.

There were complaints on the Black Cat platform that users borrowed 50,000 yuan and 19,800 yuan from a certain platform respectively, and when they repaid the loans in 12 installments, they discovered that the platform had charged an additional high "value-added service fee" without notifying them in advance (a loan of 50,000 yuan was overcharged by 11,250 yuan, a loan of 19,800 yuan was overcharged by 4,455 yuan). If the complaint details are true, the combined annualized cost of the two transactions exceeds 40% when the charges are bundled.

The promulgation of the "Regulations" will effectively curb various illegal activities such as hidden charges, splitting of interest and fees, and disguised hikes in interest rates in the online lending industry at the institutional level.

Wang Pengbo, chief analyst of Broadcom Consulting, explained to China News Weekly that the "Regulations" introduced this time aim to build a full-chain supervision system. The "Regulations" require online loans to use "pop-up windows + mandatory reading + confirmation" and offline "signature confirmation" express forms. This is a very important step. It can force institutions to reduce the problem of consumers handling loans without knowing and being charged extra fees from the processing link, and strengthen financial consumers' right to know and independent decision-making.

This undoubtedly shattered the "calculations" of some online lending companies.

A person in the loan assistance industry told China News Weekly that in the past, credit enhancement service fees and guarantee fees were often collected separately by cooperative institutions and were not included in the public interest rates. They have long been a relatively hidden charging method in the industry, but this supervision has clearly blocked this path.

Profit margins have been significantly compressed

In fact, since 2025, regulatory authorities have continuously strengthened their efforts to rectify high-interest loan assistance businesses. Especially since the implementation of the "Notice on Strengthening the Management of Internet Loan Assistance Business of Commercial Banks to Improve the Quality and Efficiency of Financial Services" (referred to as the "New Loan Assistance Regulations") in October 2025, the industry has undergone fundamental changes.

China News Weekly combed through the business models disclosed in the past financial reports of leading loan assistance platforms and found that loan assistance companies in the past mainly used a business model of loan assistance and self-operated lending in parallel – under the joint loan model, its licensed institutions and banks jointly contribute capital and share risks; the self-operated model obtains interest income through the issuance of on-balance sheet loans with its own and borrowed funds.

However, the "New Loan Assistance Regulations" clearly require banks to conduct independent risk control, prohibit loan assistance institutions from taking full responsibility for repayment, and comprehensively regulate the upper limit of comprehensive financing costs.

Under the new regulations, "whoever lends money is responsible" and banks must conduct independent risk control. At the same time, loan-assisted platforms’ evasive behavior is prohibited, and the upper limit of comprehensive financing costs is fully regulated. This makes the past "low interest, high service fee" online loan routine completely out of order, and the actual burden of the borrower is locked within a reasonable range.

More importantly, according to this requirement, the annual interest rate corresponding to the comprehensive financing cost of the loan assistance business (loan interest + credit enhancement service fee + loan-related service fee) will not exceed 24%. High-interest customers with interest rates higher than 24% are precisely a very important source of profit for the platform.

Ji Shaofeng, an expert in the field of small and micro finance, analyzed China News Weekly. It is estimated that the capital cost of most consumer finance and loan assistance platforms is 3% to 5%, the traffic cost is 4% to 5%, the risk cost is 7% to 9%, and the operating cost is 4% to 6%. At an annualized interest rate of 24%, the profit margin is very limited.

Ji Shaofeng further pointed out that from the perspective of industry structure, among the current online loan balance of about 5 trillion yuan, the 24%-36% high interest rate range is about 800 billion yuan, accounting for 16%, and is mainly concentrated in the middle waist and below platforms. These high-interest businesses now have only two options: adjust to meet compliance standards or withdraw from the market.

"This means that under the new loan assistance regulations, the business model of mid-level loan assistance institutions that rely on underwriting, joint lending, and capital-heavy profit sharing is rapidly collapsing. A large number of them will exit within a year, and financing guarantee companies will be liquidated in batches." Ji Shaofeng pointed out.

Another loan assistance company insider revealed to China News Weekly that since the implementation of the new regulations in August, high-interest loan assistance business with annualized interest rates exceeding 24% has completely disappeared. Previously, the interest rate ceiling generally implemented in the industry was 36%, and profit margins have been significantly compressed. "Not only is profit margins compressed, but some products require compliance transformation, which directly leads to general pressure on industry performance in the fourth quarter of 2025."

Looking at the leading companies in the loan assistance industry listed on the US stock market, the operating pain of the loan assistance industry is very obvious.

Qifu Technology's fourth quarter financial report for 2025 shows that the current revenue was 4.093 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 8.7%, and the net profit was 1.016 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 46.8%. Among them, the core platform service net income was only 661 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 58.5%. Both light capital loan matching service fees and referral service fees experienced deep declines.

Lexin's total operating income for 2025 was 13.152 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 7.4%. In the fourth quarter, the amount of loan origination was 50 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 3.8%. Traditional credit facility service income was significantly affected by pricing compliance and model transformation.

Xinye Technology’s transaction volume in the fourth quarter of 2025 was only 42.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 24.8%. The loan balance at the end of the reporting period was 70.9 billion yuan, a decrease of 6.2 billion yuan from 77.1 billion yuan at the end of the third quarter. Correspondingly, the company's revenue in the fourth quarter was 3.024 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 12.5%; net profit was only 416 million yuan, a 44% drop from the year's high of 750 million yuan in the second quarter.

In the third quarter of 2025, Xiaoying Technology's revenue and net profit both declined quarter-on-quarter, with single-quarter net profit falling 20.2% quarter-on-quarter. At the same time, the 31-60 day overdue rate increased from 1.02% in the same period last year to 1.85%, and the 91-180 day overdue rate rose to 3.52%. Risk provisions and asset impairment pressures increased simultaneously.

The shuffle continues

This time, the strongest regulatory package for online lending is still continuing.

Since the beginning of 2026, multiple departments have issued a number of policy documents one after another, forming a policy package. The new regulations cover the entire industry including collection behavior, interest rate ceilings, platform qualifications, debt negotiation, etc., delineate rigid red lines, and clarify regulatory standards, aiming to thoroughly rectify industry chaos and promote the compliance transformation of the online lending industry.

On March 13, the State Administration of Financial Supervision issued a notice saying that in response to the issue of Internet loan assistance business, the State Administration of Financial Supervision was conducting interviews with the operating agencies of five platforms, including Fenqile, Qifu IOU, Youwodai, Yixianghua, and Credit Fei. The operating entities behind them are Lexin, Qifu Technology, Jiayin Technology, Yirenzhike, Xinfei Technology, etc.

Henan Is Ancient And Rich But Breeds Trendy Brands. How Did Pang Donglai And Others Become Popular?

You may have never been to Henan, but you may have drank Mixue Bingcheng, bought Labubu, and heard about Pangdonglai.

For a long time, Henan has given people the impression of being simple and profound. Four of the eight ancient capitals of China are here. “When you reach out and touch it, you can see the Spring and Autumn Culture; when you step on it, you can see the bricks and tiles of Qin and Han Dynasties.”

How does simplicity create "trendy brands" and lead new consumption? How can the Central Plains, a country where dynasties once competed for power, be called "China" now?

From "sincerity" to "achievement", fireworks hide the original intention

When visiting Pangdonglai, many people feel that "the service is not very good and the prices are not cheap. Why is it so popular?" The story of a pack of bean sprouts may be able to answer the question.

In order to sell bean sprouts for 1.8 yuan, Pang Donglai built a factory. The reason is that procurement found that most sources of goods have small production scales, difficult to unify standards, and even fail to pass the test.

"The central kitchen with an investment of 570 million yuan produces many livelihood foods such as bean sprouts. The profit is meager. What the company wants is that customers can eat with confidence," a staff member said. At Pangdonglai, you taste fruits and vegetables before buying them. Half-eaten watermelons and used electrical appliances can be returned if you are not satisfied. These are not temporary gimmicks, but standards that we adhere to every day.

8,000 years ago, the ancestors of Jiahu lit the fire of farming civilization. The seeds of intensive cultivation and accumulation were planted from then on.

Before Fatonglai became popular, it was well-known in the local area; before Mixue Bingcheng opened across the country, it had been working quietly in Henan for more than 10 years. There is no rush for success, but only down-to-earth "slow growth" through intensive farming. Thousands of years of farming have cultivated the steadiness and stability of Henan people and given them the down-to-earth gene.

From "dynasty" to "tide", cultural context shows new face

The great river flows for thousands of years. The land of the Central Plains is riding on the east wind of the times, breaking out of the industry with cultural renewal, and bursting with vitality and unique charm in the new era.

Tang Palace Night Banquet and Luo Shen Shui Fu became popular all over the Internet once they were launched. It's Henan again, which made Chinese people exclaim: "Traditional culture can still be expressed in this way, so amazing."

Only in Henan Drama City, a big drama is taking place.

"While the wheat seeds are there, people will not leave; if the land is not barren, the family will not be destroyed!"

"Why did Chinese civilization originate here? Because there is food here. Why has the civilization here continued for thousands of years? Because there is food here."

The actor bowed to caress the wheat, knelt down to protect the grain, and his old monologue was choked with sobs. The lights and shadows in the theater suddenly dimmed, and holographic technology restored the sad scene of people hoarding food and guarding their homes in the barren land during the famine years. The audience held their breath in silence. "It's so shocking. The steamed buns in my hands feel even more delicious after watching it. Wasting food is really letting down the ancestors and desecrating the original intention." Ms. Deng, a tourist from Chongqing, said with tears in her eyes.

With 21 theaters and nearly 800 minutes of non-repetitive plays, only Henan Drama Fantasy City has become a must-see for in-depth tours of Henan. In the past five years since its opening, more than 58 million people have watched the show, of which over 80% are from outside the province.

In the Yingtianmen Scenic Area, if you put on VR glasses, the prosperity of Luoyang City in the Sui and Tang Dynasties will unfold before your eyes: the Luoshui River is full of water, the Grand Canal is full of merchant ships, the Nanshi City is bustling with people, the sound of camel bells of Hu merchants interweaves with the shouts of wine shops, and you can travel back to that prosperous era that ranked first in the world in one second.

Connecting the past and present, Henan cultural tourism breaks the old model and revives a culture that has been dormant for thousands of years. The ancient city of Luoyi dances in the sky, the Song Dynasty never sleeps, the Song Dynasty is flying, and tourists in Han costumes shuttle back and forth, as if they have traveled through time and space; the archaeological blind box and XR immersive exhibition of the Henan Museum allow cultural relics to be touched and felt out of the showcase. The heavy history takes off its weight and enters public life with a light attitude.

During the 2026 Spring Festival holiday, Henan received 62.81 million domestic tourists and generated tourism revenue of 37.63 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.1% and 9.6% respectively. Innovate cultural tourism formats, revitalize millennium cultural context, and meet ancient civilizations with new trendy experiences. Henan has realized a wonderful transformation from cultural heritage to development flow.

From "middle" to "middle" everything is revitalized

If you have been to Henan, you must have heard Henan people say "中".

Open the map, Henan is just like the "heart" of China. Once upon a time, this was Zhongzhou, the Central Plains, "between heaven and earth". Today, it is a logistics hub that connects domestic and foreign countries and radiates to the east, middle and west.

400 boxes of Norwegian king crabs were loaded into the flight's temperature-controlled cargo hold and flown to China with -2°C sea water chill. 8.5 hours later, the flight landed in Zhengzhou. When the cargo door slowly rose, the king crab was still gently paddling its claws. The speed of "yesterday's Nordic deep sea, today's Chinese dining table" has set a new fresh transportation record.

A king crab's cross-ocean journey outlines a "global-Zhengzhou-national" trade trajectory, reflecting the surging vitality of Henan's global trading. In 2025, the annual cargo and mail throughput of Zhengzhou Airport will exceed 1 million tons. More than 70 all-cargo routes connect 32 countries and 73 cities.

"Zhong" means China Unicom's open mind to connect the world.

The "meter"-shaped high-speed railway has brought the "circle of friends" across the country closer, and the four Silk Roads "air, land and sea" have transformed Henan from an inland hinterland into an open highland. From here, batches of "Made in China" products fly to the world; fresh fruits, maternal and infant products and other global goodies are delivered to the whole country from here.

In the fertile fields of the Central Plains, wheat seedlings stand up and joint, bursting with vitality. Photo by People's Daily reporter Shang Mingzhen

"Medium" is a firm commitment to shoulder the important task of ensuring food security.

In the Central Plains in March, the green fields are thousands of miles away, and the wheat seedlings stand upright and are full of vitality. Not far away, the intelligent noodle production line is operating at full speed, and 10 tons of high-quality noodles per hour are continuously rolling off the production line and being shipped to all parts of the country.

As a major agricultural province, Henan's grain output has remained stable at more than 130 billion kilograms for nine consecutive years. With 1/16 of the country's arable land, it contributes 1/10 of the country's grain and 1/4 of its wheat. Noodles, dumplings, glutinous rice balls, hot and sour noodles, and the central plains granary continue to enrich people's tables. Henan has firmly maintained the "Chinese rice bowl", making the confidence of "having food in hand and not panic in mind" even more solid.

"China" is Henan's responsibility as a great power.

Today, shield boring machines made in Henan are exported to more than 30 countries and regions around the world, using Chinese intelligence to demonstrate the power of "China": the world's largest diameter shaft boring machine "Qiming" leads the industry in intelligence; "Variable No. 1" surprises the industry with the world's first stepless diameter reduction technology.

In 2025, Henan's manufacturing industry will accelerate its transformation and upgrading. The added value of high-tech manufacturing above designated size increased by 16.6% year-on-year, 7.2 percentage points higher than the national rate, driving the province's GDP to grow by 5.6% year-on-year, higher than the national growth rate. Economically large provinces firmly play the leading role.

"Middle" is the surging kinetic energy of digital empowerment.

Not long ago, the core node of the national supercomputing Internet was completed and launched in Zhengzhou, and the full-stack self-developed 400G lossless high-speed network was launched. From a transportation hub to a computing power hub, Henan has taken the initiative to seize the digital development highland, shoulder the important task of dispatching national computing power, and become an important source of domestic AI innovation.

South of the river, the tide rises from the Central Plains. Here, there is a rich heritage of thousands of years of civilization, a vibrant integration of culture and tourism, and a warm texture of people's livelihood fireworks.

In heaven and earth, everything is in it. Here, the intelligent manufacturing power of great powers, the open mind of connecting the world, and the surging potential of digital empowerment are intertwined, painting a moving picture of the new era.

This is Henan.
