The Japanese government has decided to officially implement the "Reward System for Reporting Illegal Foreigners Staying" from fiscal year 2026 (starting April 1), and the first pilot area is Ibaraki Prefecture. Any whistleblower who provides effective clues to the police or the Immigration and Immigration Agency and successfully leads to the arrest of an illegal stayer
