It is called Targeted Poverty Alleviation, but it is actually an illegal pyramid scheme with tens of billions of yuan involved. It adopts the method of "pulling people's heads" to expand its membership, attracting more than 5 million people in a year; under the aura of charity, more than one billion yuan has quietly entered Zhang Tianming's personal life. People's pockets… Recently, the Ministry of Public Security organized an investigation into the suspected large-scale pyramid scheme case of "Shanxinhui", and investigated and dealt with criminal issues such as Zhang Tianming, the legal representative of Shenzhen Shanxinhui Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., for organizing and leading pyramid schemes in accordance with the law.
Starting in May 2016, Zhang Tianming and others promoted "poverty alleviation, wealth sharing and symbiosis" and planned, manipulated and developed people to join the "Shanxinhui". Up to now, "Shanxinhui" has more than 5 million registered members, with members all over the country.
The police handling the case revealed its pyramid scheme nature by analyzing its model. Participants can activate a membership account by purchasing a "good seed" from the recommender at a price of 300 yuan each. After the member account is activated, you can earn high profits by investing funds and developing downlines.
"This is a scam that spreads rumors. Once the offline development slows down and the capital inflow is less than the payment volume, the capital chain will break and the system will collapse." The policeman handling the case told reporters.
As of June 1 this year, the member fund gap reached more than 9.2 billion yuan, involving more than 2.3 million members.
"Poverty alleviation" and "mutual help and symbiosis" are the slogans of "Shanxinhui" when developing members, claiming that all money is used for poverty alleviation and charity. But in fact, in addition to the capital cycle of "old people eating new people", a large amount of funds from "Shanxinhui" members entered the private pockets of Zhang Tianming and others in a similar way.
The police handling the case cited some examples to reporters. For example, organizing condolences to poor households does not cost much, but it has a huge impact and is widely publicized when recruiting new members. In the name of assistance, some poor households are even developed into members.
The policeman handling the case said that behind the "fake poverty alleviation" was the "real money-making" of Zhang Tianming and others. Most of the fees involved in the case, such as "Good Seeds", "Good Heart Coins" and "Unfreeze Fees", were directly transferred by members to Zhang Tianming's multiple personal accounts. Zhang Tianming made more than one billion yuan in profits in a year, and other key members also had varying degrees of illegal gains.
