The operation started at about 13:30 that day. The police found 9 simple buildings about 13 kilometers northwest of Tachileik Town and 3 kilometers southwest of Bangu Village, including gambling operation rooms, dormitories (with kitchens), warehouses, sentry posts and other facilities. The gambling den was 120 feet long and 60 feet wide and contained a large number of electronic equipment.

Among the 126 foreigners captured at the scene, including 125 Chinese citizens (122 men and 3 women) and 1 Laotian woman, they all entered the country illegally.

The police seized a large number of electronic equipment used for online gambling fraud at the scene, including 120 monitors, 97 hosts, 46 all-in-one computers, 12 StarLink devices, 12 wireless routers, 105 mobile phones of various types, and 1 generator.
