On April 8, the Information Office of the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government held a press conference in Wenzhou City, the province, announcing that the 15th China International Garden Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Garden Expo") will officially open in Wenzhou on April 15.
With the theme of "Poetry and Painting of Mountains and Seas, Sharing of Green Life", this Garden Expo focuses on the five major concepts of "People's Garden Expo, International Garden Expo, Pioneer Garden Expo, Cultural Garden Expo, and City-wide Garden Expo" and builds an exhibition garden system of "1 main venue + 13 sub-venues + 49 exposition points" and the main venue "1 theme park + 34 urban exhibition gardens + 6 theme exhibition areas".
It is worth mentioning that the 34 city exhibition gardens include 11 international city exhibition gardens. IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects) has settled its theme exhibition park in China for the first time and permanently established the "IFLA International Cooperation and Exchange Center" to build a fixed platform for high-end international exchanges.

Looking at them, the Uzbekistan Exhibition Garden outlines the charm of Central Asian Islamic culture with a mosaic facade, and the British Exhibition Garden presents a British style with six-color interwoven exterior wall tiles… It is reported that the urban exhibition garden design plans of seven countries, including Uzbekistan, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Thailand, and Canada, were donated by overseas Wenzhou overseas Chinese groups and representatives of overseas Chinese businessmen.
"Overseas Chinese in Wenzhou actively responded and actively participated. 12 overseas Chinese were hired as ambassadors for the International Garden Expo. Some of them flew back to China six times to communicate on the design plan, and they also followed up the construction progress in real time through 'Overseas Video'." Zhang Wenjie, deputy secretary of the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, introduced.
Letting the results of the grand event benefit thousands of people is the starting point and goal of the Wenzhou Garden Expo. To this end, this Garden Expo focuses on serving and benefiting the people, advocating "Garden Expo for Common People" and "Garden Expo for the City", with 13 branch venues and 49 exposition points to help people see greenery through windows and enter the park.

At the "Mingshan Park" branch venue in Yueqing, "mountains, water, fields, and gardens" are intertwined, showing the wonders of natural history and the elegance of humanities between mountains and seas; at the "Sea Garden" branch venue in Dongtou, a 25-kilometer theme loop and a 5-kilometer boutique tour connect the hundreds of miles of coast, Island reef scenery, cultural scenery and Garden Expo garden landscape are connected in a chain… In the main venue, the north and south parks total more than 2,000 square meters of shared lawns, plus parent-child playgrounds and fitness trails, enough to become a "gym" and "reception room" for the people.
"In terms of sustainable operations after the exhibition, the Garden Expo will scientifically transform the functions of the park in accordance with the differentiated positioning idea of 'the North Park is full of cultural flavor, and the South Park is the main ecological brand'." Zhang Wenjie said that in terms of business development, we will systematically plan to create new consumption scenarios, introduce water sports, performance economy, starry sky camping, etc., increase the proportion of nighttime consumption, and "turn 'day trips' into 'overnight trips.'"
In the future, Wenzhou will also use the Garden Expo as a fulcrum to integrate Wenzhou's cultural tourism resources such as Yandang Mountain, Nanxi River, Baizhang River, Shuomen Ancient Port Ruins, etc., reconstruct the whole-region tourism development system, and continue to build the brand of "People from Wenzhou travel around the world, and people from all over the world visit Wenzhou".
