Alipay Teamed Up With Zhongmeng Music To Hold A Campus Singer Competition, Integrating National Elegance And Diverse Music
Alipay & Zhongmeng Music’s “Campus Singer Contest” Southern Division concluded successfully!

Alipay & Zhongmeng Music’s “Campus Singer Contest” Southern Division concluded successfully!
Last weekend, according to professional platform data, the total box office of the movie was approximately 182 million yuan. "Beaver Project" had a total box office of approximately 52.134 million over the weekend, ranking first; second was the science fiction movie "The Rescue Plan" with a box office of approximately 40.481 million; Spring Festival film "Flying Life 3" ranked third with a box office of 31.779 million.

The first and second spots on the list are both new films released just last Friday. In the three days since its release, the animated film "Beaver" has consistently topped the single-day box office, second-day viewership and pre-sale daily tops. As Pixar's new work, the film explores the theme of nature conservation with a fantasy setting in which a human girl's consciousness is transferred to a robotic beaver. It has aroused heated discussions with its cute animal images and imaginative plot. However, there are certain controversies about the protagonist's character and plot logic in the film, and the reputation is obviously polarized.

The science fiction movie "The Rescue Plan" topped the Japanese charts in terms of attendance last Friday and Sunday respectively. It is a sci-fi adventure-themed film, but the overall narrative style is literary and artistic. The cross-species friendship between Ryan Gosling and his cute alien friend "Loki" and more than 2,000 special effects shots are more prominent. At present, its reputation is gradually fermenting in a good direction, with a Douban score of 8.5, which is tied with "The Martian" as the highest score among Hollywood space science fiction movies since 2015. However, due to factors such as insufficient publicity, long duration, and unpopular schedule, it did not have a significant advantage at the box office.

In addition, there have been recent releases of new films such as "Marty", "The Dream Team", "The End of the Night" and "Hello, Amélie". Among them, "Marty" starring Tiancha suffered a waterloo after its domestic release. Its reputation continued to decline, and the box office in a single day on the weekend was less than one million. Although Curry's first animated film "Miracle Team" is a family-friendly movie, its popularity is limited to the "Curry fans" group and has not been able to effectively break out of the circle. It has been in theaters for nearly 10 days, and the box office has been on a downward trend last weekend.

At the same time, several films during the Spring Festival are still being released. The single-day box office of "Flying Life 3" exceeded 10 million on the two weekends. The long-tail effect of "The Wind Rises in the Desert", "The Silence of the Insect" and "Bears Every Year" is also relatively obvious.
The Qingming Festival will be released in early April. Currently, many films such as "Super Mario Galaxy Movie", "Oh My God", "Genius Game", "Sunshine Girls", "I, Permission" have been scheduled for release, and we look forward to all of them performing well.

2. During the competition, if the team leaders, coaches and athletes are ordered off the field by the referee, the competition will be suspended for one period (unless there are additional penalties imposed by the organizing committee). Furthermore, players are not allowed to move on the bench or on the field during the suspended games.
(7) Players or team leaders who get into fights or intimidate or insult referees or opposing players during the game will be punished according to the seriousness of the case. (9) If the game is interrupted due to interference due to special circumstances, and the game cannot be resumed despite the efforts of the conference organizing committee, the game results at that time are valid, and the conference must make up the game time (including penalty kicks) as soon as possible (within 24 hours).

Tsinghua University, referred to as "Tsinghua", is directly under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and is directly managed by the central government at the deputy ministerial level. It ranks among the "211 Project", "985 Project", and "World-Class Universities and First-Class Disciplines". Below is the score for admission to Tsinghua University in Xinjiang for students’ reference.

Tsinghua University Xinjiang admission score
Admission scores for a batch of 2018
Xinjiang: In liberal arts, the Han nationality scored 649 points, and the Minkao Han score was 660; in science, the Han nationality scored 679, and the Minkao Han score was 691
National Special Admission Score 2018
Xinjiang: 626 points in liberal arts and 666 points in science
Unified recruitment scores over the years:
In 2014, the minimum admission score for science subjects in Xinjiang was 663, and the minimum admission score for liberal arts subjects was 635.
In 2013, Xinjiang science scores were 653 (Chinese test), 664 (Chinese test for civilians), and liberal arts were 608 (Han test).
In 2012, Xinjiang scored 642 in science and 608 in liberal arts.
In 2011, Xinjiang scored 670 in science and 624 in liberal arts.
In 2010, Xinjiang scored 667 in science and 595 in liberal arts.
Advantages of Xinjiang candidates taking admission to mainland universities
(one)
1: Once you pass the first-tier college entrance examination, you are qualified to apply for the first-tier university. Whether you are from Xinjiang or outside Xinjiang, there are no restrictions on filling in the application.
2: Is it easy to take the exam from other provinces?
This question is difficult to answer because the scope you are asking is really too broad. How many regions are there outside Xinjiang? How many universities are there outside Xinjiang? Too many to count. A college in Beijing and Shanghai has a higher score. After all, Beijing and Shanghai are popular areas.
3: Is there any advantage between Xinjiang candidates and Hebei candidates taking the university entrance exams? I think there is really no need to ask your question.
4: Since you are a Han nationality candidate, there is no bonus point policy for ethnic minorities, nor is there any preferential policy. However, compared to the policy for ethnic minorities, many ethnic minorities are required to study for one year of preparatory courses.
(two)
Because Xinjiang is remote and has favorable policies, the scores of various schools will be lower than those in the mainland. However, it does not mean that if you want to take the college entrance examination in Xinjiang, you can take the college entrance examination in Xinjiang. You must comply with Xinjiang's off-site college entrance examination policy. For example, your household registration is in Xinjiang, your student status has been for three years or more, etc.
On September 4, the opening ceremony of the 24th Caijing Magazine Scholarship and the 13th Caijing Law and Economics Scholarship and the graduation ceremony of the 23rd Caijing Magazine Scholarship and the 12th Caijing Law and Economics Scholarship were grandly held in the Chengze Park of the National Development Research Institute of Peking University.
The "Finance" magazine scholarship program was founded in 1999 and has a history of 25 years. As the most respected scholarship program in China’s journalism community, the Caijing Scholarship relies on the top faculty and diversified curriculum system of Peking University’s National School of Development to provide targeted theoretical guidance and business training to professional practitioners who are at the forefront of journalism.
The event was hosted by Lu Jingfei, Assistant Dean of the National Institute of Development of Peking University, and Yuan Xue, Deputy General Manager of Caijing Magazine and Executive President of Financial Think Tank, Lei Xiaoyan, Party Secretary of the National Institute of Development of Peking University, Guo Li, Party Secretary and Dean of Peking University Law School, Beijing Yang Zhuang, a professor at the University's National School of Development, Deng Feng, co-director of the Law and Economics Research Center of Peking University, Wang Boming, editor-in-chief of "Caijing" magazine, He Gang, editor-in-chief of "Caijing" magazine, Zhang Yandong, executive editor-in-chief of "Caijing" magazine and president of "Financial Think Tank" and other guests attended.
Lei Xiaoyan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the National Development Research Institute of Peking University
We need to conduct real-world economic research, enter the real world of the Chinese economy, and answer important economic questions for our country. Finding answers to the real world is what I think media workers have always been pursuing, and we must pass it on to the public through you. When we do research, teaching, and thinking, we must coexist "up to the sky" and "standing on the ground." When we think about problems and look for directions, we need to look for content with important intentions, but when we actually do research, teach, and write articles, we must be meticulous. I hope this attitude and approach can also be inspiring to our students.

Guo Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of Peking University Law School
In the process of visiting overseas reporters from domestic media, we learned that the current working environment for media people is not easy. The advantage of young media professionals is that they are focused and dedicated, but they still lack knowledge and experience. Because of this, the "Finance" scholarship program has been particularly valuable in cultivating media professionals over the years. I hope that students will cherish their three-month time at school, cherish their lifelong alumni status, and work together to achieve the goal of making the world a better place.

(Picture) Guo Li, Secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of Peking University Law School
Yang Zhuang, professor at the National School of Development at Peking University
"Caijing" scholarship students have three orientations: first, to become Peking University people, they must have independent thought and free personality as Peking University encourages; second, to become National Development Institute people, they must not lower their heads to pull the cart, but to look up at the road, and must be high-minded and forward-looking; third, to become international people, 99% of the professors of National Institute of Development have obtained doctorates abroad, which determines that the teachers and courses have a truly global perspective. Therefore, the three-month condensed course is a very special treat. Students must have self-drive, self-control, insight, concentration and perseverance. They must continue to conduct personal reflection during the three months in order to truly understand and absorb the essence of the "Finance" scholarship.

(Picture) Yang Zhuang, professor at the National School of Development at Peking University
Deng Feng, co-director of the Research Center at Peking University School of Law and Economics
I have been teaching in the "Financial Economics" scholarship class for more than ten years. Our courses have also undergone many upgrades along with changes in times and policies. In these three months of study, I hope you can learn how to truly judge the world and improve your deep understanding of problems; secondly, build your own knowledge and learning network, discover the "threads" of learning during the intensive three months of challenging study, discover your true points of interest, follow the clues, and follow them to further study and think; thirdly, I hope that every student can gain identity and be full of trust in our big family of "Finance" class. Three months can't change you, but it can improve your understanding of the world.

Wang Boming, editor-in-chief of Caijing magazine
We are living in an era of great changes. What we face is not a single economic dilemma, a single aging problem, Sino-US economic and trade conflicts, or ChatGPT, but a wrap-up of challenges including natural disasters, war threats, technological breakthroughs, and social transformation. I hope that students can turn their sense of worry and desire for reform into motivation for learning, and calm down to study and think. Think about what readers need in this era and what is the essence of survival for media people.

(Picture) Wang Boming, editor-in-chief of Caijing magazine
He Gang, editor-in-chief of Caijing magazine
From the day it was born, the media has had a natural and unique attribute and function. It is the observer, watcher and conscience of society. Financial media people, especially in the midst of complex economic and social phenomena and chaotic information, should give everyone clearer guidance, tips and supervision, instead of following others' opinions, replacing rationality with sensibility, or replacing the investigation of data and facts with tendencies. The mission of our financial media has just passed the first stage, which is an era of extensive and reckless market economy.

(Picture) He Gang, editor-in-chief of Caijing magazine
Zhang Yandong, executive editor-in-chief of Caijing magazine and president of Financial Think Tank
As recorders of the times, facing the complex and severe environment, we must not only respond quickly, capture the fluctuations and trends of the times, rationally describe China's true position in the changes, accurately grasp the context of international development and the reality of different stages, and promote rational thinking and scientific judgment in solving social and economic problems; at the same time, we must also cultivate our own wisdom and ability to deal with complex challenges, conduct more in-depth investigations and studies to clarify logical connections, and help the government make decisions to optimize the environment.

2022 student representative electric vehicle observer Qiu Kaijun
The three months at Peking University National Development and Research Institute were like a dream. None of us wanted to wake up and indulge in the ivory tower. But dreams must eventually be awakened. The expectations of Caijing magazine and the National Development and Research Institute of China are to apply what we have learned and spread true knowledge. "Never forget, there will be echoes" is the prequel between us and the scholarship class, and the second half of the sentence is "when you have a breath, light a lamp, there will be people when there is a lamp", it is the continuation of us and the scholarship class. In the future, we must strive to ignite the firefly light and illuminate others.
Daily Economic News Xu Shuai
Our lives will inadvertently give you some surprises and beauty, making you full of hope for life again. Even though life is bad, people will always get older and each generation will be better off than the previous one. The world will always belong to the rising sun and the future.
2023 student representative Xia Bin of China News Service
I hope that the second transformation can happen here, in Peking University Guofa's "Finance" magazine scholarship class. I hope that through learning, I can change from a financial reporter to an expert reporter in the financial field.
CCTV Wang Lubin
I hope that with the support of Peking University National Development Institute and Caijing, we can personally experience the learning style and free spirit of the prestigious school during the short three-month study, and eagerly learn the teacher's moral character and the economics and law knowledge imparted by him. As teacher Xue Zhaofeng said: "Media people can make a huge difference by learning economic thinking."

Changing your mind at the last moment is not just a matter of "schedule adjustment"
In late March, the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference was held in Hainan. The forum was of high standard and the nodes were very sensitive. South Korea had originally arranged for Kim Min-seok, a top official in the government, to attend, and had plans to extend his visit to Beijing. The sudden cancellation before departure, and the notification was sent via text message. This handling method is unusual in itself.
The reason given by South Korea is that there are domestic meetings and energy issues have to be dealt with. It seems reasonable on the surface, but the time point is too tight and the explanation seems hasty. More importantly, South Korea was facing price fluctuations in energy and chemical raw materials at the time, and had suffered from urea supply issues in the past, so it had a realistic need to communicate with China. Under such circumstances, canceling a visit to China does not mean "cannot take care of it", but more like "voluntarily giving up".
What really made his intentions clear were his actions in the following days. On March 26, the South Korean government announced the imposition of anti-dumping duties on industrial robots from China. On the same day, it also launched a review of Chinese polyester products. There is a possibility that existing tariffs will continue to increase. The action is concentrated and the rhythm is tight, and it can hardly be said to be improvised.
Looking at these two things together, it is not just a "change in itinerary", but an external manifestation of a policy shift. The sequence of withdrawing diplomatic actions first and then taking action on trade has obvious signaling implications.

Aiming at the core of manufacturing, South Korea’s abacus is not complicated
The direction South Korea chose to start this time was very targeted. Industrial robots are a key link in the upgrading of the manufacturing industry and an important area of future competition. Polyester products are basic chemical materials and are directly related to the cost of the industrial chain.
Domestic companies in South Korea have previously filed complaints, claiming that the prices of Chinese and Japanese products are too low, impacting the survival space of local companies. Especially in the field of robots, Chinese products have obvious advantages in price, and the market share of local companies has been compressed. For South Korea, simply opening up the market is tantamount to actively giving up industries.
The problem is that South Korea is not an economy that can rely entirely on domestic demand. Its industrial system is highly dependent on exports, as well as external markets and supply chains. If it is just for industrial protection considerations, it is entirely possible to adopt a more relaxed approach, such as technical standards, subsidies, etc., instead of directly imposing tariffs.
The real background is over there in the United States. In the past year, the United States has continuously strengthened its policy intervention in the high-end manufacturing field, and the robot industry has been mentioned repeatedly. U.S. companies are putting pressure on the government, the U.S. Congress is pushing for restrictive measures, and the executive level is also preparing relevant policies. In this atmosphere, it is difficult for allied countries to stay completely aloof.
To put it bluntly, South Korea's choice has two points: first, to defend its local market and avoid being completely suppressed by Chinese companies; second, to follow the rhythm of the United States and avoid being "named" on supply chain issues. The superposition of these two points resulted in the current policy action that seems sudden but has actually been foreshadowed for a long time.

Oscillating between China and the U.S., South Korea is walking an increasingly narrow path
South Korea has long been dependent on the Chinese market. This is a reality. After the China-South Korea Free Trade Agreement came into effect, a large number of Korean products entered China and tariffs dropped significantly. The Chinese market has become increasingly important to Korean companies. At the same time, the level of U.S. tariffs on Korean goods is not low, and some areas have even continued to tighten.
Under this structure, South Korea needs the Chinese market while maintaining its alliance with the United States. In the past few years, South Korea has been looking for a balance between the two sides and trying to avoid head-on conflicts. But now the environment has changed, and the competition between China and the United States has entered a more direct stage, leaving less and less space for the middle ground.
The imposition of tariffs on Chinese products this time is essentially moving closer to the United States. The problem is that this closeness is not without cost. The Chinese market cannot be replaced at will. Once friction escalates, it will be difficult for Korean companies not to be affected. Especially in the current unstable global supply chain, actively increasing uncertainty is itself a risk.
A more realistic point is that the United States will not give equal rewards in trade just because of South Korea's cooperation. South Korea is facing a United States that emphasizes its own interests rather than one that will give benefits to its allies. In this case, unilateral "statement" may not be able to obtain actual benefits.
The so-called "wind direction change" is actually the spillover of strategic anxiety.
Some people interpret this action as a "turn" of the South Korean government, and even think it is a complete move towards the United States. This judgment makes some sense, but it is not accurate enough. More essentially, it is South Korea’s anxiety in the current international landscape.
On the one hand, China's manufacturing competitiveness continues to improve, putting pressure on neighboring countries; on the other hand, the United States continues to strengthen camp division and requires allies to take sides in key areas. South Korea is caught in the middle. It neither wants to lose the Chinese market nor dares to go against the will of the United States. It can only make continuous choices on specific policies.
Canceling visits to China and imposing tariffs may seem scattered, but in fact they all serve the same goal: reducing uncertainty and gaining the initiative. But the problem is that this kind of "initiative" is based on sacrificing part of the stable relationship. It may be effective in the short term, but in the long term it will continue to consume room for maneuver.
If South Korea continues along this path, the situation it will eventually face is simple: at a critical moment, it will be forced to make a clearer choice, instead of being able to maneuver around as it is now.

Conclusion
There is never any real "fence-riding space" between countries, only temporary room for maneuver. What South Korea is doing now is not balancing, but overdrawing this leeway. When the space is squeezed to the limit, taking sides is no longer a choice, but a result.
