During this season, some people are ready to go out and enjoy the flowers and enjoy the outdoor time, but some people can only "look at the flowers and sigh" at the spring flowers in the garden – their noses are itchy, they can't stop sneezing, their noses are flowing uncontrollably, their eyes are red, itchy and sore, and in severe cases, they can't sleep due to coughing at night, and even their breathing is stuffy. They are probably suffering from hay fever.

What are the symptoms of hay fever? What measures can relieve symptoms?

"Hay fever, also known as pollen allergy, is essentially an abnormal immune response of the human body to certain pollen in the air, which is an allergic disease." Wang Zixi, deputy chief physician of the Department of Allergy at Peking Union Medical College Hospital, said that allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis are more common and manifest as nasal itching, nasal congestion, itchy eyes, tears, sneezing, and watery nose. Some patients may also experience itchy throat, ear itching, coughing, and even chest tightness and wheezing.

The symptoms of hay fever are similar to those of a cold. How to tell the difference? Wang Zixi said that colds are mostly infectious diseases, mostly caused by viruses. In addition to nasal congestion and runny nose, they are often accompanied by infection symptoms such as fever, sore throat, fatigue, and muscle aches. There is no obvious seasonal pattern; hay fever is an allergic inflammation, and it often has a strong seasonality, that is, it attacks at a certain time every year.

"Hay fever can be treated," Wang Zixi said. "The first is drug treatment. For most patients, the most important treatment is nasal glucocorticoids, which can be combined with second-generation antihistamines according to the condition. Some patients need to add leukotriene receptor antagonists." It should be noted that standard treatment emphasizes sufficient dosage, sufficient course of treatment, and early use of medication, rather than temporary remedies after the onset of symptoms.

Experts suggest that people with clear allergens, moderate to severe pollen allergies, symptoms that affect their quality of life, poor drug treatment effects, or intolerable side effects may consider desensitization injections after being diagnosed by a specialist. At present, the main desensitization injections used are sprucizumab and omalizumab. Spuximab is not only effective for allergic rhinitis, but also has therapeutic effects on moderate to severe asthma and atopic dermatitis. The use of omalizumab can treat moderate to severe allergic asthma and significantly reduce the symptoms of rhinoconjunctivitis in patients with pollen allergy, but the patient's IgE (immunoglobulin E) level needs to be tested before injection. Contraindications for desensitization injections include severe uncontrolled asthma and immune system diseases. Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant should be evaluated by a specialist before taking desensitization injections.

Seek medical attention promptly if specific symptoms occur. Wang Zixi reminded that in addition to nose and eye symptoms, if you experience repeated coughing, chest tightness, and wheezing, especially if the symptoms are obvious at night, you should be wary of pollen allergic asthma. After eating certain fruits and nuts, you may experience itchy lips, oral discomfort, or even systemic reactions. This may be a pollen-food cross-reaction. If these symptoms occur, you should go to the allergy department of the hospital for evaluation and treatment in time to avoid aggravation of the condition.

Spring is bright and it is a good time for outdoor sports. How to protect yourself when going out?

Ma Tingting, chief physician at Beijing Millennium Monument Hospital affiliated with Capital Medical University, suggested that you should "check three things" before going out: Look at the time, pollen concentration generally reaches its peak between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m., so avoid going out during this period; look at the weather, pollen drifts the most in sunny, dry, and windy weather. When encountering strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, pollen drifts quickly, so try not to go out. After rain, pollen is washed away, which is the best time to go out for activities; check the forecast and pay attention to the pollen concentration forecast issued by the local meteorological department.

Wear a "three-piece suit" for protection: wear a mask, choose an N95 mask or a medical surgical mask. Ordinary cotton masks cannot block pollen particles; wear goggles or sunglasses with good sealing to prevent pollen from entering the eyes and causing allergic conjunctivitis; wear long clothes and trousers with smooth surfaces, such as jackets and windbreakers, and avoid wearing plush clothes that can easily absorb pollen.

1. The inevitable logic of “the integration of culture and technology” empowering public cultural services

Culture and technology have always been mutually reinforcing. Culture gives value orientation to technological innovation, and technology provides strong support for cultural development. The deep integration of culture and technology is profoundly reshaping public cultural services, which contains profound theoretical logic, profound historical implications and distinctive characteristics of the times.

This is the practical requirement of Marx’s theory of spiritual production. In Marx's view, human beings are conscious beings, and spiritual production is the most free and creative activity of human beings. In the union of free people, people promote the improvement of spiritual productivity through the development of material productivity, and achieve spiritual liberation on the basis of everyone sharing spiritual materials. The development, co-construction and sharing in Marx’s spiritual production theory are intrinsically consistent with public cultural services in the new era. This indicates that in order to achieve high-quality development of public cultural services, it must be combined with the most advanced productivity and promote the integration of culture and technology.

This is the inevitable development of the public cultural service construction of the Communist Party of China. Our party has always focused on protecting people's cultural rights and interests and promoting public cultural services from scratch and from weak to strong. From running schools, running newspapers, performing plays, and broadcasting in the base areas, to establishing cultural centers, libraries, and cinemas after the founding of the People's Republic of China, and then implementing projects such as "every village access" radio and television, rural movie screenings, and farmhouses after the reform and opening up, the spiritual needs of the people have been initially met. In the new era, the integration of science and technology and culture not only continues the party's concept of "culture benefiting the people", but also injects "intelligence core" into public cultural services, allowing the people to enjoy high-quality spiritual and cultural life.

3. The fundamental requirement for “integration of culture and technology” to empower public cultural services

"Integration of culture and technology" empowers the development of public cultural services. It is a systematic change with cultural values ​​as the core and scientific and technological innovation as the support. Only by anchoring the three key aspects of cultural connotation, infrastructure upgrading, and talent innovation drive can we lay a solid foundation for improving the quality and efficiency of public cultural services.

Strengthen the cultural implications of digital public cultural services. The core competitiveness of digital public cultural services is rooted in the in-depth exploration and accurate transmission of cultural connotations, rather than the coolness of technology. In the process of digitalization, it is necessary to prevent culture from being reduced to entertainment content that is fast-paced, has strong visual impact, and focuses on external forms. Instead, it should be firmly based on its own history, culture, national customs, and resource characteristics to enhance the connotative carrying capacity, recognition, and appeal of public cultural services.

Strengthen the effective coverage of digital public cultural service infrastructure. Digital infrastructure is the “highway” for digital public cultural services. In the "integration of culture and technology", we must quickly promote the digital transformation of traditional public cultural places such as libraries and museums, and create digital service platforms. Continue to improve digital coverage in remote areas and establish "digital cultural stations" to ensure smooth accessibility of digital cultural services in rural areas. Carry out digital skills education on a regular basis, improve the digital literacy and digital access capabilities of the entire population, and avoid "suspended" services.

Cultivate comprehensive talents who are adaptable to digital public cultural services. Digital public cultural services have distinct cross-border characteristics, which requires cultivating practitioners with profound value literacy, aesthetic ability, and superb technical skills. It is necessary to break down disciplinary barriers, create a talent training system under the perspective of "digital intelligence and humanities", and cultivate a group of compound talents who understand both culture and technology; at the same time, it is necessary to promote the positive interaction between cultural talents and scientific and technological talents to form an innovation team with complementary advantages.

Entering a new stage of development in the "15th Five-Year Plan", the deep integration of culture and technology will become the core driving force for improving the quality and efficiency of public cultural services. It is necessary to actively adapt to the development trend of digital intelligence and informatization, continuously promote the development of public cultural services in a more inclusive, high-quality, and intelligent direction, promote the common prosperity of the people's spiritual life, and inject strong spiritual power into the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

According to previous statistics from China's National Cardiovascular Disease Center, as many as 550,000 people die from sudden cardiac death in my country every year, which is equivalent to an average of 1,500 people dying of cardiac arrest every day. One person falls to the ground suddenly due to cardiac arrest every minute.

According to a previously released "China Cardiovascular Health and Disease Report", it is estimated that the number of people suffering from cardiovascular disease in China is about 330 million, and the treatment of cardiovascular disease has caused a huge social burden.

Clinical findings indicate that within 1 minute after sudden death, cardiopulmonary resuscitation should be implemented immediately and an automated external defibrillator (AED) should be used to carry out first aid. The rescue success rate can reach 90%. The success rate decreases by 10% for every 1 minute of delay. If rescue is started after more than 10 minutes, the patient's mortality rate is almost 100%.

Experts call that pre-hospital first aid is an important means to reduce cardiovascular and cerebrovascular mortality. This requires that pre-hospital first aid be included as part of the first aid system to buy more critical and critical patients time to survive.

Zhang Yi, chief physician of the Heart Center of Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital and director of the Pan-vascular Center, told China Business News: "This requires the cooperation of systems, equipment and personnel."

Zhang Yi analyzed to a reporter from China Business News that the main causes of sudden cardiac death are similar to common cardiovascular risk factors, including staying up late, lack of exercise, smoking, and drinking. "There is no special way to prevent sudden death. We can only rely on adhering to a healthy lifestyle, conducting regular cardiovascular-related physical examinations, and understanding one's cardiovascular status." He said. In addition, hereditary heart disease is also an important cause of sudden death at any age.

On March 24, a criminal who claimed to be an active official of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces forced his way into the Chinese Embassy in Japan and threatened to kill Chinese diplomats in the so-called "name of God." This incident is by no means a simple public security case, but a dangerous signal that Japan’s domestic political ecology has deteriorated sharply and its ambitions for military expansion have expanded.

Why is this event so important? Because, starting from this incident, we can clearly see that Japan is accelerating towards a dangerous abyss.

First, if active self-defense members actually break into our embassy in Japan, it means that the armed threat has escalated.

The identity of the person who broke into the Chinese Embassy this time is very special – he claims to be an active official of the Self-Defense Forces. This identity itself means multiple dangers: on the one hand, as an active military personnel, he is likely to have weapons operation skills and military training background, making his threat far greater than that of ordinary criminals. On the other hand, his status as a member of the Self-Defense Forces means that he has access to internal information about the Japanese military system, and his behavior may reflect a serious disorder in the internal management of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces.

What is even more worrying is that this person claimed to commit violence "in the name of God." Such extreme remarks are in line with the "idea of ​​the Kingdom of God" during the militaristic period of Japanese history, implying that extreme nationalism and religious fanaticism are spreading among Japanese military personnel.

At present, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lodged stern representations with Japan, pointing out that this incident seriously violated the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, threatened the safety of diplomatic personnel, and was of extremely egregious nature.

Second, the deep penetration of far-right forces has put Japanese society in a dangerous turn.

This incident is not an isolated phenomenon, but a microcosm of the overall rightward shift in Japanese society.

From 2025 to the beginning of this year, Japan's political situation has undergone significant changes. The far-right political parties have suddenly emerged in the Senate elections, leaping from a fringe force to a political force that cannot be ignored. In order to unite conservative voters, the ruling Liberal Democratic Party promoted hard-right politician Sanae Takaichi to the position of prime minister.

After the Takaichi Sanae government came to power, Japanese politics accelerated its rightward turn: she repeatedly denied historical crimes such as the Nanjing Massacre and the forced recruitment of "comfort women", openly visited the Yasukuni Shrine, and frequently provoked the Taiwan issue.

What's even more dangerous is that she linked "trouble in Taiwan" with Japan's "existential crisis" to create excuses for military intervention in Taiwan Strait affairs. This extreme statement has been echoed by some right-wing forces in Japan, and there have even been fanatical calls for "100 million Japanese to rise up and fight back."

At present, Japanese society is experiencing profound divisions. This confrontation shows that Japan is deviating from the path of peaceful post-war development and sliding into the abyss of dangerous nationalism.

Third, the large-scale reorganization of the Self-Defense Forces has demonstrated the real threat of "new militarism."

Just one day before the "break-in" occurred, the Japan Self-Defense Forces launched the largest organizational reform in decades. This reorganization is by no means a simple organizational optimization, but a full-dimensional, offensive-oriented reconstruction of combat capabilities: the Maritime Self-Defense Force integrated the escort fleet and mine clearance forces, established a "water fleet" under unified command, established a new "amphibious mine warfare group", and focused on strengthening the deployment of the southwest islands. The Air Self-Defense Force accelerated its transformation into the "Aerospace Self-Defense Force" and significantly expanded its space force.

These changes indicate that Japan's defense policy is undergoing a profound transformation. The Russian Satellite News Agency pointed out that Japan continues to expand the scale of the Self-Defense Forces, strengthen offensive combat capabilities, and even militarize space in response to changes in the security environment. The relevant practices have gone far beyond the scope of "exclusive defense".

Japan also plans to purchase 400 "Tomahawk" cruise missiles with a range of 1,500 kilometers. The range of the Type 12 improved missile extends to 1,000 kilometers, which can cover the core coastal areas of neighboring countries.

The incident of Self-Defense Forces members breaking into the Chinese Embassy created a dangerous resonance with Japan's rightward shift in politics and military expansion. Japan is systematically breaking through the post-war peace system: politically, it denies its history of aggression, militarily, it develops offensive capabilities, diplomatically, it binds the United States to provoke its neighbors, and culturally, it inculcates extreme nationalism.

For China-Japan relations and neighboring countries, Japan's path to "new militarism" is a huge test. Countries in the region must maintain a high degree of vigilance, adhere to the bottom line of the post-war international order, and resolutely oppose any form of aggressive history and expansionary behavior. People of insight in Japan should also speak out bravely to defend the peaceful constitution and prevent the country from sliding into the abyss of war.

History is the best sobering agent. Japanese militarism has brought serious disasters to the people of various Asian countries. Relying on military expansion to obtain security will ultimately only lead to disaster. Faced with the current dangerous trends, the international community must work together to prevent the recurrence of historical tragedies and safeguard peace and stability in the Asia-Pacific region.
