The Thai police launched a raid in a high-end apartment in Bangkok's Sathorn district in the early morning of the 10th and arrested two Chinese men. The two were accused of taking drugs, causing disturbances, and producing and distributing obscene content in the apartment for a long time, triggering continued complaints and panic among residents.

According to police reports, the operation took place around 00:30 that day and was under the unified command of the Bangkok Metropolitan Police Department. Law enforcement officers controlled two suspects on the spot in the target room, namely 36-year-old Li and 29-year-old Cai. A variety of drugs such as methamphetamine and ecstasy were seized at the scene, as well as a large number of syringes, drug paraphernalia, electronic equipment and filming equipment, as well as about 100,000 baht in cash. The police also found a large number of adult videos of men on a tablet device, involving multiple people, abuse and other unsightly scenes.

The case stemmed from multiple reports from apartment residents. Residents reported that the two men frequently gathered people in the apartment to take drugs and make noise, accompanied by sounds of obvious sexual activity. What’s more serious is that the two men ran naked around the apartment many times, knocked on other people’s doors, and even broke into public areas. Their behavior was out of control and aggressive. The property management personnel tried to intervene but failed to stop the incident. Instead, they encountered fierce resistance from the other party. Some residents on the same floor were forced to move out because they could not bear it for a long time.

Police investigation found that the two were active account operators on social platform According to a confession from one of the suspects, the two have earned millions of baht by operating OF accounts.
On the night of the arrest, the police found one person naked in the room with drug paraphernalia scattered around; the other person showed obvious mental disorder and confused speech. Preliminary testing showed traces of frequent injections. Faced with the accusation, Cai argued that the drugs in the room belonged to his companions, denied that he possessed them, and denied that his abnormal behavior was related to drug abuse.

The police said that a number of charges have been filed against the two people, including illegal possession and consumption of Class 1 drugs, as well as visa overstay and other illegal activities. As for the production, dissemination, and sale of obscene content, the relevant electronic evidence is being further collected and analyzed, and additional charges will be added later.

Law enforcement agencies pointed out that the case has had a serious impact on the lives of surrounding residents and even affected the safety of children. The police will continue to dig deeper into the background of the case, including the source of funds and the online communication chain. At the same time, the public is urged to be vigilant about the dangers of drugs and to call the police in time if relevant clues are found.
