Oriental College of Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics is an applied undergraduate college with economics and management as its main subjects and coordinated development of economics, management, literature, art, law, science and engineering. It is a full-time undergraduate independent college approved by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province in 1999 and confirmed by the Ministry of Education in 2004. In September 2010, it moved from Wenhua Campus in Hangzhou to Chang'an New Campus in Lianhang Economic Development Zone, Haining City, Zhejiang Province. In 2014, the college was rated as an advanced unit for the research and practice of entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions nationwide. In 2015, it was approved as one of the first ten application-oriented construction pilot demonstration undergraduate universities in Zhejiang Province.
