With the theme of "Policy empowering government-enterprise linkage – jointly promoting the high-quality development of the traditional Chinese medicine industry in Qinghai and Macao", this event focuses on the Sino-Tibetan medicine industry, a key area where Qinghai and Macao complement each other's advantages, builds a cooperation bridge for policy interoperability, industry interconnection, and market interoperability, promotes the in-depth integration of Qinghai's local Chinese medicinal materials and Tibetan medicine resources and the advantages of Macao's international platform, and helps Qinghai's Sino-Tibetan medicine industry develop high-quality and enter the international market.

Qinghai is rich in Sino-Tibetan medicine resources. The output of Cordyceps sinensis accounts for more than 60% of the country's total. Qaidam wolfberry is famous at home and abroad. "Eighteen green medicines" such as Tanggu special rhubarb, green fritillary, rhodiola, and Tibetan artemisia are authentic and well-known at home and abroad. There are more than 1,600 kinds of natural medicines in the province. Objects, more than 1,200 kinds of Tibetan medicinal material resources, and more than 2,000 ancient Tibetan medicine documents, jointly build a dazzling treasure house of traditional Chinese medicine; Tibetan medicine baths, special preparations and other classic therapies and products have been passed down for thousands of years and have both cultural value and health effects.
Li Xiaohui, deputy director of the Qinghai Provincial Department of Commerce, said that this matchmaking meeting aims to "match-match" industrial cooperation between the two places, promote the in-depth integration of Qinghai's high-quality medicinal materials resources and Macao's international R&D, production and marketing advantages, allow plateau authentic medicinal materials to "borrow Macao to go overseas", allow Macao's traditional Chinese medicine industry to "attract young people and empower", and jointly create a unique model of Qinghai-Macao traditional Chinese medicine cooperation.
At the event, the professional team of Macau Nanyue Science and Technology Park introduced Macau's traditional Chinese medicine internationalization policy, international registration process, quality certification standards and market channel advantages in Portuguese-speaking countries, focusing on the preferential policies in testing and research and development, incubation and cultivation, exhibition and promotion "one-stop" services, taxation, talent incentives, etc., in response to the pain points raised by Qinghai Province's Chinese and Tibetan pharmaceutical companies such as difficulties in international registration and market access, and actively promoted Qinghai Province's Chinese and Tibetan pharmaceutical companies to connect with the EU and Southeast Asian markets, reduce overseas costs and enhance international competitiveness.
The event set up a one-on-one negotiation session. Enterprises from Qingdao and Macao had in-depth docking around core areas such as raw material supply, joint research and development, quality testing, and international registration, and reached a batch of cooperation intentions. (over)
