The National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival are approaching. In view of the recent frequent safety accidents during travel to Japan, the Chinese Embassy in Japan reminds Chinese citizens in Japan and tourists visiting Japan to pay attention to travel safety and guard against various risks.
1. Improve safety awareness
Japan is prone to natural disasters and security cases are on the rise. Please understand the weather conditions and safety situation in relevant areas of Japan in advance, and pay attention to local weather warnings and disaster prevention information. Avoid traveling at night or in bad weather, avoid going to undeveloped areas that lack safety guarantees, carefully choose outdoor high-risk tourism projects such as paragliding, mountain climbing, and wading, and avoid going to areas with complex crowds and chaotic public security. Remember that “you are the first person responsible for your own safety.”
2. Make preparations before departure
Make sure that the passport and visa information match and are within the validity period, properly keep property documents, keep emergency contact information for relatives, embassies and consulates, etc., and reserve copies of identity documents.
