On the same day, the 19th "Kiuzhou, Same Roots and Two Straits" Culture and Art Exhibition (referred to as: Culture and Art Exhibition) opened in Xi'an. The exhibition period of this culture and art exhibition is from April 4 to 10. A total of more than 500 pieces of traditional Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, watercolor, sculpture and other works are on display. Among them, 100 are works from Taiwan.

At the opening ceremony, primary school students from Xi'an sang the theme song of this cultural and art exhibition "Shaanxi and Taiwan Qinsi", and representatives of Shaanxi and Taiwan calligraphy and painting artists displayed the long scroll of co-created work "Lands and Rivers Embracing the Same Root". After the opening ceremony, more than 20 calligraphy and painting artists from Shaanxi and Taiwan held a networking discussion around the theme, and the subsequent PEN exchange session became the highlight of the scene. The artists splashed ink and competed with each other on their skills, fully displaying the charm of traditional art in their pen and ink.
Taiwanese calligraphy master Zheng Jinzhang said that calligraphy, as a treasure of Chinese culture, occupies an important position in the world's cultural resources. The Culture and Art Exhibition has entered its 19th session and has made a great contribution to the promotion and inheritance of Chinese culture. Both sides of the Taiwan Strait share the same roots and look forward to the continuous and sustainable development of cultural and art exhibitions.
This cultural and art exhibition is one of the series of activities to commemorate the Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor during the Qingming Festival in Bingwu (2026).
