Since the 21st century, digital and network technologies have challenged the traditional research paradigm that focuses on content and its impact. Researchers have begun to pay attention to the meaning and impact of the media itself. Media materiality, media archeology, media infrastructure, geographical media, urban media, etc. that have been introduced in the previous volumes of "Analysis of Chinese Journalism and Communication" all represent the introduction of this new paradigm in China.

However, in radical media theory, even in Latour's Actor Network Theory (ANT), the agency of the media is still basically a metaphorical concept. According to the German philosopher Kramer, the media is just a messenger, heteronomous, and must obey others. At the same time, it does not intervene in the content itself, but only transforms the content into perceivable experience. Therefore, media research mainly focuses on the intermediary, organizational and transformational issues of media. On this basis, the "medium is existence" proposed is a more poetic interpretation. However, no matter how important they emphasize the importance of media, researchers basically still view media from an anthropocentric perspective. The most typical one is Stiegler's view that technology is the externalization of human organs.

The advent of the artificial intelligence era is likely to change the original communication pattern and assumptions. Literally new actors will join the ranks of communicators. They will no longer be passive and heteronomous messengers, but will actively intervene in content production as subjects. In the interpersonal relationships mediated by computers, the dimension of human-machine relationship may also be added. Compared with the "heavy" styles of other yearbooks and blue books, this style can be described as "light", experimental and exploratory. Recently, four Chinese victims were abducted by a human trafficking gang near the Moi River on the Myanmar-Thailand border and forced into a pickup truck to be transported to Myanmar. The four people jumped out of the car on the way and called for help. After hearing the noise, the surrounding residents came to help, and the four people were able to escape smoothly and were sent to the police station. The driver involved has abandoned the car and fled, and the Thai police are investigating.

According to Kantaporn, the head of Mae Sot County in Tak Province, Thailand, the incident occurred around 9:30 in the evening on March 9. The four people rescued were two men and two women, but the specific identities of the four people have not been made public.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Village No. 2, Thaserua Street, Mae Sot District, Tak Province. The village is located near the crossroads leading to Tapsa, about 500 meters from the Moi River on the Myanmar-Thailand border. Surveillance video at the intersection showed that around 9:30 pm on the 9th, a Chinese man sitting in the passenger seat of a white pickup truck suddenly opened the door and jumped out of the moving vehicle. But the driver suddenly accelerated at this time and seemed to want to prevent the man from rescuing.

The man then jumped into the car again and finally managed to open the door, allowing the other three people in the back seat to escape. After hearing the sound, nearby residents also went out to investigate. Seeing the situation, the driver abandoned the car and fled on the spot.

Then the local community leader led four people to Mae Sot Police Station to report the incident. The four people told the police that they were deceived into traveling to Thailand. The human trafficking organization originally planned to sell them to Myanmar, and the white pickup truck was used to transport them out of the country. After checking the entry and exit records, the police found that the four people entered the country from Chiang Mai, Thailand on the 6th and were then taken to Tak province.

The four people told the police that they were very worried that members of the human trafficking organization would chase them at any time and hoped that the police could help them leave Mae Sot as soon as possible. With the assistance of the police, they purchased long-distance bus tickets and headed to Bangkok on the 10th. The Chinese Embassy immediately took over and arranged for the four people to return to China. The Thai police are currently investigating related charges such as deception and human trafficking involved in this case.
