There is a writer named Zhang Yingquan in Hubei. He was originally entrusted by the descendants of the Liu family to overturn Liu Wencai's case. Later, the article on overturning the case was withdrawn due to fierce social criticism. Writer Zhang refused to accept it and went to Dayi County at his own expense to investigate Liu's glorious deeds! This investigation did not matter. Writer Zhang completely reversed his original article on overturning the case.
He said: Even according to the laws of the old society and the Republic of China, shooting Liu Wencai a thousand times would not be excessive! Killing husbands and seizing wives, raping young girls, dominating other people's property, selling drugs, and visiting homes to force renters. If we use the policy of land reform to characterize him, the emperor and empress will not be able to spare him for the crime of killing countless communists. Corrupt officials, corrupt officials, bandits, bullies, hooligans, gangsters, etc., he alone has accounted for all the evil deeds.
So he wrote the book "Long Night in Tianfu - Still Liu Wencai".
The following is the preface and supplementary content of the book "Long Night in Tianfu - Still Liu Wencai".
preface
In 1996, I was asked by a magazine to write a documentary novel about Liu Wencai.
Who is Liu Wencai? Before this, I didn't know any more about him than I did about the group sculpture "Rent Collection Yard". At that time, "Rent Collection Courtyard" was published in the pictorial, and we only knew that this man was a big landowner in western Sichuan who was full of sins and lived a decadent life. After reading a large amount of information about this person forwarded to me by the editorial department, I discovered that this person was not as bad as the legend had it. It turned out that decades of criticism had “unjustly” accused him. Based on those information, I just compiled it into a story in the form of a story.
Unexpectedly, before the advertisement that published this article in the magazine had time to appear, CCTV broadcast news about Liu Wencai. The insider mainly said that someone was summoning Liu Wencai's ghost. The hot spot became a hot spot, and the article was stranded and could not be published.
Over the past few years, I have often thought of this article as a waste of time, and I feel a little sour in my heart. I kept cutting it off, but I was unwilling to give it up. One day, I decided to write a book about it seriously. So I searched for other information and found various books about the Sichuan warlords' melee. It didn't matter what I was chewing, but I actually had doubts about the point of view of my article. It turns out that Liu Wencai was born in a context where whoever has a gun becomes king. Is he really a good person? Sweat broke out on my back, and I thought, luckily it didn't come out. At the same time, I became very interested in the history of Sichuan during that period, and I thought about going to Dayi to experience it.
In the middle of winter, I set off alone. Through the efforts of my friends on the way, I obtained several books dedicated to Liu Wencai. From the warlord historical materials to Liu Wencai's personal materials, I discovered that the views he held a few years ago were very wrong. Although those few books have brought out Liu Wencai's bright spots, you still can't describe Liu Wencai as a good person because of his actions. I visited the old and new manor houses of the Liu family, Liu Xiang's mansion, and the mansions of Liu Yuanxuan and other officials of the former 24th Army on Anren Street. The result of the visit not only failed to overturn the existing conclusions, but also made them disgusted with Liu Wencai and their Liu family army. Even if you look at the problem from the perspective of that year, it is difficult to classify this person as a good person.
To be honest, Liu Wencai is not a representative of the large number of ordinary landowners in China. How many small and medium-sized landowners in China can build such a large manor? Moreover, he has as many as twenty-eight mansions scattered around the country, and each one of them is no less impressive than his old mansion! Some people feel sorry for Liu Wencai, saying that there are not that many. For example, in Chengdu, there are "only" three. Let’s not talk about its twenty-eight, but only a fraction of it: eight, isn’t that scary enough?
According to the "Dayi County Chronicle", in the first fifty years of the 20th century, there were eight Kuomintang military commanders and deputy commanders from Dayi, 18 division commanders, deputy division commanders, and division chiefs of staff, 51 regiment commanders and deputy regiment commanders, and 12 major generals. There were as many as 81 people who served as county governors and county magistrates! Most of them are related to Liu Jiajun. "The three armies, nine brigades and eighteen regiments" are people's summary of their power.
It should be noted that they did not first join the Kuomintang and then be appointed, but they first became kings and became powerful and then were ratified by the Kuomintang. Under the banner of the "National Revolutionary Army", they practiced feudal family rule, conferring official titles and titles internally, and attacking dissidents externally. It was in such a smoky and lawless background that Liu Wencai, an illiterate and hooligan, became a figure.
That period of history is not only infuriating but also frightening. Without an agrarian revolution, how could the common people live their lives?
Therefore, I am more interested in the things behind Liu Wencai.
Let’s talk about the two Lius first: Liu Wenhui (brother Liu Wencai) and his nephew Liu Xiang.
Although the two uncles and nephews are both warlords, their differences in their attitudes towards life are also very obvious.
Liu Xiang was Sichuan's first major warlord. He served three times as commander-in-chief of the Sichuan Army, four times as supervisor, and commander of the 21st Army of the National Army. He has so much power, but he never takes concubines, has few desires, and is frugal. He still had a deep relationship with his wife until his death. It should be noted that at that time, concubinage was common in Sichuan. Not only did Liu Xiang not take concubines himself, but his two younger brothers were also influenced by his elder brother and had only one wife from beginning to end.
But what about Liu Wenhui and his brother Liu Wencai? Who doesn’t have three wives and four concubines? Liu Xiang did not allow his two younger brothers to have power, saying that as long as they could live their lives, that would be enough. But Liu Wenhui became an immortal chicken and dog and ascended to heaven by himself. All of them, including Liu Wencai's six brothers, could shake the mountain when he lost his temper; Liu Xiang's mansion was built like a military camp, but Liu Wencai's old and new mansions were extremely craftsmanship; Liu Xiang went home and suppressed the bandits severely, but Liu Wencai bribed the bandits to do my bidding... Putting aside the political attitude, in terms of personal quality, the advantages and disadvantages are also very clear.
Looking at Liu Wencai from the legal perspective during the Kuomintang period, he is also a lawless person. Killing husbands and seizing wives, raping young girls, dominating people's property, visiting people's homes to force rent, it can be said that they committed all kinds of evil. The Kuomintang local government was helpless, and there were many people who wanted his life. If there was no support from Liu Wenhui behind him, no boss Liu Wenyuan to lubricate him, and no army to help suppress him, he would not be able to escape the fate of losing his head even if he was not liberated. As for sending donations, selling drugs, extorting money, and colluding with bandits to kill people and steal goods under the banner of the government, the list is endless.
If we use the policy of land reform to characterize him, the emperor and empress will not be able to spare him for the crime of killing countless communists.
Corrupt officials, corrupt officials, bandits, bullies, hooligans, gangsters, etc., he alone has accounted for all the evil deeds.
Standing on that land, history seems not far away, and you can vaguely feel the bloody atmosphere of that era. However, why did some people sing praises to Liu Wencai? The wind shook the trees, allowing me to see the subtle but terrifying changes in modern people's concepts. At that time, the common people hated Liu Wencai with all their hatred. The dust of the unfortunate years gradually drowned out the tears and shouts of the exploited and persecuted people, so that their descendants turned to become enemies and resented Liu Wencai, saying bitterly that Liu Wencai was "actually not that bad."
Liu Wencai is just a piece of thread, and what he pulls out is the customs and customs of Sichuan in the first half of the twentieth century, and the emotional tendencies of some people today. He is bad, but someone gives him power; he loves gambling, but he can't gamble alone; he loves to play with women, but someone consciously comes to him to play with; he is almost illiterate, but there are well-educated people singing his praises; he is not a thing, but you can't ignore his existence if you fall into his territory; he sells drugs, but he is the head of the anti-smoking committee... In short, this person is a mirror, reflecting many tricks.
After rewriting, it became what it is now.
filler
At this point in the story, it should be clear who Liu Wencai is.
I used existing and recognized materials, but I spent some time researching and stringing these materials together in chronological order for better understanding when reading.
The description of Liu Wencai's evil deeds can only be reduced, not increased without permission, let alone made up indiscriminately.
I didn't use the materials from the farmers who accused Liu Wencai. What I was afraid of was that some people would say that some of the materials were untrue. But these are not all positive materials, which are enough to show what kind of person Liu Wencai is.
A thief can steal but cannot become a robber; a robber can commit robbery but cannot become a corrupt official; a gangster can mess with women, but there may not be any boundaries, and he may not necessarily kill his husband...
Where is Liu Wencai? The words "do no evil" are not too much to apply to him.
However, some people disagree with this assertion. Many people say that Liu Wencai is a good person, such as who he has exempted from rent, who he has given money to, who he has aided, etc.; some of the material inaccuracies in the political movement have given these arguments more credibility. Some people even said that Liu Wenhui discussed with Liu Wencai about leaving with the Communist Party. I would like to share my views on this type of issue, or what I might call "my opinion."
1. The so-called untrue words.
According to some readings, the untrue words include the following:
There is no water prison at all in Liu Wencai's manor; some of the exhibits are fakes; Liu Wencai is not the richest; some things were not done by him... the word "framed" was even used.
It is possible to find specific examples of these "untrue" parts, and if you let them be screened and identified, I am afraid that most of them will be false. However, these "untruths" only involve specific things, and no one dares to say that Liu Wencai's overall evil deeds are untrue.
It is true that in those years when class struggle was the core, there were cases of people making up false claims and randomly fabricating critical materials everywhere. How many people were transformed from innocents to criminals in the movement of characterizing first and then supplementing the materials. Naturally, the criticism of Liu Wencai will not deviate from this pattern. But one thing needs to be made clear, that is, is the "untrue" part about this person just inconsistent with the facts, or is it a frame-up? Only when you understand this basic thing can you speak easily. If it is the former, the characterization is correct, and it is enough to ask for more accuracy, without making a big fuss; if it is the latter, it should be completely rehabilitated and the reputation restored, and just making a fuss is not enough. It seems that the case is not easy to overturn, and the people who put in good words for Liu Wencai actually didn’t even think clearly about what they wanted to do. In other words, criticism of Liu Wencai and the "persecution" of the majority of cadres and intellectuals, exposing certain inaccuracies in the criticism of Liu Wencai and making false accusations that harm good people are two different concepts and cannot be confused.
Let’s talk about the specific “inaccuracy”. What "reality" is "lost"? This is the crux of the matter. Whether the murder suspect killed someone is a prerequisite for conviction. As for mistaking the victim Zhang San for Li Si, and mistakenly thinking that one stabbing was for two stabbings, this kind of misunderstanding cannot be the basis for mitigating the crime of homicide.
The most talked about thing is the water prison. Leng Yueying was put into a water prison, but it was not the water prison of Liu Wencai's family, but the water prison of Liu Bohua's family, Liu Wencai's nephew and the son of Liu Wencheng, the fourth child. The party and government leaders of Dayi County took a pragmatic attitude and corrected this mistake after careful investigation. This is rare. Unfortunately, this correction gave some people an excuse to believe that it was "imposed" on Liu Wencai. If we have to make a fuss out of this, we can also think about it from the other side: Leng Yueying was thrown into a water prison by Liu Wencai's nephew just a few days after giving birth.
Doesn't the monument to "Private Wencai Middle School" say that Liu Wencai "has the heroic style of Yan and Zhao"? At that time, Liu Wencai was maintaining public order. He killed so many people, all on charges of harming the common people and colluding with bandits. But this incident happened under his nose. Who gave that villain such lawless power? How to allow his nephew to set up private punishment? Even if the lawsuit were filed under today's legal terms, Liu Wencai would not be able to escape responsibility.
Liu Zegao said something. He said that when Liu Wencai arrests people, he "kills them if they want, and releases them if they want." Compared with "kill if you want", setting up a water prison at least still has hope of survival, but it is much more tender. That is to say. The mistake in the water prison did not aggravate Liu Wencai's stain.
Then again, the cellar of Liu Wencai's mansion was indeed filled with dirty water, and there were indeed human bones in the dirty water. Who was the dead person? The leaders of Dayi County did not make random speculations. They still followed Wang Yuqing and others' statement and believed that the cellar was a place where opium was hidden rather than a water prison. The reason is that Liu Wencai would not do such disgusting things on the side of the bed. If we insist on digging into the nitty-gritty, we have reason to believe that this explanation is still difficult to justify. Since the opium was hidden, why should it be placed in a basement with water? Does it mean that opium must be soaked in dirty water? Liu Wencai was still selling opium even when he was ill, but why did he let the opium cellar be filled with dirty water and someone was rotting into bones in it without noticing? People who went in personally testified that there was a hole in the courtyard wall, and they found dirty water when they went in, and then found dead human bones. The only explanation for Liu Wencai's relief was that someone beat the person to death outside, then dug a hole in the courtyard wall and stuffed the dead person inside. But here comes the problem again. A dead person cannot turn into bones without half a year of decay. The Liu Wencai family was heavily guarded. How come no one discovered a hole in the wall within half a year? Standing at that eerie cellar door, I had these questions. I dare not say that Liu Wencai committed murder, but this is indeed a good place to hide his crimes. The identity of the deceased will never be known, and the injustice will never be redressed. There is no need to explain whether this person's fate is better or worse than Leng Yueying's imprisonment in water.
2. Authenticity of Liu Wencai’s property
How much property does Liu Wencai have? Which parts of the exhibition are real and which are fake? Does that new mansion belong to Liu Wenhui or Liu Wencai? Does the gold in the vault belong to the youngest or the fifth? Seriously speaking, these so-called "mysteries" have no research value. Because the hatefulness of a robber does not lie in the amount of property he robbed. This is basic common sense. But since someone brought it up and was aggrieved by Liu Wencai, there is nothing wrong with talking about it.
There are twenty-eight mansions and more than 8,000 acres of land. Some people angrily say that there are not that many. For example, there are only three mansions in Chengdu instead of four. Is it true or false? Let’s just say they are all fake. Don't talk about the big ones, talk about the small ones. Only the fact that after liberation, everyone in Anren Township could get one of the Jingdezhen porcelain bowls stamped "Xingting Supervision", Liu Wencai had no grievances to express. It is specially fired, difficult to transport, and the quantity is huge, so it is not something that the so-called big landowners can handle.
Among the records that I saw in the data, in addition to the above, there are the following things:
The emerald ring Liu Wencai wore was worth ten thousand oceans; the eight coffins in Jianchang were covered with gold, and it took eight years just to paint them; Ling Junru's clothes had to be packed in dozens of large boxes; Liu Wencai had multiple tables for every meal, just because he loved the excitement; Liu Wencai himself said: "It cost two thousand Not counting the acres of land, five hundred acres will be left for the four sons..." He boasted that his family's various tobacco guns could equip a company; one of Liu Wencai's sons recalled that his mother Yang Zhonghua later became a Buddhist and "donated thousands of kilograms of rice to Shantang every winter." Several thousand kilograms of rice, is it still less? And this was the situation after Liu Wencai cut off half of Yang Zhonghua's rent, "he would rather lose himself than the school." She also has a car, because the Liu family in Chengdu all have cars... If you list those specific things in a list, it will take up a huge amount of space. As for the fact that the ivory balls and ivory towers were bought stolen or robbed, and that Liu Wencai’s land was “only” more than 8,000 acres and “only occupied the
The ivory tower and ivory ball of Liu Chengxun's house were stolen. For this reason, the government vigorously searched for it, and it took a lot of effort to catch the real culprit. However, after liberation, the ivory tower and ivory ball were found in Liu Wencai's mansion. People speculated that either Liu Wencai instigated the robbery or Liu Wencai collected the stolen goods. Is it any wonder that Liu Wencai could steal the weapons of Liu Shucheng's family from the same clan, kill Mou Suifang and then steal other people's money, and steal Liu Chengxun's things? But the descendants of the Liu family disagreed, saying that Yang Zhonghua bought the ivory ball himself. Even if, as the descendants of the Liu family said, Yang Zhonghua bought the ivory ball for five hundred yuan, so what? Five hundred oceans is enough to buy dozens of children who have no food to eat! What’s the point of clearing Liu Wencai’s so-called injustice! If the common people and their descendants who benefited from the revolution stand against Liu Wencai and think that he is not the richest compared to some people and that some people are worse than him and think that he has been wronged, then we ourselves have wronged ourselves and it is also the sorrow of our ancestors.
There is a treasury in the new mansion. People who are aggrieved for Liu Wencai say that it belongs to Liu Wenhui, not Liu Wencai, because the new mansion was built for Liu Wenhui and Liu Wenhui accepted it openly. Is this theory true? Not necessarily. Liu Wenhui has a treasury in his mansion in Chengdu. In order to guard so much money, it is heavily guarded. But it's strange. The vault in the new mansion also contains a lot of gold, but why is only a cold-shouldered woman allowed to live there? Descendants of the Liu family said that after the new mansion was handed over to Liu Wenhui, Liu Wenhui's wife sent some workers to make improvements in certain areas to prove that the changes were to the treasury. But just go in and see what that vault is made of and how it's made. You will understand that it is not something that a few workers can do. Liu Wencai spends money like water, especially when buying weapons, but where is his money hidden? No one but himself had ever known. Building a treasury was actually not a big problem for him. If the treasury is his, it cannot increase his sin, and if it is not his, it cannot alleviate his sin.
3. What friends and descendants of the Liu family say
Most of the people who knew Liu Wencai's past have passed away. Even if some people are still alive, when we go to visit, people who are related to the Liu family are always the first choice, or people close to Liu Wencai, or Liu Wencai's descendants. In their impression, Liu Wencai is definitely different from the Liu Wencai in the eyes of ordinary people. It's no wonder that brotherhood and flesh-and-blood love do not cease to exist just because Liu Wencai is a bad person. On the contrary, his cruel exploitation and crazy plundering subconscious also contains a sense of responsibility for his brothers, nephews and nephews.
For example, Liu Wenhui came into contact with the Communist Party as early as the early 1940s, but when Liu Wencai died, he was still particularly sad because Liu Wencai was really a good fifth brother to him. We have no reason to blame this sentiment. Another example is Liu Zeshang, who followed Liu Wencai. When his father passed away and could not afford a coffin, Liu Wencai extended a helping hand. Liu Zegao has never forgotten this incident and has not concealed it. The kindness of a drop of water should be repaid by a spring of water. This is their private feeling and cannot be criticized by outsiders. But it would be a big mistake to use their feelings for Liu Wencai to generalize the feelings of tenant farmers and ordinary people. Those who follow will prosper, those who go against will perish. Submissives and contrarians are treated differently, and the feelings they generate are also different. The so-called "old people in Anren" referred to in some works are mostly this type of old people.
Liu Zegao has been giving speeches for a long time and has quite realized some dialectics. He said: "What is considerate may not be personal, and what is personal may not be considerate. Liu Wencai and I are close friends, and he will not treat me as a close friend if he has any ideas." He admitted that he was not Liu Wencai's close friend, but modern people who are not at odds with Liu Wencai love Liu Wencai more than them. The world has really become unfamiliar.
How do they evaluate Liu Wencai?
Wang Yuqing said that Liu Wencai treated people very well. How to do it well? She said that apart from her parents, no one else was kind to her. Yes, she was originally the daughter of a sharecropper. Because she married Liu Wencai, her family got dozens of acres of land and a house. The bigger gain was that with Liu Wencai behind her, her family no longer had to be afraid of anyone. As a person, Liu Wencai's tolerance and consideration for her were genuine. What she exchanged for her youth seems a bit absurd to people today, but it was not easy in those days when one meal was too late, so it is understandable that she is grateful to Liu Wencai. But it can be summarized from this that Liu Wencai "treats people very well", and it is either a personal affair or confusion. Her narration and introduction to Liu Wencai were clearly mixed with personal emotions and opinions, and the elements of justification and cover-up were obvious.
In addition, Liu Wencai's son thinks his father is a bit too upright, and his nieces and nephews think Liu Wencai is a good person. I fully believe that Liu Wencai is not lacking in kindness and generosity to the younger generation, and is even more benevolent and friendly to his brother Liu Wenhui. They thank Liu Wencai for being their family matter, but by the same token, their feelings cannot replace the feelings of the common people. When Liu Wencai sent troops to collect donations, why did he force his children to "have to pay within two days"? Liu Wencai raped women, how could he let his children see it? Dry millet was condemned as wet grain, and full grain was condemned as chaff. How had they ever experienced the blood and tears involved?
Through oral or written materials, descendants of the Liu family pointed out to relevant personnel and departments that some of the exhibits were not original to the Liu family, and that some parts of the house were not the same as they were before. They even revealed that some of the exhibits were bought by relevant people in stores to prove that they were framed. Not to mention that there is anything wrong with this attitude, but looking at these explanations from another perspective is worthy of questioning. These materials only prove that some aspects are exaggerated, but there is no word to explain that some aspects are insufficient. In fact, comparing the excessive part with the insufficient part, as long as there is no prejudice, it is obvious. Obviously, when these descendants provided these materials, their feelings of flesh and blood overwhelmed rational thinking.
Speaking of which, there is also the issue of understanding those "good things".
Has Liu Wencai done any good deeds? It has been done before, and there are people who can count every one of them, so they are not fake. For example, as mentioned earlier, Liu Zegao's father died without a coffin, and Liu Wencai generously donated a coffin. Liu Zegao also said that two farmers could not plow their fields without cattle, so Liu Wencai bought a cow and had it given away. Building a school is one of the good deeds. Taking a closer look at other aspects, there is still a lot of material that proves Liu Wencai's "generousness and kindness" that can be unearthed. But can these good deeds prove a person's quality? The answer is no. It should be noted that doing good deeds and being kind-hearted are two different things. It is good to have no desire to dominate and not harm the interests of others; it is good to satisfy me first and then I will reward you. Which one does Liu Wencai belong to? For him, not plundering was the greatest good thing, but he couldn't do it. He must rob others to satisfy his spiritual and material needs before doing good deeds. At this time, the good deeds are actually condescending rewards. Throughout Liu Wencai's life, he has never been equal to anyone. Anyone who is evenly matched with him will fight to the death. It ends with him gaining the upper hand. It is precisely because the survival of the majority of people must rely on the good deeds of a few people that this world is a bastard and should be overthrown! If today we still don’t understand the value of democracy and freedom and keep counting the good deeds Liu Wencai has done, even if Tan Sitong survives, we can’t help but shake our heads and sigh.
4. Liu Wencai moves closer to the Communist Party?
According to an unpublished article, when Liu Wenhui returned home to take over the residence in 1942, he informed Liu Wencai about his contact with the Communist Party. He not only introduced the many benefits of the Communist Party to Liu Wencai, but also told Liu Wencai all the policies of the Communist Party promoted by Zhou Enlai. It was after this conversation that the Public Welfare Association was established. This means that Liu Wencai had a positive attitude after hearing these words, and the Public Welfare Association is a force for progress organized after progress.
Is that true? So let’s take a look at how Liu Wencai has dealt with the Communist Party since then. The bad deeds done before 1942 were considered to have happened before he was aware of it, so let's forget about it.
In March 1947, he was more successful than Anren in killing activists who had gone with the Communist Party. In April of the same year, he ordered Guo Baozhi to ambush the underground military workers and kill 12 members of the military workers. In July 1948, Liu Wencai mobilized the county guard to surround the home of Communist Party member Xiao Rulin because he had obtained information that a meeting would be held there and wanted to wipe out the Communist military workers. The armed workers' team broke through and several members died; a few days later, they killed a person who was said to have helped the armed workers' team; in September of the same year, they killed Communist Party member Xiao Rulin and military workers Xu Daren, and ordered their bodies to be dragged into the county for public display...
Xiao Rulin and other Communists were killed by Liu Wencai, and the underground military team was surrounded and suppressed on the eve of liberation, and the executioners were all brothers of Liu Wencai's Public Welfare Association. After liberation, Liu Yuanlong, Guo Baozhi, Liu Shaowu, Li Pengju and others openly launched an armed rebellion. Is there anyone so close to the Communist Party? Xiao Rulin, as knowledgeable as Jiuquan, would not agree to such absurd speculation.
To put it bluntly, Liu Wencai has not reached that level and cannot reach that level. Even Liu Wenhui may not have accepted the ideas of the Communist Party after being exposed to it. This is proven by materials. Liu Wencai died after the birth of New China, and Liu Wenhui actually wanted to let Liu Yuanxuan, the acting commander of the 24th Army and his nephew, lead the "Public Welfare Association to Advance Du" in name. This did not happen because of the opposition of Liu Yuanxuan's father Liu Wenyuan. Liu Wenyuan's objection was not because he understood the theory of communism, but because he believed that it was unseemly for a dignified army commander to become the boss of Pao Ge. If Liu Wenhui really understood the purpose of the Communist revolution, he would never be so confused.
Liu Wenhui was still magnanimous. In his article "The Historical Road to the People's Camp," he said: "My opposition to Chiang Kai-shek is not for the revolution, but based on personal ambition. Similarly, my pro-Communist sentiment is not for the revolution, but based on personal political interests."
If he had not been deeply touched by the old and new society, it would be impossible for a great warlord to say these words. The respectability of Liu Wenhui also lies in his frankness. But the unreleased article wiped the air in the wrong place.
In fact, it is not difficult to trace the psychological motivations that aroused the injustice against Liu Wencai: in addition to the dirt of time that has diluted the life and death grievances of his ancestors, and in addition to the rebellious psychology of past political struggles and other factors, the most direct reason is that the physical objects that have survived to this day have produced benefits for the economy and culture of Anren Town today. The magnificence of several mansions is admirable, and a school has cultivated talents. These benefits that play a role in the market economy are all visible and tangible. The proportion of visitors' appreciation is far greater than that of education. And what about Liu Wencai’s evil deeds? The few remaining insiders tell the story of Liu Wencai's exploitation and cruelty, but the painful feelings of the exploited and mutilated are difficult to convey to the world. The exhibition in the rent collection courtyard gave people more of an artistic impression. For modern people who have not experienced it personally, it is difficult to resonate with the blood and tears psychologically. Therefore, the blood and tears of many people were blown away by the wind, leaving only relics for talking and laughing. This is really cruel of history and time.
Liu Zegao's words are quite representative: "Liu Wencai also did some good things for An Ren. What did Liu Xiang do in front of such a high official?"
I'm afraid his views are not those of one person. Local folks and officials, big and small, may not have this idea.
There are even some young people who are restless in peaceful life or who are resistant to real life. They wonder for no reason: What if I was born at that time? They never consider the possibility of being enslaved or the misery of being enslaved. They fantasize about Liu Wencai's power and power, and lament that their lack of success is all because they did not have a good time. Therefore, in the dark corner of their psychology, Liu Wencai has become their idol. Those who took photos wearing leggy clothes didn't even know that this was a despicable act that would embarrass their parents. The Liu Wencai they thought of was naturally different from the Liu Wencai they thought of others.
In short, Liu Wencai's life is not worthy of imitation, whether viewed from the perspective of the past or today. Regarding Liu Wencai's actions, whether from an Eastern standpoint or a Western standpoint, there is no legal basis to defend him. When the President of the United States is scolded, he does not have the right to erase the scolder, but what about Liu Wencai? He hates democracy and those who are stronger than him. He advocates feudal rule and personal dictatorship. He will kill anyone who disrespects him. Those piecemeal good deeds are exactly the tricks played by all dictators. There is nothing worthy of praise!

China Yiwu Net reported on September 12 (Reporter Gong Shuhong, Correspondent Lou Jianping, Editor Lou Feili) In recent years, mobile payment tools have developed rapidly, Alipay is particularly versatile, and similar ones include WeChat Pay, JD Pay, etc. However, as these powerful mobile payment tools become popular, some crimes related to them also continue to appear, especially cases of property infringement.

Recently, a man from Yiwu, Xiao Ding, had no money to spend, so he wanted to cash out from "professionals" through Ant Huabei. As a result, he was unprepared and was tricked by others.
Not long ago, Xiao Ding met Ni who was engaged in the loan business on WeChat. During the process of learning about the loan, Xiao Ding learned that this person was also responsible for the cash-out business of Ant Huabei.
"I just happened to be short of money recently, so I thought about cashing out some of my Huabei quota from him, which would give me a delay for a few days." At about 12 noon on August 22, Xiao Ding found Ni on WeChat. After understanding the "cash-out process", Ni sent two payment codes to Xiaoding, and withdrew 1,099 yuan and 299 yuan from Xiaoding successively, charging a certain "handling fee" and telling him that the money would be returned to his Alipay one day later.
However, the money did not arrive until noon the next day. When Xiao Ding asked Ni about the reason, he discovered that he had been blacklisted by Ni. Xiao Ding had to report to the Choujiang Police Station of the Yiwu City Public Security Bureau.
Based on the clues provided by Xiao Ding, the police quickly identified the suspect Ni and captured him in an Internet cafe in Choucheng Street, Yiwu at around 6 pm on September 5.
According to Ni's account, he is 24 years old from Weitang Street, Jiashan. He has been working in Yiwu since 2015. He usually earns interest by lending money and helping people "cash out money with Huabei". When Xiao Ding found Ni, Ni happened to be short of money to repay his credit card. After receiving a transfer of 1,398 yuan from Xiao Ding using the payment code, he had evil intentions and "swallowed" Xiao Ding's money. Later, he used the same method to defraud another "customer" of 1,800 yuan.
Currently, Ni has been criminally detained by Yiwu police on suspicion of fraud.
Here, Yiwu police remind that with the rapid development of Internet finance, consumer credit products such as "Ant Huabei" are constantly being launched. It is worth noting that most of these consumer credit products cannot be opened or withdrawn through others. Therefore, when using such consumer credit products, netizens must clearly understand the relevant agreements of the product, and do not trust others' promises that they can withdraw cash, leak personal information, and end up being cheated instead of being able to cash out. Once you discover that you have been deceived, be sure to call the police as soon as possible.

1. The greatest dream of the Chinese nation in modern times
(42) Only a nation that has created glory can understand the meaning of revival; only a nation that has experienced suffering can have such a deep desire for revival.
The Chinese nation has created a splendid Chinese civilization, made outstanding contributions to mankind, and has become a great nation in the world. After the Opium War, due to the invasion of Western powers and the corruption of feudal rule, China gradually fell into the dark abyss of a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. The Chinese people experienced frequent wars, broken mountains and rivers, and the deep suffering of the people. The Chinese nation, which is constantly striving for self-improvement, has never given up its yearning and pursuit of beautiful dreams.
General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "Realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the greatest dream of the Chinese nation in modern times." In order to realize this great dream, the Chinese people and countless people with lofty ideals have carried out arduous exploration and indomitable struggle. However, from the Taiping Rebellion, the Reform Movement of 1898 to the Boxer Rebellion, every struggle failed. Although the Revolution of 1911 led by Dr. Sun Yat-sen ended the autocratic monarchy that had ruled China for thousands of years and was of great significance in promoting the progress of Chinese society, it failed to change the semi-colonial and semi-feudal social nature of old China and the tragic fate of the Chinese people. Modern Chinese history shows that neither the old-style peasant war nor the weak bourgeois revolution can complete the historical mission of saving the Chinese nation and fighting imperialism and feudalism, let alone the historical mission of realizing national rejuvenation.
The Chinese nation's path to pursuing its dreams is difficult and tortuous. In order to realize national rejuvenation, hundreds of millions of people have been dreaming of it, generations of people have been searching for it, and the brave and unyielding Chinese people have been arduously moving forward in the darkness. It was not until the Communist Party of China, a proletarian party guided by Marxism and bravely shouldering the task of national rejuvenation, that it stepped onto the stage of history, that the Chinese nation finally ushered in the dawn of rebirth and rebirth.
2. The Communist Party of China has no hesitation in shouldering the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
(43) The long river of history is full of waves, and it also highlights the style of those responsible for history. Whoever can shoulder the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will win the heartfelt support of the Chinese people.
The October Revolution brought Marxism-Leninism to China. Chinese advanced elements saw the way to solve China's problems from the scientific truth of Marxism-Leninism. In the violent movements of Chinese society since modern times, in the fierce struggle of the Chinese people against feudal rule and foreign aggression, and in the process of combining Marxism-Leninism with the Chinese workers' movement, the Communist Party of China came into being. From then on, the Chinese people's struggle for national independence, people's liberation, national prosperity, and people's happiness had a backbone, and the Chinese people changed from passive to active in spirit.
Once the Communist Party of China was founded, it regarded the realization of communism as the party's highest ideal and ultimate goal, and shouldered the historical mission of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation without hesitation. In the magnificent historical process of more than ninety years, whether we are weak or strong, whether in good times or in adversity, our party has remained true to its original aspirations and determination. It has united and led the people through thousands of difficulties and dangers, made huge sacrifices, had the courage to face twists and turns, and had the courage to correct mistakes.
(44) To achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we must overthrow the three mountains of imperialism, feudalism, and bureaucratic capitalism that are weighing on the Chinese people, and achieve national independence, people's liberation, national unity, and social stability. Our party united and led the people to find a correct revolutionary path of surrounding the cities with rural areas and seizing power with armed force. After twenty-eight years of bloody struggle, we defeated Japanese imperialism, overthrew the reactionary rule of the Kuomintang, completed the new democratic revolution, established the People's Republic of China, and realized China's great leap from thousands of years of feudal autocracy to people's democracy.
To realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we must establish an advanced social system that conforms to our country's reality. Our party united and led the people to complete the socialist revolution, establish the basic socialist system, promote socialist construction, and complete the most extensive and profound social changes in the history of the Chinese nation. It laid the fundamental political premise and institutional foundation for all development and progress in contemporary China, and achieved a great leap from the continuous decline of the Chinese nation in modern times to a fundamental reversal of destiny and continued prosperity.
To achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, we must conform to the trend of the times, comply with the will of the people, and have the courage to reform and open up, so that the cause of the party and the people will always be full of powerful motivation to move forward. Our party united and led the people to carry out the new great revolution of reform and opening up, broke down all ideological and institutional obstacles that hindered the development of the country and the nation, greatly stimulated the creativity of the broad masses of the people, greatly liberated and developed social productive forces, greatly enhanced the vitality of social development, and formed the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics, enabling China to make great strides to catch up with the times.
(45) The great victory achieved by the Chinese people under the leadership of the Communist Party of China has enabled the Chinese nation with a civilization history of more than 5,000 years to move towards modernization in an all-round way, allowing Chinese civilization to glow with new vitality in the modernization process; enabling the 500-year-old socialist proposition to successfully open up a highly realistic and feasible correct path in the world’s most populous country, allowing scientific socialism to The eleventh century has radiated new vitality; the seventy-year-old construction of New China has achieved world-renowned achievements. In just over thirty years, China, the largest developing country in the world, has escaped poverty and become the world's second largest economy. It has completely escaped the danger of being expelled from the world. It has created an earth-shattering miracle of development in the history of human society and has given the Chinese nation new vitality. The realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation shows extremely bright prospects.
3. The essence of the Chinese Dream is national prosperity, national rejuvenation, and people’s happiness.
(46) To realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is to realize the prosperity of the country, the rejuvenation of the nation, and the happiness of the people. This deeply reflects the ideals of today's Chinese people, and also deeply reflects the glorious tradition of the Chinese people's unremitting pursuit of progress since ancient times.
The Chinese Dream has a broad vision, rich connotations and far-reaching implications. The prosperity of the country means building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, and on this basis, building a prosperous, democratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful modern socialist country; the rejuvenation of the nation means making the Chinese nation more powerful and independent in the world of nations and making new and greater contributions to mankind; the happiness of the people means adhering to the people-centered approach, improving people's well-being, promoting the all-round development of people, and moving steadily towards common prosperity. The Chinese Dream integrates the pursuit of the country, the yearning of the nation, and the expectations of the people, embodies the overall interests of the Chinese nation and the Chinese people, and expresses the common vision of every son and daughter of China. It has become a high-pitched melody that stirs in the hearts of nearly 1.4 billion people, and has become the greatest common denominator and the largest concentric circle for the united struggle of the Chinese nation.
(47) In the final analysis, the Chinese Dream is the dream of the people. It must be realized by relying closely on the people and must continue to benefit the people. The people are the main body of the Chinese Dream, the creators and owners of the Chinese Dream. General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized: "The Chinese Dream is not a flower in the mirror, a moon in the water, or an empty slogan. Its deepest foundation lies in the hearts of the Chinese people."
The Chinese people are a great people. They have always had profound spiritual pursuits and a great dream spirit. Even though they have suffered humiliation and suffering in modern times, they have never surrendered. Instead, they have always cherished the dream of national rejuvenation and pursued a bright and beautiful future. The profound source of the Chinese Dream lies in the people, and the fundamental destination also lies with the people. Only by combining it with the people's yearning for a better life can success be achieved.
The Chinese Dream is the dream of the country, the dream of the nation, and the dream of every son and daughter of the Chinese nation. "He who gets the big can take the small." Only when the country and the nation are good will everyone be good. The Chinese Dream is to give everyone the opportunity to develop themselves and contribute to society, to share the opportunity to excel in life, to share the opportunity to realize their dreams, and to share the opportunity to grow and progress with the motherland and the times. As long as everyone integrates their life ideals into the great dream of the country and nation, integrates their personal self into the greater self, dares to dream, pursues their dreams, and diligently realizes their dreams, powerful forces will be gathered to realize the Chinese Dream. Achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is the common dream of all Chinese people at home and abroad. We must unite all forces that can be united to share the responsibility and glory of national rejuvenation.
The Chinese Dream is the dream of the Chinese people pursuing happiness and is closely connected with the dreams of people around the world. "If you are poor, you can benefit yourself; if you are wealthy, you can benefit the world." This is the moral character and mind that the Chinese nation has always advocated. China is dedicated to running its own affairs well and achieving national development and stability. This is not only responsible for itself but also a contribution to the world. The Chinese people are well aware that China's development has benefited from the international community, and are willing to support and help each other with people of other countries in the process of realizing their respective dreams. China will work with the international community to promote the world dream of lasting peace and common prosperity and make new and greater contributions to the noble cause of peace and development of mankind!
4. To realize the great dream, we must carry out great struggle, build great projects and promote great undertakings.
(48) Today, we are closer, more confident and capable of achieving the goal of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation than at any time in history. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "A journey of a hundred miles is half a mile. The great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation cannot be achieved easily and with the beating of gongs and drums. The whole party must be prepared to make more arduous and arduous efforts."
To realize the great dream, we must carry out a great struggle. Society advances in the movement of contradictions, and if there are contradictions, there will be struggles. To unite and lead the people to effectively respond to major challenges, withstand major risks, overcome major resistance, resolve major contradictions, and solve major problems, our party must carry out a great struggle with many new historical characteristics. We must firmly grasp the initiative in struggle, carry forward the spirit of struggle, enhance the ability to fight, dare to fight, be good at fighting, be firm on major issues of right and wrong that affect the future and destiny of socialism with Chinese characteristics, dare to confront tough issues in reform, development and stability work, dare to use tough force in comprehensive and strict governance of the party, dare to be tit-for-tat in safeguarding the core interests of the country, never bow in the face of difficulties, never shrink from challenges, never trade principles, and never swallow bitter fruits that damage the fundamental interests of the Chinese nation under any pressure. Fully understand the long-term, complex and arduous nature of this great struggle, go to the front lines of major struggles to sharpen real guns and sharpen swords, and continue to win new victories in the great struggle with the indomitable will of "flattening the bumps into a high road, overcoming difficulties and dangers and starting again".
To realize the great dream, we must build a great project. This great project is a new great project of party building that our party is advancing in depth. History has and will continue to prove that without the leadership of the Communist Party of China, national rejuvenation will inevitably be a utopia. To remain the vanguard of the times, the backbone of the nation, and a Marxist governing party, our party must always hold itself to the highest standards. The whole Party must more consciously uphold the principles of Party spirit, be brave enough to face problems head-on, dare to cure the poison, eliminate all factors that damage the Party's advanced nature and purity, eliminate all viruses that corrode the healthy body of the Party, and ensure that our Party will always maintain its strong vitality and strong combat effectiveness, and ensure that the Party will always maintain its strong vitality and strong combat effectiveness. In the historical process of profound changes in the world situation, we have always been at the forefront of the times, in the historical process of coping with various risks and tests at home and abroad, we have always been the backbone of the people of the country, and in the historical process of upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics, we have always been the strong leadership core.
To realize the great dream, we must promote the great cause. Socialism with Chinese characteristics has been the theme of all the Party's theory and practice since the reform and opening up. Our party relies closely on the people and has fundamentally changed the future and destiny of the Chinese people and the Chinese nation. It has irreversibly ended China's tragic fate of domestic and foreign troubles, poverty and weakness since modern times. It has irreversibly started the historical march of the Chinese nation towards continuous development and growth and toward great rejuvenation. The entire party must always hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, more consciously enhance its confidence in socialism with Chinese characteristics, unremittingly explore and grasp the laws of socialism with Chinese characteristics, maintain political determination, persist in rejuvenating the country through hard work, and always uphold and develop socialism with Chinese characteristics.
(49) In the long historical process since modern times, the Chinese people have experienced too many hardships, made too many sacrifices, and made too many struggles. Now, the powerful energy accumulated by the Chinese people and the Chinese nation in the historical process has fully exploded, providing an irresistible and powerful force for the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Great dreams cannot be waited for or shouted out, but can be fought out and worked out. In this era of thousands of sails competing and hundreds of armies vying for success, we must not be a little proud, complacent, complacent, or hesitant. We must lead the great struggle, the great project, the great cause, and the great dream, and stand at the forefront and fight bravely. The Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation must be realized and can be realized.
(According to the "Study Outline of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era")
After leveraging "Huabei" to test the waters of online small consumer loans, Ant Financial's financial credit ambitions have expanded again. In the latest Alipay wallet mobile client, in addition to the already online "Huabei", "Jiebei" also appears in the financial section. Different from "Huabei" which mainly serves Taobao buyers, "Jiebei" will mainly be used for transactions between external customers and is expected to become the core of offline expansion.
The latest version of the Alipay client shows that the "Credit Life" page under the Sesame Credit section has changed, adding new content such as finance, social networking, and people's livelihood. In the financial section, in addition to "Huabei", a product called "Jiebei" has been added.
"'Jiebei' should be launched soon, but specific issues such as product positioning, rates, and deadlines have not yet been determined." Although the relevant person in charge of Ant Financial refused to disclose more details, the use of open platforms, higher quotas, and focusing on offline may be the differentiated positioning of "Jiebei" from "Huabei" in the future.
Ma Tao, an analyst at Analysys International, said that the positioning of "Jiebei" may be different from "Huabei". "Huabei" is aimed at online shopping, cannot be cashed out, and has a smaller limit. For those users who have offline consumption such as decoration and buying cars, "Huabei" is obviously difficult to meet the demand. From this, it seems that the application channels of "Jiebei" are expected to expand offline, and the limit should be higher than that of "Huabei".
Relevant people from Ant Financial said that the product provider of "Jiebei" is not necessarily Ant Small Loan. "Credit Life" can connect various types of merchants and is not limited to Ant Financial.
This also brings more imagination to the upcoming "Jiebei". Some analysts believe that the fund provider of "Jiebei" may be P2P companies. Previously, Sesame Credit has reached strategic cooperation with P2P companies such as Yinhu.com to conduct credit assessment and post-loan tracking for credit borrowers through blacklist sharing, Sesame score assessment and other measures. It is logically feasible to use Sesame Credit Score as a basis for P2P platforms to select borrowers and provide them with a certain amount of loan business.
However, it is worth noting that the P2P platform itself is positioned as an information intermediary, not a capital investor. In this regard, a P2P industry insider said that currently some P2P companies use debt packaging to launch products, and the P2P platform uses its own funds to provide funds to multiple borrowers at one time. In this way, the debt is transferred to the P2P platform itself. Subsequently, the P2P platform launches products in a packaged form for investors to subscribe. This operation method is not illegal.
Ma Tao believes that the fund provider of "Jiebei" may be the online merchant bank that is under preparation. In his view, Ant Financial has the most comprehensive layout among Internet financial companies at present, and the new product "Jiebei" may be operated by companies under Ant Financial. According to previous assumptions, MYBank will have no physical branches and will not operate cash business. It will analyze personal credit through network data and complete lending business. Therefore, through Alipay’s real-name authentication + Zhima Credit score, it may be possible to realize the plan of MYbank’s pure Internet bank. "A banking license can make it easier for Ant Financial to engage in lending, payment and settlement and other businesses, but this requires communication with the China Banking Regulatory Commission and approval before it can operate," Ma Tao said.
Previously, Ant Financial had launched "Huabei", which is funded by Ant Small Loans and is mainly used by consumers for shopping on Tmall and Taobao. It can provide interest-free loans for up to 40 days. The credit limit is calculated based on the big data accumulated by Alibaba's e-commerce platform. The loan amount ranges from 1,000 yuan to 30,000 yuan. If the repayment exceeds the specified time, a daily interest of 0.05% will be charged.
