The person involved said that he had previously purchased a ticket to return home, but the flight was cancelled.
"It was particularly scary when the air raid sirens went off last night. Around 1 a.m. Dubai time, I was playing with my phone when suddenly all the smart devices went off with alarms and blue lights flashing. It was really scary at that moment."
Ms. Cai said that her China Southern Airlines flight originally scheduled to return from Dubai on the 3rd has been cancelled.
"If you want to return to China now, you can only consider taking the land route, driving 4 to 5 hours to Oman or Turkey, and then transferring there." Ms. Cai told reporters that it is understood that many tourists are also looking for ways to return to China. Hotel occupancy in Dubai is currently tight, and there is a lack of chartered transportation resources. Since she and her father have a fixed residence in the local area, and they are worried about encountering missile fragments or militants on the way, they temporarily chose to stay at home in Dubai while trying to contact the Chinese Embassy.
