The fuel vehicle market may come under further pressure
Data from the Ministry of Public Security show that in 2023, there will be 24.56 million newly registered cars nationwide, an increase of 1.33 million vehicles compared with 2022 and a year-on-year increase of 5.73%. Among them, new energy vehicles reached 7.43 million, accounting for 30.25% of the number of newly registered vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 38.76%. In 2023, the number of new energy vehicles in my country will reach 20.41 million, accounting for 6.07% of the total number of vehicles. Among them, the number of pure electric vehicles is 15.52 million, accounting for 76.04% of the number of new energy vehicles.
Although the proportion of new energy vehicles in the total is still low, the growth rate of new energy vehicles is still relatively fast.
