2026 Recruitment Announcement And Application Requirements For Primary And Secondary School Teachers In Our City

In order to replenish primary and secondary school teachers in a timely manner, in accordance with the relevant regulations on public recruitment of staff in public institutions, and in accordance with the principles of openness, equality, competition, and merit-based selection, our city plans to recruit a group of primary and secondary school teachers through unified public examinations in 2026. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. Recruitment conditions

(1) Basic recruitment conditions

2. Have the nationality of the People's Republic of China and be over 18 years old (born before March 11, 2008).

3. Have the education, knowledge and work ability that meet the job requirements.

4. Adapt to the physical conditions required by the position.

5. Obtain the teacher qualification certificate stipulated in the "Teacher Qualification Regulations".

6. Possess nationally recognized academic qualifications. The majors on the graduation certificate corresponding to the academic qualifications must be filled in truthfully according to the job requirements (the minor major does not belong to the majors on the graduation certificate corresponding to the academic qualifications, and the minor professional certificates alone or in combination are not used as the basis for application). The registered majors, academic qualifications, and degrees should be consistent. For disciplines and majors, please refer to the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Civil Servant Professional Classification Guidance Catalog for Examination and Recruitment (2026 Edition) or the catalog of disciplines and majors formulated by the national education administration department, the professional catalog of technical colleges formulated by the human resources and social security department, and the professional guidance catalog for public recruitment of public institutions formulated or determined by the comprehensive personnel management department of the autonomous region.

Graduates of senior engineering classes and preparatory technician (technician) classes in technical colleges can apply for the examination with academic qualifications equivalent to those of junior college and undergraduate respectively.

Based on the actual recruitment work of primary and secondary school teachers in Nanning City in recent years, in this recruitment, in addition to the majors specified in the job list for the corresponding subject teacher positions, candidates in the education majors corresponding to the subject (such as the physics teacher position, the corresponding subject teaching (physics) major or the physics education major) and who meet the job requirements can also apply.

7. Age, work experience and relevant qualification requirements for recruitment positions are calculated until March 11, 2026 (for example, if you are 18-38 years old, you were born between March 12, 1987 and March 11, 2008). Participating in social practice, internships, part-time work, etc. during full-time or part-time study is not considered to have relevant work experience.

8. All positions accept applications from qualified college graduates graduating in 2026. If fresh college graduates in 2026 are unable to provide graduation certificates and degree certificates when registering, they should provide employment recommendation forms, student status certificates and other relevant materials during the interview qualification review, and obtain graduation certificates, degree certificates, teacher qualification certificates, and Mandarin proficiency test certificates before July 31, 2026. Foreign (overseas) college graduates should also complete academic degree certification. Overdue employment qualifications will be deemed to have been given up. Among them, graduates of other forms of national education other than general higher education (including self-study examinations, adult education, online education, etc.) must obtain the corresponding academic qualifications and degree certificates before March 11, 2026.

9. Have other qualifications required for the recruitment position.

(2) Applicants for targeted recruitment positions should meet the following qualifications:

1. Those who apply for the special recruitment position for college graduates must be college graduates graduating in 2026, as well as college graduates graduating in 2025 who have not implemented various control work within the establishment and included in the total number of personnel management.

2. Those who apply for the targeted recruitment of retired military personnel must be retired military personnel who have legally retired from active service in the Chinese People's Liberation Army or the Chinese People's Armed Police Force.

Those who have applied for the targeted recruitment of retired military personnel in the open recruitment of public institutions in the past years or been placed in public institutions according to regulations, and have gone through the recruitment procedures, can no longer apply for the targeted recruitment of retired military personnel.

(3) Persons with any of the following circumstances are not allowed to apply:

1. Active military personnel;

2. Those who are not graduating from ordinary colleges and universities in 2026 (among them, those who are not graduating from college in 2026 and postgraduate students cannot apply for the examination with their already obtained academic qualifications and degree certificates);

3. Persons who have received criminal punishment for crimes, persons who have been expelled from the Communist Party of China, and persons who have been expelled from public office;

4. Persons who have been deemed by the examination organizing department to have committed serious disciplinary violations during civil service recruitment and open recruitment by public institutions and are within the period of suspension from examination;

5. Public employees of state agencies and public institutions who have been dismissed for less than five years;

6. Recruit (employ) staff to government agencies and institutions through preferential policies such as agreement training, targeted training, targeted recruitment, direct assessment, etc., and who are still within the minimum service period, and various types of controlled personnel included in the total number of personnel management;

7. Persons who are being listed as targets of joint punishment for breach of trust according to law;

8. Persons who are being punished, or are undergoing disciplinary review or supervision, or judicial investigations that have yet to reach a conclusion;

9. Personnel whose employment constitutes a avoidance relationship;

10. Current employees of public institutions and various types of controlled personnel included in the total personnel management are not allowed to apply for positions in their current units with the same employment method (see "Employment Method" in the job list for details).

11. According to regulations, personnel under other circumstances are not allowed to be recruited as staff of public institutions.

2. Recruitment targets

Persons with nationally recognized academic qualifications and meeting the requirements for the position.

3. Information release

The public recruitment announcement, additional examination sessions, list of interview candidates and announcement of proposed candidates are released on the Nanning Municipal Education Bureau website (http://jy.nanning.gov.cn/) under the special topic "Nanning City 2026 Public Examination Recruitment of Primary and Secondary School Teachers". Interview announcements, physical examinations, inspections and other specific matters are released by each county (city, district) on the relevant website (see Appendix 1 for details).

4. Registration and qualification review

Exam registration includes online registration, online qualification review, online inquiry, online payment, online printing of registration forms and written examination admission tickets.

If applicants need consultation on the qualifications for the recruitment position, please directly call the consultation number listed in the job list. The academic qualifications, majors and other qualifications required for recruitment positions are set and interpreted by the recruiting unit and its competent department.

(1) Online registration

Applicants should log in to the "Nanning City 2026 Public Examination Recruitment of Primary and Secondary School Teachers" topic on the homepage of the Nanning Municipal Education Bureau website (http://jy.nanning.gov.cn/), click on the topic icon to enter the "Nanning City 2026 Public Examination Recruitment of Primary and Secondary School Teachers Online Registration Portal" to register online, fill in the information as required, and upload a full-face, bareheaded color ID photo of yourself. Applicants must use their valid resident ID cards to register, and each person can only register for one position.

For positions whose "Examination Method" column in the job list is "Written Test + Interview", you are required to take a written test and interview. For positions where the "Examination Method" column is "Direct Interview", if the number of applicants for the same position is less than or equal to 21 and has passed the qualification review, the qualification examiner will directly determine the candidate for interview; the number of applicants for the same position who has passed the qualification review is more than 21. Considering that there is no guarantee that more than 21 people will be interviewed for the same position by the same group of interviewers on the same day, all interviews should be in the form of "written test + interview". The "Examination Method" column is for "direct assessment" positions, and there is no need to participate in a written test or interview.

When registering, applicants should carefully read and understand the brochure and job conditions, register in good faith, and take the exam in good faith. The registration information filled in must be true and accurate. On-the-job personnel in government agencies and institutions and all types of controlled personnel included in total personnel management should truthfully fill in their on-the-job work status when registering online. Submitting registration shall be deemed as voluntarily accepting the examination, inspection, physical examination and publicity procedures carried out in accordance with the brochure. If the materials submitted for online registration are untrue, incomplete, or the registration information is incorrectly filled in, resulting in failure to pass the online qualification review and subsequent qualification review, the applicant shall bear the responsibility. Applicants are not allowed to apply for positions that require avoidance in the "Regulations on Disqualification of Personnel Management of Public Institutions" (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Regulations [2019] No. 1). Applicants who have family relationships with staff of the recruiting unit or other circumstances that require avoidance should proactively report when registering. Applicants who register maliciously, register falsely, and disrupt the order of registration will be dealt with seriously in accordance with relevant regulations once confirmed.

Applicants must arrange their registration time reasonably, fill in, submit and confirm the registration information in a timely manner to avoid network congestion and other situations that may affect their registration. After the registration deadline, they cannot modify the application information or apply for other positions.

During the registration period, the consultation phone line may be congested and busy. If applicants have any questions, they should read the brochure, job list, etc. in detail. If they still have questions, call again. The staff will only explain the contents and policies of the brochure and will not confirm whether the applicants meet the job requirements during the consultation call.

Online registration time: 8:00 on March 11, 2026 to 18:00 on March 17, 2026.

(2) Online qualification review

Each recruitment unit will conduct an online qualification review of applicants based on the job conditions stipulated in this brochure, and provide review opinions within 2 days from the day after the applicant submits the registration information; applicants can check the qualification review results online. After registration confirmation, if the qualification review has not been conducted or has passed the qualification review, they may not modify the application information or apply for other positions. Those who have not passed the qualification review before registration is confirmed can apply for other positions online before the registration deadline at 18:00 on March 17, 2026. The results of the online review are not the final basis for determining eligibility for the position. Qualification review runs through the entire recruitment process.

Online qualification review time: 8:00 on March 11, 2026 to 18:00 on March 19.

(3) Online payment

Applicants who pass the qualification review must pay the registration examination fee in the online registration system within the specified time. The examination fee is 50 yuan per person. Registration will be deemed successful only after payment is completed. Failure to pay the fee within the stipulated time will be deemed as giving up the application. For positions where the examination method is direct interview, you should pay the fee first. After the online job change process, if the number of successful applicants is still less than or equal to 21 and there is no need to add written examination positions (hereinafter referred to as "direct interview positions"), the examination fee will be refunded according to regulations. The examination method is for direct assessment positions (hereinafter referred to as "direct assessment positions"). After passing the qualification review, the registration system will automatically set the examination fee to have been paid, and applicants do not need to actually pay the examination fee.

The time to pay the registration examination fee is from 8:00 on March 11, 2026 to 17:00 on March 20, 2026.

(4) Exam opening ratio

In principle, the ratio between the number of job recruits and the number of successful applicants must reach 1:3 before the exam can be held. If the ratio of opening exams cannot be reached, the number of job recruitments will be reduced; if the number of job recruitments is reduced to 1 but still cannot reach the 1:3 ratio of opening exams, the ratio of opening exams can be reduced to 1:2; if the ratio of 1:2 cannot be reached, the recruitment plan will be cancelled. For positions that are ultimately canceled, the recruiting unit will promptly notify applicants to apply for other positions online within the specified time. Direct examination positions can be approved based on the number of people who actually pass the qualification examination.

(5) Online job change and qualification review

For positions whose recruitment plan has been canceled due to failure to meet the examination opening ratio, those who have successfully registered can re-apply online. Online re-application and qualification review will be conducted at the same time. Applicants are requested to fill in and submit the registration information in a timely manner.

After the online application for job change is completed, the examination fee will be refunded according to regulations to the aforementioned successful applicants who did not change their application for other positions on time or who failed to pass the qualification review for the changed position. For positions whose recruitment numbers have been reduced, the recruitment number will not be adjusted again for this link.

Time to change the position: 8:00 to 17:00 on March 24, 2026.

The qualification review time for re-submitted positions is: 8:00 to 18:00 on March 24, 2026.

(6) Print the written examination admission ticket and registration form

Those who have successfully registered can log in to the Nanning Municipal Education Bureau website to enter the registration system for the topic "Nanning Municipal Public Examination Recruitment of Primary and Secondary School Teachers in 2026", and print out the written examination admission ticket (except for direct interviews and direct assessment positions, the same below) and registration form. Applicants must take the written test at the time and place specified on the written test admission ticket, and bring their original valid resident ID card (or a valid temporary identity certificate issued by the police station in the jurisdiction of the examination venue) and the written test admission ticket to take the written test. Both certificates are indispensable.

The written examination admission ticket and registration form are important documents for participating in the written examination, interview, qualification review and other aspects. Applicants must keep them properly.

The printing time for written examination admission ticket and registration form: 8:30 on April 20, 2026 to 11:00 on April 25, 2026.

5. Examination

(1) Written test

The written test mainly tests the applicant's professional ethics and the mastery and application ability of professional knowledge, skills required for the position. It is a total subject and the full score is 100 points.

Written test time: 10:00-11:30 am on April 25, 2026 (Saturday).

Examination location: See the "Written Exam Admission Ticket" for details.

Written test score inquiry: In late May 2026, applicants can log in to the registration system or inquire with the recruiting unit about their written test scores. The specific time is subject to the registration system. Applicants who have objections to the results of the three types of score inquiry: absenteeism, zero points, and violations of disciplines and violations can apply to the Nanning Municipal Education Bureau for score review within 3 days from the date of release of the written test results. In principle, review will not be accepted under other circumstances.

This recruitment has set a passing score line for the written examination (hereinafter referred to as the "passing score line"). Those who do not meet the passing score line for the written examination shall not be determined as candidates for interview. The passing scores are announced in the special topic "Nanning City's 2026 Public Examination Recruitment of Primary and Secondary School Teachers".

(2) Interview

1. Interview organization and implementation. The interview process will be carried out in accordance with the "Notice of the Organization Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the Office of the Institutional Establishment Committee of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Committee" (Guiren Society Regulations [2025] No. 11), and the "Notice of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region" (Guiren Shefa [2012] No. 79).

Except for direct assessment positions, all positions must participate in interviews organized by the education bureau of the recruiting unit. The interview method is a professional ability test (specific matters will be notified separately by the education bureau of the recruiting unit).

2. Determine the candidates shortlisted for interview and review their qualifications. The interview organization and implementation unit will determine the shortlisted candidates for the interview based on the reduced number of job recruits (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "recruitment number") and the written test scores from high to low in a ratio of 1:3. If the last applicant within the ratio has a tie in written test scores, they will be shortlisted at the same time. Those who are less than 1:3 will be shortlisted based on the actual number of candidates. Applicants who have missed the exam, scored zero points or violated disciplines and rules will not be shortlisted.

Before determining candidates for interview, qualifications will be verified in strict accordance with the requirements in the brochure and the announced job conditions. Applicants who give up their interview qualifications must submit a written application. Those who do not submit a written waiver application as required will be deemed to have automatically given up their interview qualifications. If the candidate for the interview needs to be replaced due to failure in qualification verification or the applicant gives up, the candidate can be replaced in order from high to low based on the written test score after being reviewed and approved by the education bureau at the same level of the recruiting unit in accordance with the procedures.

A strict verification system is implemented for interviews. Anyone who enters the interview must bring the downloaded and printed "Registration Form" and the original copies of relevant certificates. They can only be interviewed after being verified by the recruiting unit. During verification, it is mainly checked whether the information provided by the applicant on the "Registration Form" is consistent with the original documents and certificates. If the applicant fails to provide true and valid documents as required within the specified time (such as ID card, written examination admission ticket, registration form, graduation certificate, degree certificate, teacher qualification certificate, Mandarin proficiency test grade certificate, professional and technical qualification certificate, work experience certificate and other relevant materials), or if the information filled in the "Registration Form" is false, the recruiting unit has the right to cancel the applicant's interview qualifications, and the applicant shall bear the responsibility. Applicants who have an employer should obtain the consent of their original employer and properly handle the personnel (labor) relationship with their original employer. If it affects subsequent employment procedures such as inspections, the applicant will be responsible for the consequences.

3. Announce the list of interview candidates. The list of interview candidates will be published on the Nanning Municipal Education Bureau website and in the work area of ​​the recruiting unit. After the list is announced, those who voluntarily give up their interview qualifications or fail the interview qualification review will not be replaced.

4. Announce the interview announcement. The interview announcement will be published by the interview organization and implementation unit on the relevant website (see Appendix 1 for details) before the interview.

5. Interview time, place and results announced. The interview time, location and related matters will be notified in writing by the recruiting unit to the interviewees. During the interview, interviewers are strictly prohibited from bringing mobile phones and other communication tools into the waiting room and interview examination room, and are not allowed to disclose their name, place of origin and other personal information to the examiner.

6. Calculation of interview scores. The full score of the interview is 100 points, and the passing score is 60 points. Those who do not reach the passing score will not be able to enter the next process. If the ratio of 1:3 cannot be reached during the interview, the interview score of the candidate for this position must reach 70 points. If the scores of all candidates fail to meet the above-mentioned passing scores, the recruitment for this position will be cancelled.

(3) Assessment

For direct assessment positions, the recruiting unit and its competent department shall determine the assessment method and organize and implement it by themselves. The assessment method, time, location and other related matters shall be announced on the relevant website (see Appendix 1 for details). If the number of people who pass the qualification examination is less than or equal to the number of positions recruited, they can directly enter the inspection with the consent of the competent department.

(4) Total exam score

1. The total test score for the written test position = written test score × 50% + interview score × 50%;

2. The total test score for the direct interview position = interview score;

3. The total examination score for the direct assessment position = assessment score (conclusion).

Written test scores, interview scores, and total test scores are calculated to two decimal places, and the remainder is rounded off.

6. Inspection and physical examination

The recruiting unit determines the candidates for inspection and physical examination based on the total test scores of the candidates for the recruitment position in a 1:1 ratio to the number of recruits. Those whose interview score does not reach 60 points shall not be determined as candidates for inspection and physical examination. If the candidates with the highest overall test scores within the ratio are the same, the candidate with the higher interview score will be selected.

The order of inspection and physical examination shall be determined by the recruiting unit and its competent department based on the actual situation, and shall be clarified in the interview announcement.

(1) Inspection.

The recruiting unit shall specifically organize and implement the inspection work. Focus on examining the political quality, moral quality, ability quality, psychological quality, compliance with laws and regulations, integrity records, study and work performance, and situations that require avoidance, etc. of the candidates. At the same time, their qualifications and related situations will be reviewed. Anyone who cannot conduct an effective inspection due to incomplete important archival materials, unclear personal experience, unclear historical status, etc., and who does not meet the job requirements, shall not be determined as a proposed candidate. Those who fail the examination shall not be determined as candidates for employment.

(2) Physical examination.

The physical examination work is carried out in accordance with the "Notice of the Organization Department of the Committee of the Communist Party of China Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and the Health Commission of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on issues related to further standardizing the physical examination of public recruitment personnel in public institutions" (Guiren Society Regulations [2019] No. 11) and the "Department of Human Resources and Social Security of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region" The Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Health Commission issued the "General Standards for Physical Examination of Public Recruitment Personnel in Public Institutions in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Trial)" and the "Physical Examination Operation Manual for Open Recruitment of Personnel in Public Institutions in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (Trial)" (Guiren Society Regulations [2024] No. 3) and is implemented with reference to the "Notice of the General Office of the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the General Office of the National Health and Health Commission on Adjusting the Inspection Standards for Physical Examination Related Items for the Recruitment of Civil Servants". For positions with special physical requirements, relevant physical examination items may be implemented with reference to the special standards for civil servant recruitment physical examinations. If the recruitment position has industry physical examination standards formulated by the state, the relevant physical examination items can be carried out in accordance with the industry physical examination standards.

Physical examination personnel from municipal and urban-affiliated units shall be uniformly organized by the competent department of the recruiting unit to undergo physical examinations at designated hospitals. Physical examination personnel from units affiliated to each county (city) are organized by the education bureaus of each county (city) to undergo physical examinations at medical institutions with equivalent qualifications at or above the county level. The cost of the physical examination (including additional physical examination items and re-examination) shall be borne by the individual candidates.

If applicants have questions about their physical examination results, they can submit a written application for reexamination to the physical examination organization unit within 7 working days from the date of receiving the notification of the physical examination conclusion, and the reexamination will be carried out after approval. The re-inspection items must be completed on the same day or on the spot. In principle, items that are not re-examined on the same day or on the spot are not allowed to be re-examined at the original physical examination hospital. The re-examination can only be conducted once, and the physical examination results are subject to the conclusion of the re-examination. The content of the re-examination is items that have an impact on the conclusion of the physical examination. Physical examination organizing units, physical examination medical institutions and their staff should keep reexamination items strictly confidential. Those who fail the physical examination shall not be identified as candidates for recruitment.

If there are unqualified candidates during the inspection or physical examination or the applicants voluntarily give up, the recruiting unit can report to the competent department for review within 15 working days and then select qualified candidates for inspection and physical examination in descending order according to the total examination score.

7. Announcement and Recruitment

(1) Select the best candidates from among those who have passed the overall test scores, inspections, and physical examination results, and publish them on the Municipal Education Bureau website and relevant websites specified by the competent department. The publicity time shall be no less than 5 working days.

(2) If there is any objection to the proposed personnel during the public announcement period, the recruiting unit shall conduct a review in a timely manner. If problems affecting employment are reported during the publicity period and substantive evidence is found, the job will not be made; if the problems reported are difficult to verify at the moment, the hiring should be postponed until a decision is made on whether to hire the employee or not until the results are verified and a conclusion is made.

(3) After the publicity period expires, if there is no objection or if the objection is verified and it does not affect the employment, the employment procedures will be handled in accordance with regulations. If the proposed employee gives up his qualifications after the public announcement or if the public announcement has objections that affect the employment, he will not be replaced.

For recruitment using public institutions, the education bureaus and human resources and social security bureaus at all levels will handle employment-related procedures in accordance with procedures. If the teacher recruitment control number or teaching staff control number is used for recruitment, the employment procedures shall be handled by the education bureaus at all levels in accordance with the procedures, and employment notices will be issued separately by unit. At the same time, the employment notice will be reported to the Party Committee Office, Finance Bureau, and Human Resources and Social Security Bureau at the same level for filing.

Those who are employed as teachers or teaching staff will not go through formalities for recruitment. In terms of salary, professional title evaluation, competition for positions, job exchanges, social insurance, etc., they will be in accordance with the "Notice on Unifying the Staff Establishment Standards for Urban and Rural Primary and Secondary School Teachers" (Guibianfa [2015] No. 85), "Guangzhou Bianfa" [2015] No. 85 Notice of the Human Resources and Social Security Department of the West Zhuang Autonomous Region and other four departments on the participation of relevant personnel in public institutions in pension insurance (Guiren Shefa [2020] No. 9), and the "Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Secondary Vocational School Institutional Establishment Management Measures" (Guibianfa [2023] No. 2) are implemented.

(4) The recruiting unit should notify the hiring personnel to report within 30 days from the date of completion of the employment review or filing, and at the same time go through the relevant procedures for the use of establishment (control numbers). If you fail to report within the due date, the recruiting unit may automatically give up your employment qualifications. Applicants who have an employer should properly handle the personnel (labor) relationship with their original employer so as not to affect later employment.

Those who still give up or fail the inspection or physical examination after December 31, 2026 will no longer be compensated.

(5) Recruiting units must strictly follow relevant regulations, sign employment contracts with new recruits through open recruitment, and pay social insurance premiums in accordance with regulations. The actual employment level of new employees must be determined based on their professional titles and relevant employment regulations. If they do not participate in the competition for employment during the probationary period, their employment will be canceled if they fail to pass the assessment at the end of the probationary period. If the recruitment position has minimum service years requirements according to relevant regulations, the relevant requirements and liability for breach of contract should be clearly stated in the employment contract. In principle, within the minimum service period, neither the public institution nor the staff may terminate the employment contract at will (other provisions shall prevail). If a staff member violates the minimum service period agreement after being hired, the public institution shall record the violation in the personnel file.

8. Reminders on related matters

(1) Strict qualification review and verification. Qualification review and verification work should be carried out throughout the entire recruitment process, and the application materials submitted by applicants should be true and accurate. If any applicant is found to have failed to meet the job requirements or has committed fraud in any aspect of the recruitment process, his/her qualifications for examination and employment will be canceled immediately upon verification.

(2) Strict recruitment discipline. Staff members must strictly implement the avoidance system in accordance with the "Revocation Regulations on Personnel Management of Public Institutions" (Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security Regulations [2019] No. 1). Applicants, recruiting units and recruiting staff must strictly abide by recruitment disciplines.
