[News] The opening ceremony of the 3rd National College Student Electrochemical Measurement Technology Competition was held

At 8:30 am on April 9, 2024, the third National College Student Electrochemical Measurement Technology Competition held an online opening ceremony.
Secretary-General Xin Xiao of the China Chemical Industry Education Association and Academician Sun Jun of Xi'an Jiaotong University delivered speeches on behalf of the organizers respectively. Deputy Chairman of the Competition Organizing Committee and Professor Liu Youzhi of North China University delivered a speech on behalf of the Competition Organizing Committee. Professor Ding Xiangdong, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Technology of Xi'an Jiaotong University, presided over the opening ceremony.
The number of registered teams for the competition is 1,942, coming from 227 universities. Among the 3,884 registered students, there are more than 1,100 students majoring in chemical engineering, more than 1,100 students majoring in chemistry, more than 760 students majoring in materials, and more than 370 students majoring in new energy. In addition, there are students majoring in environment, machinery, physics, pharmaceuticals, etc.
The opening ceremony was followed by electrochemical measurement technology training. Professor Zhang Yong from Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Professor Yu Mei from Beihang University, Professor Zhan Dongping from Xiamen University, experts from Shenzhen Xinwell Electronics Co., Ltd., Professor Lou Shuaifeng from Harbin Institute of Technology, researcher Zhou Min from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, teacher Yin Jinling from Harbin Engineering University, associate professor Kong Fanpeng from Harbin Institute of Technology and experts from Beijing Obel Software Technology Development Co., Ltd. successively taught the basic theory of electrochemical measurement, specific test methods and experimental safety knowledge.
