Attention candidates, according to the Guangdong Provincial Education Examination Authority, starting from 9:00 tomorrow (October 10), pre-registration for the 2026 postgraduate examination will begin. The details are as follows:
1. Application process
Candidates must log in to the "China Graduate Admissions Information Network" (public website address: https://yz.chsi.com.cn) during the registration period, fill in the registration information as required, pay the application fee through "online payment" after successful submission, and check and confirm the online registration information according to the requirements of the registration site within the specified time.
Candidates who are eligible to be exempted from the preliminary examination should log in to the "National Recommended Examination-Exemption to Study for Postgraduate Studies (Exemption from the Preliminary Examination and Transfer) Information Disclosure and Management Service System" (website: https://yz.chsi.com.cn/tm) during the registration period for the national unified examination stipulated by the Ministry of Education.
2. Online registration, payment and confirmation time
Online payment: After candidates successfully submit online application information, they should pay the application fee through "online payment" before the registration deadline.
Online confirmation: late October to early November 2025 (the specific time is determined by each registration site according to the work arrangements of the Ministry of Education and the actual situation, candidates are asked to pay close attention).
All candidates should register, pay and confirm online within the specified time as required, carefully check their registration information, and submit supplementary materials according to the verification requirements. No additional registration, payment or confirmation is allowed after the deadline.
3. Application fee
Candidates who take the unified examination, joint examination for Master of Laws and joint examination for management (accounting, auditing, library and information professional degrees) need to pay an application fee of 40 yuan per subject per student; candidates who take individual examinations and joint examinations for management (professional degrees in business administration, public administration, engineering management, and tourism management) need to pay an application fee according to the charging standards of each registration point.

During the registration period, if the capacity of the registration center is exceeded due to the concentration of candidates, the Provincial Education Examination Authority will adjust some candidates to other registration centers to take the exam based on the actual situation.
5. Application requirements
(1) Candidates who plan to apply for exams in Guangdong Province (excluding recommended candidates) must meet one of the following conditions:
1. Fresh undergraduate graduates with household registration in Guangdong Province or studying in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province (including fresh undergraduate graduates from regular colleges and universities in the province, adult colleges and universities, and adult higher education institutions organized by regular colleges and universities);
2. Fresh undergraduate graduates from adult colleges and universities whose teaching points are in Guangdong Province;
3. Previous undergraduate graduates or candidates with equivalent academic qualifications whose work or registered residence is in Guangdong Province (those who apply based on their work location should generally have a social security certificate. For specific requirements, please see the announcement of the registration center);
4. Candidates who apply for individual examinations from admissions units in Guangdong Province;
5. Candidates applying for Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Xinghai Conservatory of Music;
6. Fresh undergraduate graduates applying for internship in Guangdong Province;
7. Candidates who use drawing boards or non-conventional test papers for preliminary examination subjects, or whose examination lasts for more than three hours, and who apply for admissions units in Guangdong Province.
(2) Candidates who plan to apply for the exam in Guangdong Province (excluding recommended candidates) must strictly abide by the acceptance range of the registration point when choosing the registration point, otherwise the registration result will be invalid.
1. The application centers of South China Normal University, Guangzhou Medical University, Southern Medical University, Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, South China Agricultural University, Shenzhen University and Shantou University only accept applications from candidates applying for their own schools.
2. The registration centers of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Xinghai Conservatory of Music only accept applications from candidates applying for their own schools, and all candidates applying for these two institutions must choose the school they apply for as the registration center.
3. Candidates who meet the application requirements of various registration centers in Shenzhen must choose the Shenzhen University registration center if they apply for Shenzhen University. If they apply for Northwestern Polytechnical University or Southern University of Science and Technology, they must choose the Southern University of Science and Technology registration center. 4. 13. Candidates who meet the registration conditions at the registration centers in other cities can choose the corresponding city registration center to register.
14. Candidates whose preliminary examination subjects use drawing board type or non-conventional examination paper, or whose examination lasts for more than three hours, must choose the institution they are applying for as the registration point (not subject to the restrictions of points 3-13 of the fifth point (second) above). If candidates have any questions about the selection of preliminary examination subjects or registration points, they can consult the applicant's institution before registration.
6. Precautions
(1) Candidates should carefully review the Ministry of Education’s 2026 National Master’s Degree Admissions Management Regulations and the 2026 Master’s Degree Admissions Regulations of the enrollment unit where they apply, and register in strict accordance with the application conditions and relevant requirements. If the applicant fails to meet the application conditions and relevant requirements, or the candidate chooses the wrong application location due to personal reasons, resulting in subsequent inability to conduct online confirmation, examination, re-examination or admission, the consequences shall be borne by the candidate himself.
(2) Candidates are requested to pay close attention to the website of the Guangdong Provincial Education Examination Authority (http://eea.gd.gov.cn/), the WeChat public account (gdsjyksy), and the announcements issued by the registration center on the official website, WeChat public account, and the research and recruitment website, and receive relevant information from the registration center in a timely manner. If you have any questions, you should take the initiative to consult the examination center.
(3) The information filled in by the candidates must be true and accurate. After candidates submit their application information, Yanzhao.com automatically generates the application information. The key information such as "Application Unit", "Application Point" and "Examination Method" cannot be changed. If you fill in the key information incorrectly, you must cancel your registration and re-register before the online registration deadline, and re-pay the registration fee (the paid fee will be automatically refunded by the system after the online registration is completed). No modifications will be made after the deadline.
(4) During the registration period, the candidate’s academic qualifications (student status) information will be verified online, and candidates can check the academic qualifications (student status) verification results online.
