Preliminary investigation showed that the gang received drugs from the border area of Tay Ninh Province (Tây Ninh) on the border with Cambodia, transported them back to Ho Chi Minh City and hid them in various communes under the jurisdiction of Ho Chi Minh City, and then repackaged and transported them to the distribution network in the city, Tay Ninh Province, Đăk Lăk Province and several southern provinces.
So far, PC04 has seized more than 17 kilograms of various drugs, nearly 1,000 ecstasy pills and 60 packets of so-called "happy water". The case is being further explored and expanded.

The complete destruction of the entire drug chain from the principal criminals to the distribution links and even drug addicts is an important measure for Ho Chi Minh City to promote the construction of a "drug-free city" and also create a safe and stable social environment for the upcoming congressional representative election.
