1. School Introduction
Hunan University of Technology is located in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, the cradle of China's electric locomotives and the leading power industry cluster in the country. The school is a comprehensive university with a history of more than 60 years. It covers an area of 3853.7 acres and has 30,568 full-time students. 2. Introduction to the College
The School of Business was founded in 1979. After more than 40 years of development, it has formed a basic pattern with business administration as the main body and the coordinated development of the three major disciplines of business administration, management science and engineering, and public administration. The school won the title of "Top Ten Distinctive Business Schools" at the 14th China MBA Alliance Leaders Annual Conference, and won the honor of the 2021 Business Education Brand Strength Institution of the China Broadcasting Network. The Business School has 1 national outstanding teacher, 1 expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 5 national second-level professors, 2 Hunan Province outstanding teachers, 1 Hunan Province Furong Scholar, 1 Hunan Province Furong Chair Professor, 6 Hunan Province Young Backbone Teachers, and 1 Hunan Province Excellent MBA Teaching Team.
The college currently has two first-level master's degree programs in business administration (the school's doctoral program) and management science and engineering, three professional master's programs in business administration (MBA), public administration (MPA), and logistics engineering and management (MEM); and five undergraduate majors in business administration, human resource management, marketing, information management and information systems, and e-commerce. Among them, business administration and marketing were rated as national first-class professional construction sites, and business administration was rated C in the fifth round of national subject evaluation.
The college adheres to the "Business +" education direction and aims to serve local economic and social development and the construction of a "two-oriented" society in the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Tanzhou urban agglomeration. It focuses on cross-border integration and actively promotes the digital transformation of business majors. It is committed to cultivating outstanding business talents who are familiar with Chinese management scenarios, master modern management theories, and lead the trend of youth entrepreneurship.
The college has 1 national-level scientific research platform and 6 provincial-level scientific research platforms. In recent years, it has won 1 second-class national teaching achievement award, 3 provincial teaching achievement awards, nearly 30 gold medals in various competitions above the provincial level, and more than 100 awards at other levels; won 2 provincial social science achievement awards, and published more than 600 papers in national and provincial academic journals. has undertaken more than 80 projects at the national, provincial and ministerial levels: 16 projects from the National Social Science Fund and 4 projects from the National Autonomous Science Fund; published 59 academic books and textbooks; many local cases have been successfully selected into the China Management Case Sharing Center and the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management Case Library. 4. Talent treatment
The benefits for Hunan University of Technology’s doctoral talent introduction are shown in Table 2. Particularly outstanding PhDs can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
In addition, Zhuzhou City attaches great importance to talents. According to the "30 Measures of the Zhuzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Zhuzhou Municipal People's Government on Optimizing the Talent Policy System to Promote the High-Quality Development of the City" (Zhuzhou Fa [2021] No. 10), the A, B, C, D, and E talents introduced full-time will be given settlement subsidies of 2 million yuan, 1 million yuan, 500,000 yuan, 200,000 yuan, and 100,000 yuan respectively, and will be distributed in three years in a ratio of 5:3:2. The three types of talents introduced flexibly, A, B, and C, will be given flexible subsidies of up to 100,000 yuan, 80,000 yuan, and 50,000 yuan each year respectively, and the period of enjoyment for each person shall not exceed three years.
