Secrets to pass the review of WeChat emoticons!
Wow, everyone, pay attention! I submitted a set of WeChat emoticon packages a few days ago, and when I logged into the WeChat Emoticon Open Platform today, I discovered that they had been reviewed! It took me a week to revise the first set of emoticons before it was approved. This time, the second set went so smoothly, I can’t believe it!

Tool selection: Use the Chinese version of Midjourney to generate a series of pictures, and then use Photoshop for later modification and beautification. This combination is really good, efficient and effective.
Font selection: Be sure to use free commercial fonts. Fonts with copyright disputes will not pass the review. Don’t ask me how I know, the first set of emoticons was rejected because of this.
Typo Check: Reviewers really read every word carefully, so there are no typos. The first set of emoticons was rejected because of an obscure typo. It was really not worth the loss.
Picture inspection: The picture must be enlarged for viewing, or a temporary background color must be added for viewing. Some pictures will have white edges or residual pixels when cutting out, which cannot be seen at all in small pictures, but can be seen clearly when enlarged. Make sure all images are clear and clean.
Character classification: For characters drawn with AI, do not select anime/comic/cartoon characters when choosing a classification. Instead, select children, teenagers, or elders among the characters. If you choose the wrong one, your drawing will be returned. If it is an animal, just select the corresponding animal.
Single products are easier to pass than albums: basically they pass in one go, and the submitted content is also very simple. It is recommended that beginners start with expression single products.
