Han Yueqiao was born in a military family in Zuoquan, Shanxi Province in 1957. Her parents were both in the army, and her upbringing was as strict as military camp rules. In the 1980s, she continued to take roles, such as playing a sentry in "The Outpost in the Birch Forest" and playing a national girl in "The Peacock Princess". She performed well in each film.
